About Ram Canada
Ram Trucks is a subsidiary of the Chrysler Group, established in 2009 as a brand extension to Dodge. The new brand was established in order to create a new identity aside from the mainstream Dodge brand.
In 1933, Dodge adapted the Ram symbol as the hood arm on its vehicles to symbolize its reputation as being the “King of the Trail”. The Ram pickup truck line has been sold in Canada for over 24 years and is considered to have the longest life span in comparison to the Ford F-150, GMC Sierra, and Chevrolet Silverado. The current pickup line includes the Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500. The Ram 1500 is reported to be Canada’s fastest growing pickup while the 2500 and 3500 are Canada’s best-selling diesel pickups. Leading class technological advancements in the vehicles include Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC), a Diesel Exhaust Brake and Trailer Sway Control (TSC).
