Lexus was established in 1989 and is the Japanese luxury division under the larger conglomerate Toyota Motor Company. The current product line includes the CT, IS, ES, GS, LS, IS C, LFA, RX, GX, and LX. In 1990, Lexus was launched in Canada with the LS 400 and established headquarters in Toronto, Ontario. The slogan, “The Pursuit of Perfection” had remained consistent throughout the years to convey a strong sense of quality and attention to detail.
Lexus is a leader in innovation with advanced technologies including, Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system, Pre-Collision System (PCS), and an Advanced Parking Guidance System. It has also been recently ranked the highest in terms of vehicle quality in the 2012 J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study. The company also won the 2011 Edmunds Best Retained Value award for the GS 350, IS 250 C, RX 350, and GS 460.

The Lexus RX is the best-selling luxury crossover in the United States and set the precedent for inspiration of other models by competitors, such as the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz ML, and Acura MDX. It is loaded with features such as Side Roll-Sensing Curtain Airbags (RSCA), an Auto Sound Levelizer (ASL), and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC).
The LS Series is the flagship luxury model that is available in the LS 460 RWD, LS 460 All-Wheel Drive (AWD), LS 460 L AWD, and LS600h L hybrid.
