Last week I went to the Honda dealership. I was considering upgrading my 2015 Honda. Tyrone was my sales representative. He was very polite, and courteous. He was also very knowledgeable. I felt at ease as soon as he began to talk with me about my options.
Courtney helped me with the financing. She explained each option thoroughly. She also was very personable.
A few days later, I noticed that someone had banged into my car and there were two visible scratches on my left side door. I spoke to the manager and he told me to bring the car in and they would buff out the scratches.
Now that is going beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle.

Had battery replaced as if failed load test. I checked battery when i picked up car. The mechanic had installed ground lead to battery with cable on at about 45 degrees off. This put a serious strain on the sensor wire. Very sloppy work. I will never take anything serious to this dealer.

I recently purchased a 2019 Honda Accord from White Rock Honda, and since then I have had nothing but problems with my car.

Since purchasing on Dec 31, I have had my car not start for me on 2 occasions, and have had to get it towed to the dealership. They then told me that everything was working fine, and that they would replace the battery.

I work at one of the hospitals ~20km away, and they basically told me I'm SOL. I hope nobody else is dealing with this kind of problem, but I am pretty upset considering this has happened to me TWICE in 3 months, and then having to deal with this after having worked a night shift.

Moh, their preowned sales manager, did not handle our sales negotiation process professionally. It's not what he said but rather how he handled the situation. In short we have never been treated so poorly in our previous vehicle purchases and quite frankly most people we have told our story to are shocked by how badly it was handled.

Update: I did call Alison to further explain the situation as the response received (from Alison) was not what happened. Once she had heard the entire story she was quick to agree that it was not handled appropriately. I appreciated her willingness to acknowledge the wrong. She even tried to make things work for us and called me on her off time. Even though things didn't work out for the vehicle I appreciated her trying. It is obvious that her customers are important to her - updated my 1 star to 3.

Very poor!! Bought car in to have airbag inflater replaced due to a recall. Picked up after and car did not idle or drive properly. Stalled 3 times on way home. Asked them what did they do to my car? They said they could do a diagnostic check on it for $85.00. They did not care that car worked perfectly when I bought it in.

One word of advice. DO NOT get your car serviced here!! Go to the Fraser Hwy location. This was my first time servicing my car here and I will never be back again.
My appointment for an assessment was at 1. I was told I would receive a call to proceed with repair if needed. By 2:30 I had yet to receive a call and when I called was told that my car was just going in to be assessed. This was 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment.
I was told I would receive another call shortly with an update.

By 4:15 still NO call. When I called I was told they were just determining the price and the rep stated she would call me shortly. Well the dept. closes at 5 and by 4:45 with no call back I drove to the dealership.

I explained my frustration at having to wait almost 4 hours for only an assessment and the inconvenience it had caused.
I was told that they were short staffed and nothing more to it.
A simple courtesy call is all it would have taken to update me or explain the situation regarding staff.
Once I paid my fee I was told my car would be driven up front and to just wait.
Well....15 mins later I go back inside and the same rep has my keys!!!!
She didn’t even make eye contact and stated ‘I was waiting for you to come back.’😡
Even then it was another colleague who went to her to ask where my keys were.
I have loyally taken my Honda for service for the last 10 years and the one time I take it to this location it becomes a time consuming horrible experience. I will never recommend this location to anyone!!!

I came in for an airbag recall. Took 6 hours to complete, however I have a dash-cam and I can see that it was only in the shop for approx 17 minutes. I understand there may be a line up of customers but 6 hours for a 17 minute replacement seems a little long. While dropping off my keys, I talked to Lindsay and she was very rude. She just got my information and said it will get done when they have time and grabbed my keys. The place didn't give me a good vibe and made me feel uncomfortable. When picking up my car, they lost my keys. When i was driving home I found grease marks on my windshield right above the air bag area. I didnt bother going back and asked them to clean it. I just did it myself. I would stay away from this place and do not recommend it.

We finally gave up and traded our 2016 Pilot and bought a 2018 Yukon XL. I have more or less given up on Honda completely. Even with major safety issues in the Pilot, Honda Canada was absolutely no help, and neither was White Rock Honda. At this point I'm seriously starting to think about trading my 2017 Accord too. Most interactions with this service department leave me absolutely dumbfounded.

Service has become pretty brutal. We have had at least one vehicle here since our 2005 Odyssey. We currently have a 2016 Pilot and a 2017 Accord, both touring models and both with Honda Plus. The Pilot is an absolute lemon. Already had the transmission replaced among a bunch of other issues. I can't blame White Rock Honda for these issues, it's not their fault. However, their service is a different story. We may be a rather demanding customer as we have three kids and live in the valley so getting vehicles dropped off etc is usually a chqllenge. That said, it is usually just the overall experience at White Rock Honda that leaves us frustrated and almost every time over the last couple of years wondering why I didn't look at Toyota or Hyundai, or any other dealer in the area for that matter. Every time we go in, there is some sort of confusion. Your appointment is tomorrow, when we know it was today, the loaner car is assigned to you, but sorry, we don't have it today, your car is ready but we can't bring it out for 30 minutes, you have an appointment but we forgot to order the parts. I could go on. I have always liked the family and had relatively good experiences from a sales perspective (hence two stars), but things seem off the rails here with respect to service. The pilot is such a lemon I am considering trading it elsewhere and moving on. I hope they can turn things around.

I had a terrible experience at Honda Whiterock !

Manager over there , he didn' even introduce himself and say hello at the moment we met for the first time.when he finished quotation he threw the printing to me on the desk and again he threw a pen when I ask for a pen. Were I his customer or slave ?? From that ugly beginning, he was so rude to the end. He seemed to be so much arrogant and I had a feeling that I was treated so bad because I am small Oriental guy.

At that time I brought the quotation I receiveed from the other Honda shop and asked the salesman to match the condition. I distingtively said if they could not make it , sorry but I couldn't have a contract there. If yes, I said surely I would write down a contrat right now.That was my point.

While I was talking about the condition ( I was not in a good mood but I tried to negotiate with the manager to get a good conclusion ) , the salesman named Todd (?) expressed his bad mood to my wife - probably he was getting mad about my proposal - who was in the next room throwing pen and paper and even pounding a cup ( I heard this later )
Finally when I gave up the negotiation and was about to leave the shop, Todd started to get angry with me shouting " you do not have respect !" repeatedly. Oh my God !!!

I do not know how much profit the shop or the salesman could have.
I just want to buy a car with a good condition as all the customers do.
Sometimes customer could ask for a hard and excessive condition I know. But I wonder If the staff over there think it is right to get angry with that kind of customers and show their rude attitude , even shouting to the customers when they can not come to a good conclusion? Moreover I brought the quotation proposed by other Honda shop and just asked to match it thinking it could be a condition they could accept. Was it too much ?

Today, I got a bad feeling as I and my wife was humiliated by Honda whiterock staff . They surely looked down on me and my wife as we were small Oriental people.

I want to ask them " Do you treat the customers that same way as you did to me and my wife today when you think their proposal is too much and you can not accept it ? "

I do want to get the response from the person who is in charge of the shop. If possible, I even want to contact to somebody who is managing or representing the dealers at Honda Canada.

Anyway, I would like to comment on the very excellent service I have received from White Rock Honda over the past 11 years and 9 months since I bought my new Honda Civic. My 2004 Honda Civic was (sadly from my point of view as it still had lots of good km in it), written off by ICBC following a rear-ender by a Ford truck. But l found a great replacement at White Rock Honda and they gave it great service, so that it is "like new" condition. I could not be happier.

My experience at Whiterock Honda was excellent! All the employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to welcome you into the Honda family. My salesman, Jeff, was very friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the 2016 Honda Fit and its features. It was definitely an unforgettable test drive with my parents, Jeff and I. During the test drive, we pulled up in an absolutely empty parking lot and got asked to leave by a man who wasn't really angry at us, but who was angry that the only car to ever pull up to his store was for a test drive. Anyways, that's another story. Moving on...

Finding the right car at Whiterock Honda is made easy with the help of Sales Manager, Gus. He compared models with me, and helped me find the right car that would work for me and my budget. Although any kind of paperwork can be stressful at times, the paperwork is a breeze and that is because of the financial officer, Susan. Susan was very knowledgeable about leasing and costs, and also very willing to answer any questions that I might have had. Going over the features of the car was excellent. Delivery Specialist, Brad made it fun and easy and he was very friendly and knowledgeable when showing me the features inside and outside of the car. He also assisted me with programming my speed dials and favourite radio stations into the car, then showed me how to use the features hands-free by using the added-features on the steering wheel (e.g. talking features, volume buttons, change mode buttons, etc).

Overall, all the employees that helped me at Whiterock Honda were very professional. I would be happy to recommend this dealership to any member of my family and my friends, and this is because of the exceptional staff!
