Dealing with Tyler our salesman and Kane (manager) was a professionally handled affair from start to finish.
They were courteous and willing to work with us as we strove to make the best deal we could.
We never felt pressured at all. None of the obvious tactics that we had experienced earlier in the week at a different dealer. Just a grown up conversation till we made a deal!!

Fixed my issue. Brian from service was nice enough and responsive via phone.
4000$ service was quoted (2200 more than the 1800 I paid).
Took my vehicle to my buddy to ask and he said nothing they quoted is urgent despite the way they made it sounds. Brakes and rotors still had 10000km in them. Suspension that I was quoted also won't be an issue for a long while as well.
Those were the big items.

Also was told I could have saved 700+$ on the issue I fixed by not visiting the dealer.

Dealers are for in warranty vehicles only. Learned my lesson the expensive way. If you're still in warranty by all means these guys are great. If you're not, go to someone who will be straight up with you and actually take the time to help you understand what the issues are and when they need to be fixed.

Also told me if I traded my car in they would refund me for the service. A "refund" in exchange for a cash back that's tacked on to your vehicle loan is not a refund boys.
I had to ask 4 times to get the total cost breakdown, they only cared about giving me monthly payments.

Like all dealers they care more about their bottom line than their customers, I guess this is normal but it doesn't give any sense of urgency to buy a car. Told the salesman, who was a great guy, no issues there, that ultimately i want something with similar enough monthly payments to what I'm getting until I can get a Tesla,
He responds with quotes that are literally the same or even more expensive than getting a Tesla.

I would very strongly not recommend using the service department . They damaged my car twice while it was being serviced and refused to repair the damage.

The first time they put a 30 cm long scratch on the passenger door and then the second time they took a chunk out of the rear plastic bumper.

The first time it happened I was very upset but thought I guess it is a rare occurrence and won't happen again. I was wrong because the next time I took my Jeep in for service they damaged it again

Each time I took my Jeep into Renfrew for service I cleaned and polished it the night before hoping they would see it was well looked after and it would be treated accordingly.
Because I had polished it I knew that the damage was not there before my Jeep went in to Renfrew.

The Service Manager; Graham would not answer my phone calls or emails. After about 3 months he finally did answer and told me that my claims were suspicious - unbelievable, such poor service and then to make out that I was a liar.

I asked the A M A (Alberta Motor Association) for help with getting the damage on my car repaired by Renfrew but they had the same problems with ignored phone calls and e-mails. They couldn't get the Service Manager to answer any of their phone calls or e-mails.

The eventually had to give up because they had no definite evidence and couldn't pursue it any further. They did say that they have never come across a dealer that was so hard to deal with.

When I bought my Jeep from Renfrew I paid $1200 to have rust proofing and sealant applied to the underneath. When I checked underneath the Jeep 4 months later I found that the main rear cross member had a coating of rust on it.

When I asked Renfrew about this they said they didn't do that section because there were cables etc in the area.
This wasn't true. It is the main rear cross member. A major part of the sudbframe. There are no cables or electrics on this cross member.

They did then spray that part with rust proofing. I am left wondering however if they cleaned off the rust first or just sprayed over the top of the rust.

Called Renfrew Chrysler for the first time this week after my usual dealership couldn’t give me a timeline on the repairs I needed and was very pleasantly surprised. They fixed the issue in one day for just over half of what I was quoted elsewhere. My service advisor, Dean, was super helpful - kept me informed throughout the whole process and made sure I understood all my options without being condescending, and managed to give me a bit of a discount on the original estimate he gave. When we went to pick up the car it had even been fully washed and detailed (something the other dealership has Never done) which was such a treat. We will definitely be returning here for future work and will definitely consider it for our next car purchase.

After literally the worst trip of my life in Calgary where I was robbed for my purse with all my identification, credit cards, car keys everything and being totally stranded without being able to get into or run my car overnight.. they offered to pick me up they worked with me and my police report and got my car there and a new FOB key for a very fair price which they adjusted for my situation, highly recommend them , excellent respectful service everywhere from parts to service to front desk ! Booked an appointment to get an oil change.....when I arrived early I was told it will take all day. I was given a shuttle ride home, I was the third drop off from the shuttle, by the time I got home my scheduled oil change could have been completed. No sense of having an appointment. Renfrew does not respect customers time. Last time I will take my vehicle there. All though this is a free oil change I would gladly pay elsewhere to not be so deceived about timing.

Sarah Gehlig in the service department is fantastic. She is really knowledgeable, helpful and doesn’t try to rip you off or sell you things you don’t need - which is so rare (and so appreciated)! Sarah will do whatever she can to help you and takes the time to explain things in a way you can understand so you can make a good decision you are comfortable with. She remembers every detail and is super attentive to making sure they all get taken care of. Highly recommend seeing Sarah if you have to take your vehicle in to be serviced. I bought a car from Renfrew Chrysler in 1999 and the service was excellent. Much more recently, my 2018 Ram 2500 developed a problem on the way in to Calgary which required warranty attention. We called Renfrew whilst driving and they offered to fit us in as soon as we arrived in town, they were the closest to our appointment. Once I arrived at the service reception, they were quick, efficient and immediately began to identify the problem.

Despite us not buying the vehicle from them (we don't live in Calgary) and them not being too excited to offer full commitment, once the problem was identified, we received top treatment. The service writer (Brian) was accurate and efficient, the service manager engaged and was decisive, and the technician (Chris) took the time to explain everything to me (as a mech geek). Renfrew quickly agreed to a rental car when the problem was noted as needing overnight work.

The truck was repaired on time, and works perfectly again. They cleaned it, and collection was a breeze, again dealing efficiently with the reception and confirming the work completed with Chris again.

Excellent service, professional, courteous and timely.

Kane and the whole crew at Renfrew were amazing! Finance manager Stefan was a true professional and helped finalize the deal. I come from a long auto career with many friends still in the business. NO OTHER DEALERSHIP COULD COME CLOSE. I write that in bold as it needed to be seen by others. Kane stepped up huge and really worked for my business. Former colleagues and friends couldn't even come within thousands of where Kane and Renfrew could. I loved my current vehicle and really had no desire to change things up - however from the first moment I stepped into the dealership I was welcomed and was impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the sales team - Tyler and the others asked the right questions to point me to a new vehicle that I would be proud to take home. MVP has to go to Nigel for all the outstanding service he provided on the finance side - I was trepidacious to initially tackle a new vehicle with financing and new interest rates - however not only did he find me a better model truck then what I was driving with a massively lower interest rate - he also put me in touch with an insurance provider that was cheaper - but provided far more coverage - then my existing insurance provider did. Simply put I received fantastic value for less money - a excellent return on investment. When the time comes to look to upgrade again there will be no doubt I will be going back to Renfrew Chrysler.
