Went in to buy a part for my older Toyota, they were very friendly, super helpful with my request, and the salesmen were very knowledgeable when I asked a question on my way out. I was so impressed that they weren’t pushy AT ALL despite seeing that I was in a 20 year old Toyota - not once did they mention a trade, a new vehicle, etc. When the time does come to get a new vehicle, I absolutely will be back!
My mother in-law expressed that she had decided her next vehicle was going to be a Rav-4. We were on our way to Coombs and suggested that we stop at the dealership in Nanaimo to see what they had available. My husband and I were moving and were hoping to help her find one before we left. When we got there we were helped by Ash. Right from the get go Ash was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. There was zero pressure to buy but when my husband and mother in-law got back from test driving they informed me they had found the one. There were a few concerns but Ash provided solutions. I cannot recommend dealing with Ash enough! If you want some who is upfront and honest, won't pressure you, and is also super friendly Ash is your guy!

Went to test drive a couple used vehicles. It was an okay experience except during our test drive when a sound started coming from the vehicle the salesman turned on the radio and pretended like he was testing it..... just be careful out there folks

Recently, I ordered some bolts through Clare in Parts and was treated with the utmost respect, care, and attention to detail. Clare even went above and beyond and threw in a "Nanaimo Toyota" license plate frame to fit onto my vehicle, which may mean little to most, but meant alot to me. Thanks again Clare.

I was looking for a used car in their inventory from the mainland. Elisabeth was extremely helpful via text and went out of her way to give me as much information as she could as I could not see the vehicle in person. When I finally made the trip for purchase Elisabeth again was very helpful and made the transaction quick and painless. James also quickly processed everything and I hopped back on a ferry within the hour.

I had a great experience shopping for and buying my 2018 Prius - James McGunigal couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable and appreciated his many email replies (and a couple phone calls) before I drove up from Victoria to test drive then purchase. He as well took the time to go through all the features in this "Tech Package" Prius before driving off the lot - super helpful! Received the worst service/ customer service ever from the body shop and manager of the dealership. After they returned my brand new Tacoma with a bent frame then argued they did there job properly. Avoid these fraudulent unethical goofs

I had a problem with my car and they were able to get it fixed the same day. I had my dog with me, and they were able to let to stay in preowned were it was less stressful on my dog.

Nanaimo Toyota is the best dealership I've ever been in. From test drive to purchase and now 2 years worth of regular service appointments on our vehicle we have had nothing but first class treatment every time we walk in the door. Yesterday I went to get snow tires for my Durango. I was so impressed by the quick and effective service. Everyone was very helpful and always checking to see how I was doing. I've been to a lot of tire shops in my day but this was the best experience by far.

I recently bought Prius Prime 2020 from Nanaimo Toyota.
I was debating on if I should purchase 2019 or 2020, since there's a budget concern, Jeffery Kao who is kind enough to list all the pros and cons and help me with the final decision. I have a bunch of questions for him, and he gets back to me almost right away. You definitely want to purchase the car from the sales who knows the product very well and have more than a bit of car knowledge who will give you the most honest opinion. I am actually located in Vancouver, so it will take me 3 hour round trip to take the ferry to get my car. But I think the overall experience was worthing it. Jeffery is definitely a sales you want to go for if you are local. I am in love with my Prius Prime 2020, still full tank of gas after driving 1038 KM mileage and thanks to Jeffery Kao.

Elisabeth was so easy to deal with and was very kind and honest. I really appreciated Justin working with us and answering all of our many questions about financing and different options. I feel like we really got the best possible rate with Justin. After hearing that we were lied to about ordering a new rav4 from an out of town dealership, Rick welcomed us back to Nanaimo Toyota, where we had previously test drove a non-hybrid rav4. Rick explained the process to us and told us he for sure had exactly what we wanted to buy coming in soon. We would never have expected it to be 100% exact, but Rick's estimate on the ETA of our new rav4 was exact to the date :) Don't waste your time, go to Nanaimo Toyota instead!

The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is an amazing car that basically sells itself. However, the employees at Nanaimo Toyota helped us to learn the finer points of the vehicle in a very professional manner. We bought and took the car home with us in the same afternoon--thanks!! The only suggestion I have is to put better lighting in the car "pickup area," as there was a spot that needed to be buffed out from the cleaning, but we did not see that spot in the lighting that was inside the building--we only saw it after we arrived home. Once our salesmen, Jeffery, learned of the spot on the hood, he arranged to have us come in and have it buffed out.

The sales staff, especially Paul DeBron, are so professional, knowledgable and genuinely care about you and your needs. They also have a pretty great selection of new and used cars. I have been there many times over the years for oil changes etc. and bought my current car from them. I have only ever had very good experiences there and i will continue to go back to them in the future for any of my needs.

My salesman Doug took that level of customer service and built on it. He was very friendly and professional. He made buying a vehicle a real pleasure! We were in the market for a new vehicle after discovering the one we'd purchased in Vancouver had serious issues. After scouring the ads online, I saw a minivan I thought would be a good fit for us. I contacted the dealership, and in no time got a response from Alan in the used sales department. After exchanging a few emails, he knew exactly what we wanted in a vehicle and followed up with us a few days later to let us know that there was one on the lot that might suit us perfectly;
A few days later, we were driving home to Port Alberni from Victoria when I got an email from Alan letting me know the van had been reduced in price for a quick sale. We decided to swing by and take a look at it, kick the tires, take it for a test drive. Alan was great, absolutely no pressure to buy the van. He left us alone to discuss it and after a chat, we decided to go for it.
Not only did they fill the tank, they threw in new floor mats, they'd replaced the brakes, detailed the vehicle top to bottom and gave us some extras - my choice of a bluetooth speaker, an umbrella and a backup battery charger for my phone. Being on the island I of course went for the umbrella! They're even giving us a free oil change in six months' time.

Our experience at Nanaimo Toyota was really great. We had to come from a long way to view the vehicle that we were interested in and the young salesman Justin Empson was really great to deal with by e-mail, on the phone and in person. Justin is like a fresh wind from the east coast. He is quietly confident, extremely knowledgeable and he served us with transparency, brightness and politeness. Justin tried and tested everything before we got there and delivered exactly what he said he would. Justin is backed up by a great team including; the excellent and accessible sales manager Dallas and the charming and very helpful Colleen in finance. The other salesmen we met (Donald and others) were also really helpful and pleasant. No weird, stressful mind games here. This is a quality crew and a very satisfying place to buy a previously owned vehicle.
