I had one of the most pleasant, stress-free, and enjoyable experiences at Maple Ridge Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Shakir Nikjo was the salesperson helping me; I'm actually from Vancouver Island and made the trip to Maple Ridge to look at a Jeep Patriot. Shak made sure my trip was worth it. He texted me photos before I came and gave me information regarding the car and pricing before I even set foot on the ferry. When he asked how my trip over was, he also told me that they would be paying for my ferry fare, which was completely unexpected. The negotiation process was easy and like I said, stress-free. I had a great time while I was there; it didn't feel exhausting like it can be at some dealerships. Their gift with purchase is such a great added bonus as well!!

Zachary Phillips, their finance manager, went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the best rate and was spending my money on what actually matters to me, rather than frivolous extras that aren't really applicable to a used vehicle (for example, buying extended warranty rather than exterior detailing since I don't put tons of kilometres on my vehicles).

Everyone at this dealership is very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this dealership and their staff to all of my family and friends!

“Superb service delivered by friendly knowledgeable people who care”

This is the sign that hangs above the service reception desk at Maple Ridge Chrysler.
But is the service really “superb”?
I don’t think so. The level of customer service has gone down hill tremendously even just in 1 short year.

We purchased a mini van last summer with the expectation of at the very minimum a complementary vacuuming of the vehicle with service appointment. The exterior wash was nice too, but please just make it look nice inside. Was that not a perk we all appreciated? Otherwise, a standard oil change is extremely more convenient at Mr.Lube. Drive in, drive out, watch them work all in 20 minutes or less.

Appointments here are booked In advance and typically since coming here- if the appointment was long you would be sent on your way in a loaner vehicle. Great service, maybe even “superb”.
Well, they have scrapped the loaner vehicles and now you have to sit and wait- or be shuttled home. Going home is great- but how am I suppose to pick up my kids from school and get them to their activities?
Oh, now you pay $40 for a rental and you’ll be on your way.
NO. I purchased my vehicle here BECAUSE they vacuumed them, washed them and loaned them. But now they don’t and that is supposed to be acceptable.

Today I’m here for warranty work, ontop of the prepaid VIP oil change. So what makes an oil change VIP? Well, getting your money in advance- rolled into your vehicle loan paying the premium interest rate, that’s about it. I’ve calculated the cost of oil changes vs. VIP oil changes and we actually ended up paying more for this “money saving option”.
They said tire rotations were included when we signed the paper work- but upon our first VIP visit- that wasn’t the case. A manager came and “added it in” but that’s not how it should have been as we already paid for that- with interest.

The appointment I made was for 9:15AM, at the very latest- I have to leave by 2PM to get my kids from school. The person who booked the appointment told me this was more than enough time to change my oil, rotate my tires, and address my electrical problem (which was “fixed” months ago). The doors on one side don’t lock/unlock with the rest of the vehicle. Cool- come rummage through my van while I’m shopping and assume my doors are locked. I’m sure you’ll find some nice snacks left by my kids- or a sweater or 2 if you’re cold.
Now that they’ve established that my appointment will exceed my availability, today I only get my oil change. I get to come back another time for my warranty work.

As I sit in the lobby waiting for my vehicle to be finished, drinking my free coffee from the lobby- I’m wondering if there will be a charge for the coffee upon my next visit as all of the “perks” are disappearing.

A week ago my family and I went here to look for a new van. I normally hate this kind of thing cause I can’t stand salespeople. But this place definitely had a different feel to it than most.

We were greeted a few minutes in by a real great guy named Carson. He wasn’t pushy or abrasive but rather easy going and quite genuine. He asked us a couple questions regarding what kind of vehicle we were looking for and then brought us over to an almost exact match. We were very specific in what we wanted and it was only because of the high volume of inventory that these guys had what we were looking for.

We went to sit down to hash out the details which is usually one of my least favourite parts of the whole experience, but not before Carson offered us some lunch from the barbecue station 🌭👍🏽.

At no point during the negotiating did I feel like it was us against them. In fact, I really felt like they were fighting for me as they ended up offering us more than what I would have even considered asking.

All in all, this was the best vehicle buying experience I’ve ever had. I am so happy with the purchase, the price, the interest rate that Shane from finance was able to renegotiate for us and the people that work here.

There was a promotion advertised by NEWS1130 (book a test drive and receive Amazon $50 gift certificate). I went online to book a test drive. They called back in 2 minutes! Booked a visit in AM on Friday. In 2 days they made 4 or 5 calls with reminders (VERY ANNOYING).
However, when we showed up on time the salesman was not there! 30 minutes passed - still waiting. Finally a trainee decided to help us. She was very nice and polite, but not too knowledgeable, which we sort of expected from a trainee. Not a big deal as I came just because of promotion.
My wife all of a sudden decided that she likes new Jeep we drove and wanted to discuss it further. There was not one she wanted available to try, so saleswoman offered to bring it from other dealership if we put $500 refundable deposit. My wife agreed as she liked listed SUV features. However, a sales manager came over and started to push my wife to commit to a deal as "it will cost them money to bring a car over". Imagine that - commit to a deal to buy $50K SUV without actually seen one and driving one! What a joke.
BTW, despite me calling them several times about the promised gift certificate I got nothing. Lots of lame excuses, that's all I got from them.

Impression: they act like politicians - they lie, don't keep promises, steal your time and money, etc. Do you trust fake politicians? I don't

UPDATE in response to management reply: Well, we did call the manager, left 2-3 messages - no answer, no reply. Talked to a couple of people on the phone and got very vague, elusive and contradictory answers. This confirmed my impression of MR Chrysler as a not trustworthy dealership.

Aaron the sales man was fantastic, had me in my new truck in no time. Got me what I was looking for even went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the truck a few months later. Quite happy with how I was treated and in the end Maple Ridge Chrysler was a good place to buy me new truck. Wow, this dealership deserves nothing less than 5 stars. Our salesman, Fred and the rest of the team were very accommodating for my wife and I while buying our new Ram 1500. We had a very tight budget, as well as another car loan already and they did everything to get us the numbers we needed to purchase our truck. I shared my needs vehicle wise, and to my surprise he never tried to steer or push me into something that did not meet my needs. My 2013 Journey had several issues, and John was friendly, courteous, and thorough from start to finish, I hesitated to bring up some issues because they seemed so trivial, but John took full responsibility and assured me that he would look after all the problems I mentioned. I waited in the dealership, and John kept me updated on what was going on and let me know when the ETA changed (for understandable reasons).

While I was there, my car was detailed in addition to some warranty work, and while there was still some dust on the dashboard and some crumbs (from kids) in the back seat, overall, they did a great job.

I was in the market for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have dealt with many dealerships in the past over several manufacturers. This in particular was our fourth Jeep purchase and my first experience with Maple Ridge Chrysler. I heavily researched online across multiple dealers in the Vancouver area.
