Dont buy a car from these thieves. I agreed on a price then they gave me a copy of my agreement with a price 10000 higher then what i agreed on. I think they are pocketing peoples down payments and cash rebates for themselves.
I don't usually write reviews but feel I need to in this case. I am extremely disappointed with this dealership. I was recommended by a very good friend of mine since she and her friend had just purchased a vehicle from here. So I contacted the sales person they dealt with. Let him know what I was looking for. Gave him all my finance info. You would think that after a week they would have something to tell me. The person I was dealing with avoided my calls, like he was refusing to speak to me. When he did answer my call, which one only twice in a week, he still was waiting. When I said I don't really need all the bells and whistles for a vehicle. but he kept pushing to sell me one that really wasn't necessary. So after having my financial info for over a week and no communication I called to say cancel/forget the deal I was going somewhere else and he couldn't even take my call to try to have me not kill the deal. Very poor communication.
Aly and Nathan are an amazing pair. They worked very hard to get me my new vehicle. The work around your budget. They are not the typical car salesmen. They’re more about making sure you get what you want without pushing you into something else

I just got my first car (Mitsubishi eclipse) second hand and I phone asking about reprogramming a spare key I was given with the car, they quoted me $60 and a 25 minute wait. I arrived a little early and he Immediately used multiple sale tactics to pressure me into paying more for parts I don’t need. I also decided (after he talked me into it) to get a new cover for my original key. After talking to me, he tells us it will take 1 hour. I leave and head to mall across the road. I returned an hour later only to be told that they where unable to program the spare key, then hands me a bill for $115.03.... he the asked us about purchasing a new spar key for $300 multiple times. The only thing I left with is a plastic key cover. I ask about the bill as I didn’t get the product, he then told me that he’d only charged me $29.95 for the failed programming. My expectations where not meet is an understatement. I left without what I originally came there for, as well as paid almost twice the amount.
If I could give it zero stars I would. This being the first and last time this 17 year old female will go to Mitsubishi Nanaimo.

Salesman Court was pretty much useless. Told me a was pre-approved for the type of vehicle I wanted then tried to offer me exactly what I didn't want...drove up from Victoria for nothing...waste of time. Typical used car shysters in every way.
Very inconsistent. Will be very nice until they get the sale. Then after that, they don't care how they treat you. Will be rude. Say things then not deliver on them. On top of that say I never agreed to that! It is not on the paper work. Will include things in sale then turn around and charge for it. Say well this part of it is free but the rest still needs to be paid. Worst experience. If it is a bad time and lies you are looking for you found the right place. If could give zero stars I would. As that is what they deserve.
I couldn't be happier with the team, my sells rep and the vehicle we got for our family! These guys went over and beyond helping us find our unicorn. Perfect van for us all, all the special features including DVD for the kids and got me the best interest rate quoted on the whole island. I would recommend these guys to every family out there. A very pleasant experience... I was picked up at home in James Bay, driven to dealership in Nanaimo, given three test drives (including thorough description of key features of each vehicle), clear concise answers to any questions, met by other staff members with courtesy and concern, other customers ranged in age from young couples to the gray-haired set (myself included). Paperwork was a breeze, dotted the i*s and crossed the t*s, documents signed and out before sundown!
I always get great service in the service department. My car is ready when they tell me it will be. Friendly and they go over things with me. Best service from a car dealership service department.
Super awesome experience. This was my second vehicle purchase with these guys and both times I was fortunate to deal with Hermon N and his colleagues Eric, and Liam. Bought myself a beautiful new truck. It was exactly what I was looking for!! Fast service and friendly atmosphere, everyone had a smile on their face. Hermon N even came in on his day off just to make sure the transaction went smoothly. I got a great trade in price for my car and a full tank of gas in my new truck( with these gas prices I am sure it was worth about $1,500 😆)!! I highly recommend these guys and if you are in the market for a new vehicle go in and see them.. The dealership itself I would rate neutral but I dealt with Courtney in the sales dept and he was great so I gave a 5 star rating. A few dealerships are shady and try to sell you a lemon but he was very upfront and seemed to want to get me the best vehicle for me. He didn't try to push any car, but gave me the options and was super informative.
Tai was super friendly and helpful. AND! we found the most perfect car. The process was quick easy. Ten outta Ten. Would recommend Tai.

Bought a SUV 6 months ago from this dealership. Got great service and even delivered me the vehicle. My credit was not great but they worked it out . Now they , Eric, contacted me and said they can save me thousands by getting me a better rate. So I went in and was welcomed as if I’ve known them for years . Very friendly. So anyway I came in thinking refinancing but left with a 2019 eclipse cross . 7 year warranty and it has all the features I wanted and then some. The best part is I’m in a way better interest rate . I’m very pleased and recommend this dealership. I’ve had new vehicles in the past , but I’ve never had a dealership contact me to better my budget. Truly a caring company. Cheers and thanks Eric.😎

I love my 2017 RVR and thanks to Chad and Des I got an amazing deal! I keep finding excuses to go out just so I can drive my new car. Now I feel much better having my children in a more safe and reliable vehicle!
The service department is the best in town and other dealerships should take notes.
The dashed department however was better when it was owned by Harris. Ever since it switched I'm constantly getting phone calls for trades, my info on the computer is always wrong, and they still call me about my vehicle I traded in years ago.
If the rest of the company was as together as the service department is, I would rate them 5 stars.
Also if I wasn't such a big fan of Mitsubishi, I'd go but a Kia to not deal with their salesmen.

DO NOT BUY HERE. Nanaimo Mitsubishi tarnished any chance of a pleasant buying experience. The salesman were crass, making loud and inappropriate jokes/comments intentionally to be heard by myself. The lack of professionalism was unsubtle. After purchasing, my car salesman sent "welcoming me to the family" text. Innocent. Then came the unsolicited messages of 1.) asking me out and 2.) (a month later) inviting me to a sales managers party. Both declined- what a line to cross with a customer. I did not receive my paperwork for some time, with the then finance manager avoiding my calls/not returning my messages.After numerous attempts to get a physical copy of my paperwork, I received a cryptic phone call from an Alberta number stating they were with Nanaimo Mitsubishi, and wanted to know my interest rate.They were rude and hung up on me when I wouldn't relay. After this, I went into the dealership. The new finance manager Devon was incredibly helpful and concerned, getting my paperwork within the day (this had taken 6 months unsuccessfully?) I reviewed what I had signed...but this time with a clear head free from the uncomfortable feeling I felt during the purchase of my vehicle. This was a scam deal, and it was signed under duress. I sought legal advice and then contacted the Dealer Principal. He met with me and was *seemingly* receptive.I expressed my lack of trust for the way they run their business. For the ill use of my phone number, he stated it would be dealt with but not before saying he wasn't sure if maybe I had made it seem ok to text me these things? My contract worksheet was apparently held at Nissan so he said he would review and follow up with me within the week. This never happened. I have reached out numerous times, each time being ignored. It has been 3 months now with no reply. The disrespect and dishonesty from this dealership is horrendous. I love my Mitsubishi...but never buy here.

Just bought a 2014 Rav 4 from Charlie at Nanaimo Mitsubishi. After walking many lots all over the island and communicating with multiple “sleazy” salesmen, it was really refreshing to deal with someone as straight shooting, funny and pleasant as Charlie. We didn’t feel any uneasiness at all. He stayed way past closing in order to help us buy the car I’d been looking for for over a month. My mom and I were both really happy with our service from Charlie, and would recommend him again in a heart beat.

The buying and completing paperwork was fine...we got cahs back and they said 4 days. And we are yet to receive and cheque....after almost 2 weeks. We have explained our situation 4 times and they have no sympathy towards it. We need that cash to pay our bills and we made payment arrangements for them a few days after we were supposed to receive the cheque.... Now our bills are behind because they did not go through with their promise (which yes was written on the agreement)

Test drove a car with Herman and when I ended up going with Nissan instead because I got a better deal he sent me a very rude email basically saying he hates customers like me who waste his time and there was inappropriate profanity used. I ended up sending the email to the Canadian Head office who said his behavior was unacceptable and promised to reprimand... but he is now promoted to manager. Disgusting. Watch out Nanaimo... he is nice but only if you make a deal...if the gloves come off....
Trying to sell my vehicle privately and in 1 week I've been contacted by 4 salesman from your dealership and 1 from your parent company. Not illegal for you to pose as a potential buyer to then find out you're salesmen fishing for a trade in on purchase at your dealership, but also not very nice. So here's a 1 star rating and I'll make you a deal, if I don't hear from anyone there again before my vehicle is sold I'll remove it, but otherwise it stays
I have bought three vehicles from this location and each purchase has gotten progressively worse. Sales and finance have trouble communicating with each other, sales people are super pushy and manipulative and often promise things that they can’t really deliver on. The only reason I am rating them three stars instead of one is because of the amazing service department.
My experience with Mitsu has been a little rocky, but in the end I feel I've been taken care of appropriately. Taylor was straightforward and easy to deal with, an absolute pleasure, and Justin turned an increasingly negative experience into a good one. I'm happy with the vehicle I've purchased and will likely be back.

On April 25th the wife and I bought a beautiful "2011 Outlander" from Harris Mitsubishi.
Our salesman "Clark" was outstanding, he explained all the features, and arranged for our test drive. The whole staff was in my words "Fabulous". The manager Kevin, took care of all the details for getting our trailer hitch installed, he even detailed the car so it like a new one, ( we walked past it the first time as did not believe it was the same car) the Finance guy "Doug" made the experience of purchasing a slightly used car like we were purchasing a brand new one, he treated us with respect also.
Almost forgot the guys in the Service Dept. they did a great job doing the undercoating to be sure our vehicle will last even longer> thanks guys you make a great team.
I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone.
