Went to Gary Mazda to do a service for my 2016 Mazda cx-5, this is the first time i had a service at this dealer, and the overall experience was fantastic! The service took a little bit longer than normal because they washed my car, and wanted to wait it dry before send the vicle out in a blizzrd day. They did this above beyond! After the service, they even offered me a preferred price card in order to apologize for the service they did above and beyond! The little thing goes a long way! I would definitely go back to this place next time!

Nice location. My only suggestion is that I hope they have a better program/software for retrieving information about parts that was purchased from them. I was returning an old mazda battery I bought from them 3 years ago that is not working now but I wasn’t given the payout because I can’t find my receipt. Like other stores they can retrieve the purchase history that is connected to your number, name or to vehicles you purchased from them just in case receipt was lost for some reason. Come on It’s 2021.

My wife and I was looking for a used vehicle with a certain payment budget. And after shopping around at Waverley auto mall, We went to Gerry Gordon`s Mazda and looking around. I was kind of 'just looking' there, my sales Kyle came here and we told him that we have certain budget and did not see any used car that we want. But he told me that he might put us into a brand new red Mazda 3 which my wife loves the style and saves tons of interest. Second day we came back for test drive, and vehicle was beautiful and nice driving feeling. Negotiation part was easy and relax, Kyle never pushed us for making decision. Through all this easy buying feeling, he made our budget working. And finance manager Christian was fantastic and he is so friendly, he gave us a great rate and we purchased tire and rim warranty. I bought a used CX5 in the fall and had a very mixed experience. I initially was reluctant to purchase a used car from a dealership because of my assumptions of having to deal with annoying sales/negotiating tactics, but my husband and I really liked the sales person, Kyle. He was honest and attentive, without being pushy. I really appreciated getting the heads-up about an upcoming trade-in that fit what I was looking for, and the price quoted seemed very fair. That was when my positive ended - when we came into finalize the paperwork I was very surprised and disappointed with the negotiation tactics used by the sales manager. From a low-ball trade-in offer to being charged an extra $500 "security transfer fee" that was not included in the price, to annoying back and forth dealings and weird pressure tactics, I was highly unimpressed. My husband was able to negotiate a more reasonable trade-in value, but the push back we got on the "security transfer fee" and "splitting the difference" was ridiculous. I seriously considered walking away at that point, but knew it was a good car and a decent price. After researching the fee at home, I was livid to find out that under Motor Vehicle Advertising and Information Consumer Protection, that extra fee couldn't even be charged. The sales manager did make it right after I expressed my concerns in writing, and I do love my vehicle, but the process was not enjoyable. In contrast, my husband recently purchased a used vehicle through McPhillips Toyota and we had a fabulous experience with everyone being extremely personable, fair, upfront and more than accommodating from start to finish.

All of my experiences with GG Mazda were good until I went in for my last service. I've only had my SUV for 8m now and found there were issues the vehicle shouldn't be having in cold weather.. I was totally dismissed by the service technician and given excuses as to why things couldn't be resolved. Not thrilled at this point with them or the CX-5. If you don't have a heated garage, you might want to opt for a different make. The CX-5 is fantastic until -23 then I'd say it was just ok.

So, we had very bad experience with them! We bought vehicle from them & we went to pick up the vehicle there was a issue with a GPS SCREEN, so we ask them to fix the issue before we take the vehicle home.it took them 3days to figure it out what they will do & conclusion came to it will be replaced because it's not fixable.
They replaced the screen with aftermarket screen which cost is ($300) not with original & the cost is($5000).when my husband said you guys took the original out & put the aftermarket in without even asking me? Manager said "it will work fine don't worry about it".
We rejected to accept the vehicle & they still have it in there stock. I just want people to be aware now they are selling for more price.
We bought it for ($15,999) now they are selling for ($16,899)

I am a first time vehicle buyer and the team at Gerry Gordon's Mazda helped to make it an excellent experience. The sales staff really listened to what I was looking for, and made great recommendations based on the information I gave without being pushy.

The sales associate I worked with is really passionate and knowledgeable about the Mazda brand, and he was great about answering the many questions I sent him via email over the course of a couple weeks in a prompt and helpful way.

Various staff members I talked to expressed how much they enjoyed working for a family-owned company, and as someone who works for a family owned company myself, all their comments rang very genuine and I felt good about supporting this business.

I am looking forward to taking my new Mazda 3 back to Gerry Gordon's Mazda for its service needs in the future.

I had gone to go get some recalls done on my vehicle and when They had to return my car at the end of the appointment they had to return my car at the end of the appointment, my cars Paint was blown off by the pressure washer paint was blown off by the pressure washer on the front hood, they proceeded to tell me that it was not their fault because my car had already had some chips on it but in the 2 year I had own the car I have never blown off paint while washing my car even though I had chips on it the paint was Destroyed destroyed they denied that it was them I would not let me see the cameras to prove my innocence, all the did was give me a canna spray paint that matched and told me that I’m better of finding parts at a I Scrapyard. The level of disrespect I had received was off putting, if you didn’t buy a new car from them they don’t care about you I highly recommend going to any other Mazda dealership I highly recommend going to any other Mazda dealership to get work done

Inquired about a used car via email and got a quick response. After drive while talking with salesman about car and creating friendly banter he seemed to not be having any of it. He then said some of the most unprofessional stuff I have ever heard that should not come be during a sale. As I was leaving the lot I called Crown Mazda, dealt with them and was a night and day difference. Everyone at Crown was professional and willing to help wherever they could. Gerry Gordons salesman never emailed or called me to follow up unlike all the other dealerships I was dealing with over this time. I guess they did not want my money. Needless to say I spent it elsewhere.

I must say the senior sales staff are excellent - Clive and Dave have both been great over the years, but the upper management has deteriorated the experience by mandating certain tactics.

Ended up buying our second brand new Mazda from Crown for a better price.

They did not charge a $499 “security transfer fee” that is known to be a ripoff - just Google it. Offered an embarrassing trade in price on our old vehicle that we knew the value of and ended up getting (from elsewhere). Was washy about getting the colour combo we wanted saying we’d have to pay to ship from another dealer ($5-600 more into their pocket) when after doing some searching found out that wouldn’t be happening and they’d actually wait for one from Mazda’s plant in Mexico - hence the “month or so” to ship.

Considering this would be the second brand new, top trim Mazda within 5 years from Gerry’s, it was a bit surprising that this was the result.

Honestly though - no bad things to say about the sales staff - but from the sales manager upwards I’m not impressed.

The CX-30 that we ended up getting from Crown is excellent, so there’s nothing bad to say about the brand either - we love our Mazda’s!

If you do not have a trade Gerry Gordon's will suffice
BUT if you have a trade in. I urge you to go to Crown Mazda and here's a quick summary of why

Was planning on trading in my vehicle for a new one. I am a thorough shopper so I usually stop by quite a few so I feel well informed. Here is a list of what I was offered before any negotiation of trade value. And whether they were willing to budge or not

Gerry Gordon's Mazda - offered 18,000, refused to negotiate on trade value

Crown Mazda, - offered 23,500, said could probably squeeze another few hundred out of the trade

Local GM dealer - offered 22,000, was willing to negotiate trade further

Local Hyundai dealer - offered 23,500, negotiated to 24,500

Local used car dealer - offered to match any trade value I've gotten thus far

Dealer where I ended up purchasing - offered 24,500, negotiated to let me keep my winter tires and rims and aftermarket accessories.

🚨 Stellar Service Shout-Out!

A few days ago, about 4,000 kilometers into a cross-country move from Alaska to Ontario, my check-engine light lit up just west of Winnipeg on the Trans-Canada Highway. I called Gerry’s Mazda and told them my predicament; Gerry the Service Advisor fit me in right away. Turns out it was just a loose gas cap 🤦‍♀️, but they took such great care, even allowing our two dogs to find comfort in their pet-friendly, air-conditioned waiting room, compete with a dog water bowl! 🐾🐾 To top it off, they washed the bugs and dirt off the car, leaving her shiny again. Thank you, most sincerely, for your kindness, integrity, and top-notch support; what a gem of a dealership and amazing, friendly team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Richard (Rick) Petroff. I have been dealing with Gerry Gordon Mazda now since 2004 and have never once had any complaints. My Audi A3 Technik's lease is up in a few months and I was in the market for a new sedan. After 4 years of research (and driving my wife nuts in the process, lol) it came down to two sedans. The 2019 Jetta GLI 35th Edition 7 spd or the 2019 Mazda 6 Signature in the Soul Red Crystal Metallic. As I was leaving the VW dealership, I was on my way to tell Rick that I was going to go with the Jetta (I figured it was the least I could do is tell him in person) but as I was leaving the VW dealership, a 2018 Mazda 6 Signature in the colour I was wanting, came zipping past me on St. James. It was absolutely stunning! When I got to Gerry Gordon's', I asked to take the 6 out for one more test drive to be sure. Yep, that final test drive sealed it. It was exactly the car I wanted. When I got back from the test drive, Rick and Gerry worked out a really great deal for me that I couldn't walk away from. Rick has always been like that though. He lets the car do the selling, doesn't pressure you and wants to make sure you are in the vehicle you want and can afford, not what the dealership is trying to push. Thanks again Rick and Gerry! Only 2 1/2 months until I get my factory ordered car!

Worst car buying experience of my life. First off, I have a busy job, two small kids and live outside the city so don't have alot of time to shop around and am very selective with my time. I only had 10min to look at the new Mazda3 before taking it home the night before as they were closing (there wasn't time to try out all the features). Salesperson had assured me it was plenty of time to do the purchase. I found out she misinformed me about several of the features included in the vehicle and when I called her on it the morning after, she denied it all. So I called the sales manager Dan who, not only told me there was no way she could have said this but also told me I was making everyone have a bad day (his words) but also yelled at me before offering me a coffee for my troubles. Leadership fail #1. I asked for the contact info of the owner and/or GM which he never gave me. Leadership fail #2. I did not get the value I agreed for when signing the papers. Live and learn. Next time I'll read the online reviews.

Edit1: How about you call me? That would be a start.

Edit2: It's been over 2 months now and still no proposed solution via a simple phone call or email. After all this, I have to say that I expected as much.

I went to test drive a new Mazda 3 GS-SKY 6 Speed Manual Sedan, I have been a life long Honda/Acura customer, I was looking at replacing my Civic with a new Honda Accord, The Accord is my favorite car but a bit to much for my price range at the time so I compared the new Mazda 3 to a new Honda Civic since they were both within my price range. I was approached right away upon my arrival on the lot looking for a Manual Mazda 3 GS-SKY, they got me in a car right away for a test drive, I was very impressed at the knowledge of the sales team (as I have a good automotive knowledge-base myself I knew they were accurate and had the right facts) it was late in the afternoon when I decided it was the winner of my comparison I decided to trade my car in and get the new Mazda 3, I applied for Financing in the late evening just before close, The next morning I got an e-mail saying I was approved without the need for a co-signer. My friend also told me of her interest in buying my Civic, I called the dealership and asked them if they would be able to sell her my old Civic for wholesale, they put it aside for her. My Civic was rear ended a few months back with some slight cosmetic damage, MPI covered it completely and it was to be repaired by Crown Honda on McPhillips. Gerry Gordon's Mazda gave me a rental car covered by MPI (didn't have to pay anything just fill the tank back up from the fuel I used) while they prepared my new Mazda, they got it ready very quickly, the car was clean and has been nothing but a Gem & Treasure since I got it. They picked up my Civic from Crown Honda for me and picked up my friend and I from her place to go pick it up when it was ready, They sold it to her Wholesale as I had asked and safetied it for her (again for whole sale price, all in all it cost less than $500 for the safety and inspection, a complete detail, an oil change and 4 wheel alignment) I am extremely satisfied with the Sales & Financing Departments at Gerry Gordon's Mazda! I don't know any other dealership that would have sold a trade in at wholesale for a close friend of one of their customers. I am very impressed with this level of service. I have not had to use the service department yet as my car is still very new, and I do my most of my maintenance (changing the oil, filter, spark plugs) However I am very pleased with the Sales & Financing! Very Excellent!
