I can understand people are busy, i am. That's specifically why i scheduled an appointment with them for a test drive. Nobody show up at our appointment, after a while i asked if somebody will honor the appointment, turns out the guy was in the show room but didn't care to say hi or let me know it will be a little longer. It's the second time with them that i realize it's a mistake to consider them. Do yourself a favor, with the kind of money you're ready to spend go somewhere they welcome you.... Imagine when it will come to service. I never wrote reviews, my first time but i think it's worth it. Go elsewhere!

I don’t generally leave bad reviews …. However Park Ave., Volkswagen has to have one of the worst service departments on the south shore of Montreal. I recently brought my Volkswagen Golf for servicing because I’ve been having some grinding noises from the front of the car when I go over speed bumps or dips in the road. Upon arriving st the service centre I explained the issue to the service rep along with a video with the noise, they proceeded to do a road test to reproduce the sound but were not able to reproduce the sound through their “Road testing.” The service rep comes back and tells me that I have stuff in my trunk of my car which could be causing the sound from stuff moving around lol The fact that he would even say that baffles me but then again they will use any excuse in the book to avoid servicing a vehicle that actually has an issue. He explains to me that there is nothing that they can do and that they won’t charge me “this time” because they couldn’t find the noise but next time they would charge me…and I’m slow under the 120,000 extended warranty

Moreover, I went to Arbour Volkswagen in Laval on October 6 and I left a vehicle there for three hours and the problem was identified as the front front suspension bushings. They were replaced and now the noise has completely gone away!!

This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience with Park Avenue Volkswagen…..I’ve had several Volkswagen vehicles over the years and every time I have a problem and I bring the car in I feel like I’m on trial and have to prove everything I can to them that there is in-fact something wrong with my car.

Additionally having this issue that I had on my car, I did some research beforehand and stumbled on Reddit and found that other Volkswagen golf owners were experiencing similar issues and that it was related to bushings. I had I informed the service rep and technician of this and they literally did nothing, not even investigate the bushings just In case.

In conclusion although I am not located in Laval and I am located on the south shore of Montreal I will continue to take my vehicle to Arbour Volkswagen because they have absolutely impeccable service and the mechanics know how to identify mechanical issues with their vehicles!! That is great service!!

I highly recommend your hire new mechanics or train them how to do their job better or don’t offering servicing at all

By far the absolute worst service I've ever experienced with a car. I've owned an infinity, bmw, audi, and Honda. I've never had issues, from day 1 at VW its been problems. Don't get me wrong some of the people are nice but everyday I regret buying a car from them. After service has been even more of a nightmare No one ever answers the phone or calls you back. I held back on this review but at this point enough is enough.

I visited Park Avenue Volkswagen on April 1, 2021 for a regular maintenance. When I went to pick up my car, I was greeted by Andréa Gauthier Moreno and we started talking about maybe getting a new car. Andréa was not at all pushy like some other people I've dealt with in the downtown location. She was very patient & very informative. She showed me all my options and went to talk to the Manager to see what else they can do for me. We stayed there even after closure time. I was very impressed! I ended up getting a new car & also had the chance to meet Jovana Allard (Financial Manager) to finalize some documents. Jovana was also very welcoming & informative with the options to protect my car. The next day I ended up having 1 issue and it was in regards the payment for my old car so I called Jovana to advise her of the situation. Jovana spoke to the store manager and they literally solved my issue! Honestly just WOW! The fact that Andréa, Jovana & store Manager stayed past closure time and made the impossible possible is what impressed me! I highly recommend this place as they are honest, they don't try to trick & they always end up finding a solution for you! Well for me they did :) . I went recently for tire swapping. I was worried when some marks on the car were not gone even after latest car wash at gas station.
The service desk manager was kind enough to clean dirt spots on my new Jetta himself(he didn't had to) . Told me oil change is not needed when the car was showing error. Answered all my questions. All in all a very good experience.

I have been going to this dealership since my Volkswagen purchase in 2012. Despite being pricier for maintenance, repairs and essentially anything offered at a discounted garage like Midas or Mr. Lube, I have never had a subsequent problem with my vehicle post visit. My personal interpretation of this is that you may pay more, but you don't get screwed by a mechanic who either doesn't know what they're doing or tampers with your vehicle.

Two times I've scheduled a appointment with them to test drive a used car and both times... the car was already sold when I arrived. They never bothered to tell me even though I talked with a representative a couple of hours before.

This is probably the worst customer service experience I have had in my entire life. Let me correct that, the experience to purchase a car was fine up until I signed the contract. I went from the excitement of buying a vehicle to the desolation of having bought it in your dealership.

First, I received my car with pretty much no gas in it, broken windshield wipers (after being told you had spent over 1,000$ for overall maintenance of the car) and no windshield washer. So my first stop leaving your dealership was to put gas in my car and buy windshield wipers and washer. Pretty good service, no?

Then, I had purchased a vehicle for which I paid for an extra key I was supposed to receive the following week. I called your financial director who told me that the key was ordered and got lost, and that she ordered a new key to be delivered 5 days later. I called back a week later, only to learn that the person left the company and her replacement had no idea what my request was about. I was forwarded to all your existing departments (customer services, pieces, used vehicles) to finally learn that the paid key has never been ordered. My call was then forwarded to the sales director, who obviously, does not bother to take his calls nor his voice messages, since I left 3 voice messages in 2 weeks. Finally, I learnt from my sales rep that there have been problems in the order between your different departments internally and that they have to see who has to take care of it on their side before they can order it.

How should your governance and responsibilities issues impact your customer experience? How come it took over a month to get an additional key? Not to mention the exacerbated lack of professionalism in communications between your employees and your customer, and your broken engagements.

This is the last time I'm doing business with your company, and believe me I'm going to make sure to spread the word about your incompetence and disrespect towards your customers, who it seems you have forgotten, are the reason for your existence. I apologize for being one of them.

Wonderful experience last year when we purchased the car, however it has been down hill from there! Brought our vehicle in for a tire change to be told we should have an alignment done as well since there was a promotion. When I asked what that was exactly, I was told by the person taking the appointment "I'm not sure, but its not much more expensive". Fast forward to paying $100 for an alignment when we picked up the car, and a report showing the "before and after" of the alignment which clearly didn't need to be done since almost no changes were made, and the car is 1 year old with 6,000 km. Called customer service of Volkswagen Canada to be told that we should be "more weary of people" and not trust their employees...not impressed! It seems once the purchase is done the service teams don't put any care into their after sale service.

Notre véhicule roule très bien et bénéficie d'une certification volks. Nous roulons avec confiance et sommes très satisfaits de notre achat et des conditions de la vente. Nous devions revenir le samedi suivant pour prendre possesion du véhicule puisque nous travaillons la semaine. Malgré qu'il ne travaillait pas ce samedi et avait des plans familiaux, Philippe s'est tout de même présenté le samedi matin, avec sa famille, pour compléter la vente et nous remettre les clés du véhicule.
