Client services sucks!!!
They made so many mistakes (on price, mixed our file with another customer).
They were suppose to store my tires, they charged me and then they asked me to picked them up.
They were suppose to get my quebec license document...it’s been over a month and I still didn’t get them.
We had to do so many follow ups to get information on basic stuff.
Worst experience ever!

On may 6th brought my vehical in for service in my power window. First they forgot or lost the appointment I made a week in advance. Call for an update around 3 and was told my car was just brought in the shop. Get off work at 4 get a ride there and call again for an update and was told the issue might be electrical and the tech is still looking into the issue. I asked to and confirm my car is being worked on this moment and the door panel is off and was told yes. I asked how is that possible when I was standing outside the dealership next to my car looking in the window?. They were gonna charge me 230 bucks for the diagnostic they never performed. I filed a complaint with Volkswagen Canada and the service department is now trying to claiming they were confused which car was in the shop, so now I have the Better Business Beaure involved. Be careful if you bring your vehical here for service.

My only complaint was the lack of inventory, which I was told was due to supply from Germany. Unfortunately very disappointed with the service . Just went in with my husband and kids looking to buy a new family car!! We were not acknowledged once. One gentleman came by to ask if we had an appointment and when I said no and asked if we needed one he said no and walked away....!!?! I guess it’s best to book an appointment to feel welcomed?! I couldn’t stay silent since this didn’t sit well with me. I bought my son's 07 Rabbit in May 2018 and it was still under rust warranty. Previously my son had it assessed for rust repair. In November 2017 and in April 2018; we were still waiting for the approval. We contacted them countless times between then and all we got were very dismissive "Call back next week" answers from their staff. By end of April 2018; we were told that there were no records of the car's assessment in November 2017 and to bring it back. We were furious that we had to wait 6 months being constantly told "We are still waiting; call next week" without really checking. Again they were dismissive. We bring it in to be assessed. They assessed it and guaranteed that this time it was in their system. We were contacted in end of June 2018 stating that too much time has passed since the April assessment and VW wanted a re-assessment so we had to come in a 3rd time but they "reassured" us it wont be long since VW wants to fix it ASAP. We come in and we were talking to the Service Manager Greg Taylor. Greg said it should take 1 month max at this point and he promised he would personally take care of it. Months pass by; we call here and there and we are always pushed over with the generic "called in a few weeks" but November 2018 comes around and they book us in; they said everything that was submitted was covered and it would take a few days to have it fixed. After a little over a week; we were called in to check it out. My son lives nearby and looked at the car; The car got scratched while installing the new passenger fender, a rust spot was not fixed and they stated it was not approved (even though they previously said it was) and finally the trunk gate was painted so poorly with "fish eyes, orange peel and swirls" that it looked like garbage. The interior panel on the gate was also not installed corrected. All this was dismissed by Greg Taylor. He agreed to buff out the trunk gate but was trying to find excuses that the car was already scratched prior to delivery and wouldn’t even answer the interior part not putting and used it being "warped" as an excuse not offering to fix it. Its not warped and were told that only the interior clips needed to be replaced.

The reason for buying a new car is to enjoy the peace of mind and warranty of the new Car. their employees do not care for after sale service or their client satisfaction. Once you bought the car, you stuck with them. I bought a new car from them, I used the summer tires for only 3 months then I bought a new winter tires, when I tried to put my summer tires back, one of them had an issue that was identified as a result of road hazard. They informed me then that these tires has no warranty and I need to chase the manufacture my self, they did not give me any registration number for the product and refused to provide any real assistance, when I contacted the business manager who transferred to her boss, he said that he can not provide any help. I went to Costco to get the same tire, and for my luck, i found another person with the same road hazard issue with the same tire manufacturer, and of course, Costco was replacing this tire for free. I will not recommend these guys to anyone for the bad after sales service that they have.

When I was BUYING a car, they were great. Thereafter.... They've been a shining example of how NOT to provide customer service. I leased a brand new Golf GTI from them a month ago. When I picked it up, the rear rotor was rusted. I didn't notice until the next day, at which point I assumed the rust would go away with a little braking. It didn't. I emailed and was told to bring it in and they would see whether it was covered by the warranty. Not what I wanted to hear with a brand new car. I brought it in, with a 10:00 appointment. When I got there I was told they would "see if they could squeeze me in, since I had an appointment". That's not how appointments work. At 11:15 my car was still on the lot. At 11:45 the mechanic called me into the garage to discuss the issue. The first thing he said was "how long did you let it sit for?" I didn't, but thanks for blaming me. Since they didn't have a caliper in stock, I was told I would have to come back. An hour later my car was finally ready. In the end I waited three hours for a tire change, with an appointment. As soon as I drove off the lot, I got a low pressure warning on the front left tire, because it wasn't fully inflated. When I sent them a detailed email, explaining all the above and expressing my disappointment, I received no reply whatsoever. Attempted phone calls always lead to a voicemail. These people do not care one bit. They want the sale and once they've got it, they have no interest in offering any type of customer service whatsoever. I chose this dealership because they were the highest rated in Ottawa. After my experience I'm dumbfounded as to how that's possible. They're now in my top five all-time worst customer service experiences. In fairness, the guy at the parts counter was great, but friendly banter when buying floor mats isn't enough to make up for all their other failures.

I've had both positive and negative experiences at this dealership. I was looking for a replacement part for the ceiling of my car and asked someone working in the Parts department to help me identify the part so that a replacement could be ordered. Unfortunately, after showing the employee where the part was located, he broke it out of hastiness. To be fair, it is a cheap piece, but also a very important one as it secures the fabric to the ceiling of my VW van. I received no apology or acknowledgement from the employee regarding what he had just broke. The employee went on to tell me that it would be impossible to find the part. Thankfully, someone from the body shop was able to provide me with the correct information. I was able to find the parts on google with the information provided, but I still had to live with detached ceiling fabric until the parts arrived.

Awful service at body shop. My parents brought in a Volvo for collision repair, as the dealership stated these people are the bodyshop they deal with (same owner perhaps?) The fellow in charge is Scott Montgomery. What was initially supposed to take 2 weeks is now 4 weeks and counting. The guy have very poor interpersonal skills. When my mother asked about the replacement tires put on, he walked away. He is impatient, rude, and does not return calls. The other staff act in a manner similar to their boss - no one has a clue as to what is going on, will lie, one person will say one thing and the other something else. 4 promised deadlines were ignored, they claim they are waiting for parts, but then suddenly say the car is being washed for pick-up, when we call again, we are told they are are waiting for parts. Even by regular mail it does not take 3 weeks for parts to arrive. My insurance company tried calling them to find out what is going on, and I was told they were on hold for 10 minutes, then disconnected. My concern is that they are going to do a botch-job on the car. My insurance company stated they will be sending an appraiser to find out what these clowns are doing.

There are numerous negative comments on Bytek body shop on the web.

And before the dealership responds by "We have no record" of having dealth with me, don't believe this; they know exactly who we are.

Scott Montgomery - I hope you get treated the same way you treat others. Hope never to see your ugly face, horrible voice, or hear your cursed name again.

Romy is an excellent sales person at this location who engages with the customer, has a passion for the product/brand and knows about the vehicles, their history and their features.

Managers in this location are professional, yet warm and friendly.

My transaction didn't work out here because I was too busy to work around their schedules, but I can still recommend the dealership - especially if you work with Romy and her manager Dave.

The German made Volkswagens are good cars. Be mindful of the rest - do your research.
