The response from the sales, service and parts department is not up to the mark. They had a very carefree attitude towards me.
They have no responsibility towards the customer.
Worst experience ever.
I would not recommend people to 401 Dixie Volkswagen dealerships.
One is the minimum they can get orelse I would have given zero.
First of all, i have been given wrong sets of winter tiers for my new car. Upon confronting them, the parts team have to say that its just a lower profile and wont affect your driving and make up stories. They did not accept their mistakes and did not replace my tiers with the actual winter tiers with proper size which are manufacturer recommended. They just get people into their talks but don’t give a proper positive response. The tiers I purchased were brand new winter tiers in the month of October along with my new car purchased from this dealership. It is not even 2 months since i have put on the brand new (wrong size) winter tiers, my both tiers, front and rear, on right side got flat.
Upon discussing with mechanics outside, they said it is because of the wrong tier size on the car.
But the parts department don’t want to accept their mistakes.
I feel that because of this mistake, my life is at risk driving car from this dealership. I feel i have been cheated by the dealership by not providing me the things for which i have paid for.

Completely disappointed with my experience at this Volkswagen dealership’s sales staff.

Disappointing moment #1

I purchased a vehicle on December 27 and was left under the impression that it would be ready for pick up the following day so I went back to the dealership only to find out they they didn’t have the vehicle in stock so someone would call me to schedule the delivery of the vehicle.

Disappointing moment #2

When I went back the first day, it was to get approval for the vehicle. I received a phone call from the dealership 30 minutes after I left saying that I got approved and I asked if I could come to pick it up, they said they would call me back shortly to let me know but failed to do so. In turn, I had to call them back instead only to be told that they would call me back in 5 minutes but again failed to do so. So I had to physically go to the dealership only for them to tell me that the manager isn't there.

Disappointing moment #3

I called the dealership back on the 29th to find out what is going on with the vehicle (because up to then, I haven’t received a straight answer) where they didn't seem to know. They said that someone would call (not sure when), to schedule the delivery of the vehicle. It is now, January 3rd, 2020 and I still have not received a straight answer as to when the vehicle will be ready despite being told yesterday over the phone that i would be called back with an update (didn’t get a call back).

Final straw #4

I sent the dealership sales staff a lengthy email stating my disappointment with them, explaining the situation, and I STILL haven’t even heard back from them.

Had they been upfront and told me that it would take me over a week to get the vehicle, that would have set the expectation but this leads me to believe that they only cared about making the sale and not the customer.

100% disappointed with my experience here so far and would not recommend.

Just wanted to write this to detail our experience in this amazing dealership.

My parents were looking for a VW and Mohammad took us in and from the start of our conversation to the end, he kept taking care of us like we're family and it was such a pleasure dealing with a professional, kind, genuine and honest sales person like him.

He even followed up twice within a month and a half's time to ensure everything was running smoothly with our car and if we had any sort of questions or inquiries.

On top of this sheer dedication and commitment, he gave us a solid price as well during negotiations and we were happy with the way he handled things with our car of choice, which was the Jetta.

Overall, it was a tremendous experience and I will definitely be coming back to this location in the future when it's time to purchase my own car.

Brought my car for windshield replacement. They subcontract out to a place called Vision Glass. Great experience with this third party place. Minor issue and have to bring the car back for re-calibrate of the sensor. Trouble and took me extra time on my day off but the experience lead me to this review.
Brandon (Service Advisor) was friendly and set me up in lighting speed. Follow up as promised and got car ready as indicated.
Brian (Driver)....one word to describe --- Gentleman! On time each time to pick you up or drop off.
Finally, Mike (Foreman of the Shop) took the time to test drive the car and showed me everything works as is. Funny and friendly too!

Long story short - came into dealership for replacement vehicle after an accident. Positives: Got a great deal on the car and sales team was very nice/knowledgeable about product. Negatives: Finance team lacks knowledge on how to properly deal with insurance company when it comes down to providing payout amounts. Insurance company gets a cash value deal on their buyout amount while you (as a repeat customer) gets the short end of the stick. Also, there is no appointment/scheduling system in place (unless you are dealing with parts/service) so be prepared to wait 30min-1hr.

Review is based more on the phone customer service and the service department. I have warranty through the dealership that covers tires, etc. Found that I had a screw in my tire, which was probably there for about 3 days before I found it as there was minimal pressure lost. I drive on the highway and was asking to be squeezed in to get it patched. The receptionist is very abrupt and does not even let you finish talking. I spoke to service coordinator who told me first available appointment is on Saturday morning, I called Thursday evening. I was asking a question about the tire and even mentioned I have extended warranty. I was put through to a service advisor. Nobody answered at which time call routed back to receptionist. She answered and said "I guess nobody is picking up" and put me back through. Call came back to her. I wanted to then confirm if my appointment was in place and again she transferred me before I even finished speaking. At this point I hung up. I called around the next morning and found another dealership that was able to patch up my tire and even fix a minor recall. Did have to pay for repair out of pocket, but did not want to keep driving on tire either. I believe I will go to another dealership for my upcoming maintenance service and stay away unless it is something major that this dealership will need to or have to cover.

Very Bad experience.....after sale, they don't take a note on seriousness of customer service, New car was bought in April, sunroof was damaged, service manager Nick took Photo & ask me to wait for his call, after 1 month i called for replacement left 3 messages no response, called my sales rep Fares amazing guy helped me to get part order & advise part will be coming from Germany wait for a month as per Nick ( service Manager). its a more than a month no one called, if you call service dept. you're on hold as they don't have employee to respond you or they don't want to take a call bcoz so much busy! thou GM is good & very helpful...personnel request please buy your car …..from a good dealer!

Changing to 5 stars.
Had a failure in my EPC and took the car to the dealership. The car was fixed under warranty in a very fast and courteous manner. My service advisor Evan kept me in the loop and got the car ready faster than I expected.
I’ve had a few problems with the car in the past and both Nick and Evan in service have been very helpful and professional in my experience.

I've had a few rocky experiences at this dealership in the past. Some good visits but also a few really unpleasant ones which did more damage than good.
But I'm upgrading my review from a 1 star to a 3 star after my most recent visit which was great! They got the parts very quickly and the car was ready faster than expected.thanks to Nick in service advisory who is honestly the only reason i went back to this dealership. He has always been professional, respectful, friendly and extremely helpful.
it seems like the management is finally listening and I'm hoping my future visits will only improve this review.

Do not buy used vehicle from this dealership.They sold me wrong vehicle sun roof not working perfectly and some windshield scratch on the mirror. When you signed contract they fix nothing of your Car totally money hunger. They also add 3000$ rust proofing without asking me . I was told that the car should be able to be picked up within two weeks. However, after I signed the contract, everything changed!!! They do not care about you any more! There's no update on when my car will be available. I called a lot of times and left several voice messages, no respond at all! I even went to the dealership, all I got is the guy told me that he will check it out and the car is in transit, after that, never answered my phone nor responded to my messages. Now, I still haven't got my car and need to uber to work. Just terrible!!!

I bought 3 new cars from this dealer since 2013 so I would consider myself a top customer for this dealer. Recently (this started about two years ago) one of the cars needs service I need to drop it off and pick it up. They will not send their courtesy car to drop me off or pick me up from home. They say that the 401 & Winston Churchill intersection where I live is outside of their drop off/pick up courtesy range. I am writing this review to let you Reader know about this. If you negotiate the purchase of a car with them, I suggest you make the dropping off/pick up for service of your car part of the deal.

Just bought a 3 yr. old GTI last week. It was a very frustrating experience. The Sales Manager would not come down on list price, not even $300 ($30,000 car, so 1%). Normally I would have gone elsewhere, but this car with this combination of colour and options was hard to find.
When I came back to the dealership again to pay full price after a second test drive, he wouldn't let me drive it. I live 1 1/2 hr. away.
Even after I gave a deposit, I had to wait a long time to fill out the paperwork and listen to all of their additional (expensive) warranty offers. The salesman and everyone else had moved on to new clients. Discovered after that the price I had agreed to did not include the charge for the CPO inspection and work. I thought car dealers included the CPO inspection and work required as part of the purchase price. They are basically selling a service that is not required, forcing you to pay for it, and not giving you any choice (Yes, just a sales machine, located in a very concentrated area of the city, running a very profitable business.
I can't recommend this dealer, in fact I would recommend you try somewhere else.

My wife and I purchased a 2016 VW Jetta Comfortline from Blake Elliot in June. I had done a lot of research online and spent several weekends checking out different vehicles from several brands. In the process I had the opportunity to interact with many dealerships and several sales representatives.

Through this entire experience, I have to say that Blake stood out as a rare example of how the automotive dealership experience can a pleasant one. Blake was energetic, showing absolutely no fatigue or exasperation during our many indecisive moments. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products he sold, the specs, the features, the packages, and the prices. He was no-nonsense when it came to striking a deal, which was incredibly refreshing. He was also very well prepared, not wasting any of our time, which made the process feel much smoother than you'd expect. There was one small exception to this, when we first met, he had not yet brought out the vehicles we were first interested in looking at (VW Golf Sportswagens), but to be fair, we were 15 min early.

Overall, it was a very positive experience that I'd highly recommend - and my wife and I have recommended him to several friends and colleagues. A bit over a month in and we are still loving the Jetta - I can't believe the car we got for the price we paid.

These guys dont sell cars, they sell lies! Too much trickery and zero honesty. They tell u they have one thing to get you to come in and they dont have what you want and they try too hard to make you buy something else. I got lied to twice just to bring me in, when I came in the car I wanted was not there. They told me a 1.4l jetta is the same thing as a 1.8l golf. Like are you kidding me really. Two months before that a guy told me he had manual golf over the phone. So we booked an apointment and I came in the guy was trying to clear some jettas out and he didnt have a golf so I said You told me you had a golf manual. He said i thought but we dont its the same thing. Are YOU KIDDING!?!? I would not recomend this dealership to any one: Georgetown VW and Bramgate VW are much better everyone is nicer and they do not lie about what they have and what they dont have. I had to drive 45 minutes each time I came down and it was a total waste of time.

My experience 401 Dixie VW was honestly probably my best experience purchasing a vehicle. I got the chance to meet and deal with a gentleman names Denny Dizka, who took the time to explain my Jetta to me and show me how the little gadgets worked within the vehicle. He listened when I raised any concerns, I may potentially have and reassured me that the car would treat me awesome. And it has, I picked up my car last week and went up north this past weekend and it was probably one of the best vehicles, I've had the opportunity to drive.

So if anyone is looking for a dealership with great customer service I highly recommend going to Volkswagen @ 401 Dixie Auto mall. Off the 401 @ Dixie Road.
