I was going to get my tires changed but I was told that they had to be replaced. I did not do this. Today I went to 2 other stores that deal with tires. Both said the tires are good for at least another 1-2 years. This seems like an attempt of taken advantage of.

When I went to pick up my car she was very rude. All she did was say “ Here are your keys” . There was no thank you, enjoy your car, nothing. Go to a different VW dealership instead. Went here for an alignment for my car, when I was given the car back I drove it around the block and noticed that the alignment was no different then before and was never given an alignment spec sheet to see the changes done to the car, they said the printer wasn’t working and never offered to email me a sheet showing that work was “done on my car”. Don’t waste your money here, go somewhere else.

If I could I would turn the clock back and never buy a car at Myers VW dealership.
I bought a certified used Golf TDI, 2013. Two days after I noticed odd noise coming from the front and took it two the shop. I was told there was nothing wrong. I took a shop manager for a drive to show him a problem and only after that they agreed to take the car on next day. When I got home I desided to look undernith the car for myself and I found the bolts that hold the strut on, were loose! So I was drive 2 days (200 kilomiters) with loosed strut bolts, that means they replaced a strut and didnt tied the bolts, which is actually very dangerous. I am lucky they didnt come all the way out. I tied them by myself.

A few weeks later I brought my car to Myers VW with wheel bearing problem. I told them it is a wheel bearing problem, but it took two more weeks from them to diagnost it was a wheel bearing indeed, after they replace moultiple other parts. I am glad I bought an extra warranty, otherwise the bill would of been in the tousands of dollars.

Then when the weather got cold (0 degrees), the car was unable to start, I was 80 km away from Ottawa. I called a road side assistance (VW service) and unfortunatly they towed it to Myers. I was told it is 6 hours job. It was 11 November. I write this review today and it is 03 December and I havent seen my car 3.5 weeks already. No one calls me on their own initiative. They called back me twice with empty promises of having the car completed.
Currently I borrow vehicles from my friends, how rediqulous!

If you don't want extra problems in your life dont buy a car in Myers VW. This dealership casts shame to the Volkswagen name.

04 Dec 2019 update. I called today twice, left two messages to inquire about my car. No answer. I went to the dealership. I was informed that my car was ready, but I have to pay a $100 deductible. Seriously?

I, unfortunately, can't give the team a pass when it comes to my experiences at the Myers VW location in Kanata.

I want to say that overall, I love my VW golf, its a great car so far. I have had it for about 2 years and I am the second owner. I actually tried to purchase from VW Kanata, but I was unable to test a single model at the Kanata location that was manual which is my preference. This leads me to buy second hand, which I did 2 days after visiting your dealership.

On Nov 8th of this year, it was particularly cold in the morning. When I turned on the car I noticed that the EPC light was on, and the heated seats were not functioning properly.
Of course, the EPC light concerned me, but I was also irked that when the heated seats were needed they would malfunction.

Now I called VW, told them who I was and what I was experiencing. I asked them If I was still under warranty for the car. It's a 2016 model. I have had my car brought in to Myers before so I expected them to know. I was told it was still under warranty.

I then booked an appointment. This appointment was canceled by Myers as they did not have enough time to look at the car. I did, however, receive a call and was told they would re-book me.

My appointment was rescheduled for yesterday. I took the time out of my day to bring the vehicle in and explained the two issues I was having with your team. The service desk staff was a young girl, brown hair and she was polite. She mentioned that I was actually just outside of my warranty window by 8 days. As you can imagine this was unexpected and not was I was hoping for or told on the phone. I asked about a grace period for the warranty, and I was told rather quickly that there was nothing that could be done. I would be charged 2 hours of labor just to look for the issues.

I want to keep the car in good condition as I do all of my belongings so I said okay. I was told it would be done before 4 pm. I was offered an uber back to work, which was great. I made it back to work within my lunch break.

I then waited at work. At about 5 pm, an hour after my car was supposed to be finished I decided to call Myers, as I was planning on using my car to get back home. I was told the service department was too busy to take my call but they would leave a message for me. I left a message and waited for a return call. At about 5:20 I arranged for a drive at my own expense to Myers VW to find out what's going on. I arrived at about 5:40 with no call from the staff at Myers. I was then told my car was not looked at today.

I left in my car to drive home. Overall I was totally unimpressed with the way each part of the staff was unable to assist me, show empathy for my situation, or even respect for my time.

I don't have cable, I only listen to radio ads for cars. I don't think they're that effective. What I do find works is getting recommendations from friends and family. Word of mouth is a powerful referral. Instead of a happy customer, talking about how Myers helped me out all I can say is I experienced terrible customer service, and how I would prefer never to go back.

Two stars as the person who I did speak with was polite!

My husband and I just purchased a VW Atlas from Dave Pearson. He went above and beyond to ensure we purchased the right vehicle for our needs. Fantastic customer service and great sense of humour! We were concerned the vehicle would not fit in our parking garage. He personally drove the vehicle to test the parking and it fit! This is our second VW purchase in less than a year from Myers. My girlfriend recently bought a vehicle here as part of the purchase she was supposed to get it detailed, and a clip fixed on her bumper. Had to wait a week for detailing, got the vehicle back not cleaned, and with two broken air vents, and clip still broken. Called the service department and they denied it all. Our sales rep ended up doing the second detail job because "service is too busy". The salesman Matt seems to be a great guy. But whoever works in service needs to be removed terrible customer service and broken promises will not be returning. Also while we were waiting that first week for detailing her parents were looking at picking a vehicle up there as well. Went in to sign the paperwork and yet again service did not have the vehicle ready. Not sure who runs this place but it's a complete joke. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!! Oh best of all vents and bumper still not fixed.

My wife went here for an oil change on her 2014 Tiguan. The oil change comes with a quick car inspection + car wash. We had noticed driver side tire was low on air and asked them to check it while she was in.(this is part of the inspection list). Whomever worked on her car told my wife her tire was well inflated...she returned home and I decided to put a pressure gauge on the tire: 7 PSI compared to 40 PSI on the passenger tire. Yet their check list marked it as "green - good". If the mechanic stood in front of the car and looked at both tires he would have seen one was sagging. Do you hire competent people?

They charge 115$ for this? What a rip off when their free inspection is a close your eyes check in the box list. No wonder it's free.

I drive a Civic and I pay 70$ for my oil changes and they meticulously go through the list, even provide me with tire thread depths and battery evaluation all for free. The difference is they actually DO IT.

For all the commercials Myers keeps broadcasting through Ottawa we're very disappointed for our first time in...

I purchased a new Atlas in Jan 2019 and had a very pleasant experience with the Sales guy, Alex & Ryan. Great guys.

The financing guy (Juan - I think his name was) was awful.

In addition to causing unnecessary issues with the financing side of the vehicle he also got me to agree to the extended warranty - which he said covered absolutely everything on my car. And, I paid extra to have it extended to 140,000 kms.

Now, I call (not even 2 months later) to get a repair done on my car and they tell me that it is not included and that Juan has since left the dealership. WTF. Now they want upwards of $700 for the repair when I specifically purchased this stupid extended warranty service already.
The car is 2 months old!

I love VW. And, the sales people are wonderful here. But, I would caution anyone who is looking at the warranty packages and stay clear of this Juan character. He was literally the worst.

He clearly gave me all the information and informed us in a precise way. I understood everything every part of the way, and was very comfortable making this purchase. My experience with most car dealers has varied from time to time, but I know I will be going back here. i went in today to look at the jetta comfortline, from the moment i walked in i was treated like family by imad suliman. We test drove two cars the trendline+ and the comfortline, after we came back he took me on a tour of the facility which was a nice touch, afterwhich we sat down and talked numbers got a great deal on the comfortline(which is the car i ended up purchasing). i applied for financing and the gentleman incharge of that was chris, he got back to me within a half hour i was expecting more time then that. overall an amazing experience i would highly recommend myers vw at the autopark and imad as a salesman.

I have been to pretty well all the dealerships in the palladium before visiting Myers Volkswagen. It was nerve wracking to say the least, as I was pushed to purchase one particular vehicle that I did not even ask to see at one of the Dealerships. There was another sales associate that couldn't even answer my questions I had about one car that I was interested in from the start. Coming to a point where I was turned off in the car business, I made one last stop at Myers Volkswagen.. That's where I met my sales rep with my 2013 Jetta that I cant stop looking at. I love driving it. I used to hate driving until now. Cliff was my sales rep who helped me with everything I needed before purchasing this car. He answered all my questions, did not pressure me whatsoever, and most importantly he made sure that this was the car I would be most comfortable in. Thank you so much Cliff for my experience! I will be recommending you to anyone looking for a new vehicle! :)

I just picked up my brand new 2015 golf gti :) I would first like to start of by saying it was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. My salesman cliff helped me with selection pricing and more than fair trade value for my 2012 mazda6 he was very professional and at no point did I feel pressured into making a purchase unlike some of the other dealerships I visited that week. He suggested I go for lunch and think about it and upon my return he offered to pay for my lunch! Myers Volkswagen has by far exceeded my car buying expectations and i will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.
