My car lease was up, it was in my husbands name. He had passed away the year before. I had never had to deal with this before. The sales person I got. ,whose name I believe was Ian, was the most obnoxious person to deal with. He knew my situation and was not helpful at all resulting in us having a misunderstanding which he insinuated was my fault. The day I went to sign the deal, he purposely made me wait as he did not have another customer and then I still had another 2 hour wait before the paperwork was ready for me to sign. This experience left a very bad impression on me and I would not recommend this dealership because of it. I even called my dealership back on Ontario, where the lease originated, to ask their advise because of this sales person.

I've literally never written a review for a business before but I have to give a MAJOR thank you the service department and the mechanic who worked on my vehicle. They worked with me to ensure I saved money at every single chance, always got my vehicle in quickly, and had open and knowledgeable communication through the whole process. They also went above and beyond to help me with some unexpected work that would have otherwise resulted in me being unable to drive my vehicle for months to come. Judy in the service department was so patient and wonderful to work with; I never had to wonder what was going on with my vehicle, as she regularly updated and answered all of my questions. They even worked around my scheduling difficulties to make the experience as smooth as possible.

Service department is willing to fit in urgent issues while always providing honest and thorough advice/information and quotes without any hassle. Even to us layman folks. I go out of my way to continue coming here when I otherwise would avoid large corporate mechanics, the price sucks coz of corporate but these guys won’t trick me into what I don’t need.

They fit me in right away and determined the drain plug wasn’t put in tight enough. Thank you Peter Kent for all your help!!

The experience we had with this dealership was phenomenal from the start. Graham, Barron and Pat were absolutely wonderful to deal with when we arrived wanting to purchase a Tiguan. They were extremely friendly, helpful and made the whole process a breeze! There was a few hiccups along the way but they were willing to work with us to make sure we left the lot happy in our brand new car and that’s exactly what we did. We absolutely love our new Tiguan and I can’t thank them enough for being so patient and so helpful throughout the entire buying process!

Based on a previous positive experience in their service department, I was going to consider purchasing my next VW from Vantage.
When I entered their (empty) showroom, I didn't see any sales staff. I did see another couple waiting at a salesperson's desk, but no one else was visible. I waited several minutes, but no one else ever came...I have to assume the salesperson was doing the old "let me consult with my manager/make these customers wait" with the couple I could see. I decided I would contact the dealership and make an appointment.
When I visited their website 15 minutes later, it only listed two sales people...Damian (sales manager) and Barron (sales consultant).
I emailed Barron and asked about a specific car, and asked about the necessary deposit and possible delivery time. That was on August 25th. He hasn't bothered to respond.
My guess is that they don't need my business, which is too bad...I had hoped to avoid traveling to the HRM to purchase my next car, but I will see if those dealers answer emails or greet their customers in their showroom.

We came in with a major problem with our 03 VW Jetta. In a matter of minutes, Jason knew that the problem was a faulty crankshaft sensor. They fixed it in 2 hours at a good price.

So far I've bought two cars from here and I I will continue to do so for many reasons. Among them is the fact that I am always provided with a drive or loaner car when needed, they always fix my car on time or if there is anything additional they inform me so I'm never surprised by what needs to be done or the cost. Warranty has been excellent and I've even had them proactively tell me when I'm in the shop of recall items on my car before I get official word in the mail. They are fair when working with trade-ins and I've never felt pressured into a sale or that they where trying to take advantage of me. They actively listen to me when I ask questions and provide me with detailed answers, allowing me to feel ever more confident they know what they are talking about and what they are doing. By far, my experience with vantage motors has been well above most the other places in Truro.

Had to share my experience here! I work in the industry and know anytime I need to have a dealer repair to bring my wallet even if it’s the simplest little thing. Well I went into service center to ask a quick question expecting to be quoted at least an hours labour. My remote start was not working and I couldn’t figure out why. I spoke with Jason at the service counter who was obviously busy but he took the time to walk outside and play with my key fob. Within seconds he was able to advise if tank is under quarter remote start does not work. No apportionment necessary and super friendly! I won’t be so nervous to call Volkswagen next time I need something serviced as it is apparent there staff cares and genuinely wants to save you money if they can!

Had my car in for a ground wire repair. They said they fixed it and added $1100 of work I should also get done. It broke down again in an hour and a half. I had to go to Dieppe VW instead to get it looked at. Vantage motors said if it was a mechanic error they would refund me. Dieppe immediately saw they had attached the wire in a place that would not cause a successful repair. Dieppe fixed my car and phoned Vantage for me and told them why their repair wasn't ok. They refued to refund the money. If your car will make it to New Brunswick, go there for service instead
