I was looking to buy a new vehicle, and was contacted by Riley Cook. He was incredibly personable over the phone, and really seems to care for his clients' needs. While Valley Volkswagen/Bruce Auto Group may not have had the right vehicle for me THIS time, Riley said he'd try to find it for me, and even did a callback to check in with me to see how my search was coming. Even though I did find the right car elsewhere, Bruce Auto, and specifically Riley Cook, are on our shortlist for good auto dealerships for future needs.

avoid, do not take your car there or buy one. all the valley Volkswagen staff have long gone, the people that made it a great place are no more. my tiguan has 2 years free servicing, according to valley now i never bought it from them have never taken a car there and what service package do i want to buy. last time the tiguan went there they walked around it all day and didn't touch it because the call center never told service it was coming in. both my cars go elsewhere now, avoid valley at all costs

Do not bother buying or taking your car here. They used to be great but since Bruce auto group bought it the whole parts and service team has gone, the booking system is appalling and the service is non existent. I used to take both my cars there, no longer, my Tiguan has free servicing and it's a fight to get valley to honor that, all they want to do is sell me a package. It has two years free servicing, last time either car will go there. The pricing has gone though the roof and the service has plummeted, avoid at all costs

My car broke down while a friend was using it and I was abroad, so I needed to be communicated with by e-mail and all sorts of other contortions. Cindy and Gord were just awesome about it. I am so grateful for their flexibility and kindness and getting my car fixed and being patient and taking my credit card over the phone and making it all work out! I'm so grateful for the kind wonderful honest people in Nova Scotia and this place is a great example for what the province is famous for.

Does not seem that the technicians here take care.

Freshly washed and polished car, 10 greasy dirty handprints on the hood where it must have been closed, with a few micro scratches to boot. Same dirt on the hood pull inside the car and a few dirt stains on the seat. Frustrating to take care of your vehicle just for it to be treated that way.

Took shortcuts on the diagnosis too and tried to weasel out of warranty. Luckily I took images so I knew their explanation wasn't accurate. After seeing the care that they take, I can't say I am bothered that they were not interested in the warranty work. Someone who can't take 10 seconds to take dirty gloves off won't take care doing other major repairs.

Honesty, professionalism and care go a long way.

We were out with the family looking for a used vehicle the other week and we visited most dealerships here in the valley. Unfortunately even though I love Volkswagen, when we searched up what they had available, they had four used vehicles available on the lot and none of them were even worth stopping in. It was actually fairly disappointing. They literally had nothing available.

We recently moved to Wolfville from Halifax and were in need of service for our 2018 Audi S6. For anyone who is familiar with the vehicle it is NOT your typical Audi sedan and is in the sport class of the brand. The car is worth over $120,000 new and extremely technical.

Despite there not being a local Audi dealership I thought the next best thing would be to contact the nearest Volkswagen dealer. We needed an MVI, oil change, 4 new tires, an alignment and a scan of the vehicles computer. The car was with the dealer for several weeks due to delays in parts that were needed. Initially the communication was very good, emails and phone calls with updates were regular. Once the work was completed I was told by the service advisor that as a courtesy they wanted to offer a free detailing of the car and requested to keep the vehicle for another day. I agreed and waited another day to retrieve the car. On the day I picked up the car it was very apparent that no one so much as cleaned the windows let alone detailed anything. I spent over $2500 on services with the dealer and left my car for almost a month with them. I also noticed there was damage to the drivers side door that appears to be from having the door opened and it hitting something. I contacted the dealership right away and my initial email was ignored. The second email I sent regarding the incident was met with a response from the Pino Smith the “Fixed Operations Manager” who responded saying “Sorry to see your car has some damage, I can’t say that it was done here, however we are not responsible for vehicles left here on our lot”. This was not a satisfactory response to the damage of my car so I escalated the issue to the dealer principal Harvey Mapplebeck and the General Manager Allan Fletcher. Neither responded to my email or concerns what so ever, despite opening and reading my communication to them. Based on the email response and stance from Pino Smith I would not recommend anyone take their vehicle to this dealership for service or repairs since they could have one of their employees damage your car and claim no responsibility for the damages. I have been left no other choice but to file a legal suit against them in order to have my $120,000 car epaired.

The people I dealt with were professional and very helpful the problem I have is with the setup of the windshield wipers and half into pay $89 for two windshield wipers that right now haven't lasted me even two three weeks I was disgusted to be honest and I'm going to go back into Colebrook on Monday and ask for a replacement for the windshield wiper that didn't even make it through about two week period and when you have to pay $49 for white for one wiper you expect it to last at least a year and this wiper is already ripped and did he not even make it through a storm so I'm pretty disgusting that other than that that's the only thing I have to complain about for my Volkswagen because it's a little tank in the snow but the windshield wiper setup for Volkswagen Tiguan at least much to be desired and to pay that much for wipers from the dealer because you can't really buy anything a generic brand because of the way they're there get put on so Volkswagen you got to do something about this

Brought car in with check engine light saying injector problem.
They repaired a mass air sensor and said it was fixed.
I picked the car up and not 5 minutes after driving it I realised the problem was not fixed at all. The check engine light came back on almost immediately.

My poor girlfriend. She took her TDI in to Valley Volkswagen and she asked them to do a quick check to verify serviceability of the alternator (a 2 second multimeter check). She asked them to make sure the leads weren't corroded and she was interrupted by the service personnel who told her to "leave it to the technicians to decide what to look at." They charged $154 for "over 1 hour of work" after getting around to it 2 days later. After she paid, in order to get the car out of the parking lot, she had to reconnect the positive terminal to her battery herself. She brings it home and when I get back from work, I pop the hood to find that they still had the ram air intake cover, battery cover, and fuse box cover in their shop. Their justification for over 1 hr work was that they had to use a multimeter and try it with a different battery. I drove back up to grab the items that they forgot to reinstall before releasing the vehicle. Good thing these items don't impact roadworthiness. Stay clear folks.

I would just like to say that people are always very quick to let you know when a shop has done something wrong. But, in this case I`d like to thank one of your shops for doing a great job. Last summer my car was side-swiped, and the insurance company gave me two choices of where I could go. Valley Volkswagen wasn't one of them, but I told them that`s where I`m taking my car. So they obliged! I took my car to your dealership, because of past work dealings I had with Deacon and the guys. They did great warranty work with an issue I had, and have also been there to answer questions I've had on a couple of occasions!!! This is what makes a good company, a GREAT company. Thanks to the guys in the Body Shop!!!

I am truly disappointed. I was a faithful customer who will no longer come for any services. They overcharged at every corner and they don't have fair prices.
For example: one of my keys was not working, they quoted me $200 to repair it. My husband downloaded the car manual and was able to reset the key with new battery in 2 mins and for $4.
My last visit...my generator was not working and i went there to get an estimate (which was over $1000). I went to get my car as it was too much to fix and they charged me $125 for nothing. I already knew the problem was the generator, i even told them when i went in.
Their services and price gouging has turned me off from even considering buying a car there (which i was considering).
