Bought a used vehicle there which broke down after a year due to a timing belt tensioner issue that was known by VW and very common on the model year we purchased. All they would do is quote us thousands for repair or replacement of the motor and used all sorts of scare tactics to convince us to sell the vehicle dirt cheap to their technician. Crooks!
Good mechanics could do better at customer service but only acting under robotic management.

These guys were so good to me :) My 2015 Golf was totaled in an accident and so I was left without a vehicle. I test drove a 2016 Golf from Leth VW and was willing to purchase it, but the price was a bit steep. After some discussing, they agreed to lower the price. I was excited to drive away with a new car, but my insurance and bank were holding onto the payout from my last vehicle, which could take up to a month to process. Instead of making me ring up hundreds of dollars in rental fees (I work out of town), Lethbridge VW gave me the vehicle with a deposit and a post-dated cheque. Once the money was in my account, the cheque cleared. It was such a good experience to purchase a car with these guys - I would definitely recommend!

Thank you very much to Mike, Shelli, and all the service staff at Lethbridge Volkswagen. They always go above and beyond the call of duty and are extremely helpful. I had an issue last year and Mike made sure that things were taken care of through head office and fought to ensure everything was covered under warranty for me.
They charged me $443 to reconnect 6 broken wires! I have never felt as ripped off as I do right now. Took the car in a because rodent chewed through the 6 thin wires to the air flow sensor. They estimated 2-3hours to get it done. It was over 6hours before they called and said it was ready.
They charged $108 dollars in parts (for the 6 bits of wire they attached)! They didn't even replace the connector or the plastic wire guard (only wrapping it in electrical tape)! That gauge wire is ~$12 for an entire spool anywhere else. Then they added $288 for 2hours of shop time! Do their shop technicians really earn $144 an hour?! Then they added $27 a shop supplies fee (electrical tape?). Of course add Tax onto that.
Matt Brown is a consummate professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service. I found him to be honest and forthcoming...no games, BS or pressure tactics. Matt helped me assist my elderly parents with purchasing a vehicle...I was out of town so couldn't be there in person, and my parents were overwhelmed. Matt put them at ease from the beginning and truly listened/heard my and my parents concerns. He delivered on every commitment he made, and then went beyond. The experience was all the more appreciated after a very negative interaction with a competing dealership across town. We just purchased a Tiguan from Matt Brown and we had a great experience. He was super accommodating to our schedule and definitely didn’t pressure us on anything. We were able to take an extended test drive to decide if we liked the vehicle which was a really nice option. Matt worked hard to get us options that worked best for our family. I than reached out to VW to see if it was possible to trade in two vehicles. Matt has the best customer service i have ever seen. I was having several issues with my car, a BMW X3 2004. I had been to several places in Lethbridge that claimed to work on German vehicles, however no one could figure out what was wrong with my car, even though they charged me for it.
This dealership SAVED ME. On more than one occasion they gave me a loaner car (for free) to drive while they worked on my car. I was never pressured to buy a car from them, and they always gave me objective advice on how to prioritise repairs and save money.
I was so impressed with their service that I traded in my BMW for a VW Tiguan and LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS CAR!!! It drives like a cloud and with their VW warranty I do not have to worry about ANYTHING for 4 years!
If you are in the market for a car or having issues with a german vehicle, this is the place to go.

I took my Audi in to have a headlight bulb changed and rear brakes looked at. While doing so it was ***driven off the hoist and into a piece of machinery***
I get it, accidents happen and I would have accepted the incident if Lethbridge Volkswagen were decent about it. From the moment the accident occurred till today, management has been extremely difficult to work with, very dismissive and to a point verbally abusive while accepting no responsibility. They even charged me for the original bill, headlight and brakes, before they would return my vehicle.
Management was beyond horrible to work with and now that I have possession of my vehicle they aren’t returning phone calls regarding the shoddy repair job they did. Shame Shame!

Brad White was not pleasant to deal with, and I have heard this from a lot of my family and friends. I also witnessed him throwing a tantrum at a local camping store which resulted in him throwing item(s) at the cashier. Very unprofessional, very impolite, will not be doing business with Lethbridge Volkswagen and neither will a lot of the people I know thanks to him.
To sum -up the best gentle car dealership i ever talk to till this date . I talk to (Brad white )on phone he guided me as i am in Store and looking at car inventory . This dealership is not like forcing you to come down to dealership and have a look in person and not telling anything on phone g. Great people

Brad white is amazing to deal with. However the cars they showed me at a great price were not available to buy anymore when I went back as they "still had to go through the shop." Maybe I shouldn't have test drove them, received a quote and carfax for them. I wasn't even given a timeline when they'd be ready when I asked. My understanding is they would have done some sort of maintenance on them and jacked the prices a bit more. Appreciate Brad's effort though, don't think this was in his control, more like lack of communication within the dealership. Felt like a big waste of my time.
Was doing some light shopping for a future purchase and as a current Volkswagen owner I had to try out the new Golf. I talked to Brad White and could immediately tell that he is a true professional, and a die-hard Volkswagen fan.

This place was very helpful. The only thing that didn’t seem super cool was wanting to perform service that didn’t seem to need to be done, for a lot of money. I got my car safetied at another mechanic and they found nothing. I haven’t had much experience with these guys. Overall it’s been pretty good. Just not sure I trust them to not recommend extremely expensive service that might not be completely necessary.
Recently purchased a used Golf from this dealership and the whole experience was really good. Website mentions that staff work in a commission free environment and you could certainly tell the difference. Really helpful in showing what your options are within your budget while also getting you into a car that meets what you are looking for. Great experience would definitely recommend checking out.

No pressure at all and even took our 2010 Passat Wagon on trade knowing it needed some work. Justin in the finance department was just as easy to work with. I was in the auto business for over 20 years so not a green horn, but wholeheartedly feel that the VW team in Lethbridge were very friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and down right helpful in getting us the car we wanted. This was my first time getting into a new vehicle and the entire experience was silky smooth from beginning to end. Thanks guys, two thumbs up and highly recommended to all. Oh and the Alltrack is perfect!!

About two months ago I purchased a used Volkswagen Jetta from Lethbridge Volkswagen and I had been nothing but impressed with the entire process from booking a test drive to ownership. All of the staff were great and very professional. Now having put 2000 km and two months on the vehicle, it has still driven like the day I test drove it without any unexpected surprises, a testimonial to the integrity of the staff as they stand behind the products they sell. I would definitely purchase from them again.
