I brought my car into Forbes as I was worried there might have been an oil leak. Turns out it was just my air conditioner cooling that was creating the puddles. Nick and Chris worked on my car and went above and beyond. They called me into the service room and raised my car up. They showed me the different parts under my car so I felt confident in the assessment of the car and so I could better understand next time if there was an oil leak or if it was just my air conditioner cooling. I was so appreciative of the time and care they showed to my car and to myself.

I bought a 2017 Toyota Tacoma from Forbes in April of 2020. Although I could not test drive the truck due to COVID 19, Katrina took excellent videos of the exterior and interior of the truck and was able to show all of the special features. Their team was on the ball. Financing was done efficiently by their team and I had my truck within a week dropped off at my door after she took a very detailed detailed delivery video for me. Highly recommended. I love my Tacoma!

I am an international student. I went there to buy a car and the sales man, Ryan, asked me where I come from and he gave me weird comments about my country and my people. Then I went to his office to talk about the prices and wanted the best price but he told me that this is what it is!!! You can go somewhere else to buy a car, because Toyota is selling very well and don't need to reduce the costs. I just left there in tears!! And he didn't even said goodbye.
Couple of days after that incident my brother went there and talked to the manager he was a very good person and professional, and he apologized for his employee's attitude!!
But, I will never go there again!! I had never seen such an unprofessional and racist behaviour before.

We have never had a sales person carefully go through in such detail to make sure we knew how to operate the various options . She worked diligently to get the deal we were happy with . The atmosphere at Forbes was very inviting and we felt no pressure to purchase this vehicle . The paperwork was completed so it was ready to drive home. A big bonus was a full tank of gas ( which we have never received in a used vehicle sale from any other dealership). I've decided to express my disappointing towards this dealer writing this review, which I hope will help others, too

Few months ago I've visited this dealer and after talking to Mike I've realized something is not right there.
I haven't purchased a vehicle that day mainly because the lack of knowledge and involvement from these sales guys. There are a bunch of them but they aren't eager to just talk ---they need to sell the car right away and it its possible with ZERO questions. They are very aggressive and later found that are also incompetent.

I went home and did a serious reading on the reviews here.
A tip : make sure to select the reviews based on the Newest one. Somehow Google decided to show only the most favorable reviews first.

Make sure to read through all of these reviews and you will notice how many people are disappointed on this dealer. Then do the same exercise with Heffener, Cambridge and Guelph.

I'm glad I've read all the reviews (especially the negative ones). Forbes behaviour in respect to customers service doesn't stand up to the Toyota standards.
I'm surprised why Toyota doesn't do an Audit on this dealership.

Customers complain on all sort of issues and what is wrong ...they keep repeating over and over again.
There is even someone responding to reviews - who pretends is the general manger. We all know that is not the general manager, because if it was these issues would be fixed and don't repeat ---right Jason (or whatever pretends is him).

Please read the reviews and then decide who to give your business.
I would not recommend visiting this dealer and waste your time just to be gouged.

Read the reviews ...they will help with your decision . They really helped me.

Each step of the process from vehicle selection, financing and brand comparison was accompanied by my Sales Person Katarina Babic. All of the potions were presented and explained thoroughly in order that I made the best choice for my situation. The Leasing manager Darrell, and Credit Manager Matt took their time to make sure I understood thoroughly every detail, even though it took 3 visits to be clear on every detail. All 3 are a valuable asset to the Toyota Brand. On-line shopping? Not when you have this type of service available to you. Bravo!

My wife and I were here earlier today to see if we can get a vehicle for our growing family. We were welcomed with a smile and a warm greeting from the team here. We were looking for a new car and Jason was very helpful and informative with selecting a car. We had our daughter with us and keeping a child quiet and calm was no easy task, but the staff were friendly and playful with her so that made the experience that much better (even though we felt bad) the team at Forbes Toyota were so nice. The cars are great and customer service even better. I recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to pop in here first. Their no pressure sales approach made it seem so much easier for us. I was looking online for a used vehicle and located one I thought would be a possibility at Forbes in Waterloo. I inquired online and received very prompt service and information from Stefanie Moroz. I made an appointment to see the vehicle as I was traveling from out of town. Stefanie had the car ready to go when I arrived and was very familiar with the vehicle's history and service. When it came time to "make the deal", Stefanie was easy to deal with and straight forward. The vehicle was ready as promised and the manager had flowers to present with the vehicle at pickup! Mike came down to Woodstock to pick up my car and gave me a loaner car (Camry 2018). The repairs took a week, again Mike brought back my car to Woodstock with a full gas tank. Went in to get information about getting my first car in Canada and was received by Darryl Murphy who kindly explained that all of his advisors where busy. The bad part began when the advisor Jason Cook approached me, his attitude was of indifference and disinterest, I wanted to know in a more detailed way if I could get a vehicle in my current situation but he just looked up prices on the website and told me that the wait time for the car is 6 to 8 months, he showed no interest at all of helping a customer.
If you are going to get more information to get a car don't go with Jason Cook, he will make you lose interest in buying a Toyota.

I was frustrated a lot from the way the repair and maintenance services dealing the customers , I had appointment today to repair my car's front brakes and the technician told me he will call me back for what my car needs, and when he called he told me that to replace two front rotors and two pads will cost me more than $600 + Tax , and when I explained to him that I bought the car from them and have a life time brake pads warranty, he started to give excuses like I must bring the car yearly for brake checkups or so, then I asked him to look on my past checkup for the brakes which was a year ago when it was checked from them and I was told that the pads are in good condition without any warning for coming back in any specific period, then another manner less thing happened from the employee when he hanged the telephone in my face without any reason just because I told him that I don't want them to do the maintenance any more , then after five minutes he called back telling me that they will not charge me the tax but I thanked him and insisted not to do repairs in Toyota Forbes any more , I consider this treatment is very humiliating for a loyal customer bought his car from Toyota Forbes and do all the maintenance by them , I decided not to come back to this place any more. Final notice , I did brakes repair for only $320!

I came to Forbes Toyota after walking around sales lots at other dealerships and was never approached. I looked around and left without speaking to anyone. I stopped at Forbes and was greeted by a friendly guy within 5 minutes of arriving on the lot. The people I dealt with were great. I had never bought a new car before and was a little nervous about it. They answered all my questions and gave me a great deal on my trade in. I've had my car over 2 years now and absolutely love it. I will keep buying Toyota.

I purchased a 2014 Toyota Corolla recently and was completely blown away with the service that I received, start to finish at Forbes Waterloo Toyota. I found my salesperson Paul to be honest, direct, helpful and knowledgeable. Paul took over for Ian who went on holidays and I was impressed by how well they worked together and how great the service experience was with both of them. Kristian who worked with me on financing, went above and beyond to get my vehicle to me ahead of schedule and even took time to personally follow up. Aaron not only took time to provide information while I was there to purchase the vehicle, but also took time to check in when I was picking it up, to ensure everything was to my satisfaction and to congratulate me. Aaron, Kristian and Paul stayed late to help ensure everything went well and to work with me on my timeline, that was so very appreciated! When I picked up my vehicle I was met with a bouquet of orange roses and Paul who took the time to tell me all about my new vehicle and to set up a few things like my blue tooth. All of the little extras, quick delivery and the high quality professionalism and service are greatly appreciated. Thanks for selling me a great car...and while that means I won't see you for years and years for another car purchase, it absolutely means that when it is time for a new car, I will be back!

Made my first car purchase here. It was a 2014 Toyota Corolla. Best experience so far, the staff was accommodating, they even offered me a ride back to my house since i have to walk. The process was so easy, the paper work was all done by them, the requirements were easy to meet. The day i have to pick up my car, they even pick me up from the office. Overall it was a good experience, and definitely will come back here for my next car :)

Excellent folks and customer service we are enjoying our Highlander and will be back a few years down to get the new model. I would and have recommended them to our family and friends.
One thinks all automobile dealerships are the same but I it is the people working there that make all the difference, their understanding of the product and client needs puts them above all other. After all a vehicle is just a mean to get from point A to point B.
