Really poor customer service.  We have bought 2 cars from this dealership in the last 2 years and wont be going back. When buying(spending your money) from them they are on top of their service. Unfortunately once you have completed your purchase they could careless about providing you service and retaining your business. When my wife purchased her car they were going to have a 3rd party install a car starter. The car starter never worked from the moment we picked it up. When we were ready to have this fixed they had the 3rd party contact us to arrange a date when they could fix it but no solution for a loaner. I told the 3rd party that I would need to contact Toyota as I should not have to be speaking to the 3rd party as it was Toyota's responsibility to arrange the repair. After several calls to the dealership about this it, finally the sales manager Ricardo to calls me. Ricardo seemed to be bothered and unprofessional when speaking with me. No apology whatsoever.  The starter was eventually fixed or so we thought. The following my wifes dashboard lights up like a christmas tree. So on the phone I get only this time asking to speak to the general manager Matt. He offers the to fix the car in a few days, again with no apology whatsoever. Seems to be a theme with this location.  I told him a few isnt really an option and that this needs to be rectified immediately. He calls back informing us someone will come by and pick up the car and leave a loaner. After 3 tries finally the starter and car are good to go. On top of the car starter not working the car had a horrible damp smell again from the moment we bought it(I was told that it was from them detailing the car and not airing it out correctl). Again no follow up from the dealership to resolve the issue. Eventually rather spending my time dealing with the dealership we ended up taking care ourselves as best as we could. The smell is still present. They never reached out to us to resolve the 2 issues with my wifes car. It was us who took time out of our days to continual

Bought a used vehicle in early May 2020. I had issues the moment I drove off the lot, I was never given my ownership and thought with everything going on with the pandemic, not a big deal as I did not need to drive my car anywhere I will give it a couple days. Called back and talked to my Sales guy who I purchased vehicle off and I asked if my ownership was misplaced and was re affirmed that I had it and if I did not have it I lost it. I triple checked all my paperwork as I took it from inside the dealership and right into the vehicle.

I tried again to call and ask for a copy of the ownership that the dealership has so I could than be covered to drive myself to an Service Ontario and deal with being in public. "Only reason I went to a dealer was to bypass Service Ontario"

Was told I lost it and would have to pay to replace.... 32$ not a big deal but just the fact the way I was treated...

And to top it off, driving home from work today and exhaust system crumbled at manifold and now I have a stock car until it can be fixed... 29 days from purchase I will have to pay out of pocket to fix this. I know it is a used vehicle but a exhaust system doesn't just crumble in 29 days...

Will never buy again from a Myers owned dealership.

It’s been many months and a few attempts at contacting them and still have not received anything. Myers is so good to work with that I would love to give them 8 stars out of 5 if I could. First time buying a car off a lot, I dealt with James who was very easy going and transparent. He certainly went way above the call of duty and then some to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I came in super skeptical of dealers and at this one I can honestly say it was super easy and no pressure. I live out of town and on his day off went in and rinsed the car off to send me 90+ pictures of the car so I was 100% certain I wanted to look at the car in person and make the trip to Ottawa for the test drive and final decision. Everything was as stated in black and white and I picked up the car 3 days later. Great first time buying experience for me recommend it for any expierience of buyer

My passenger seatbelt was broken before I went in the most recent service. Gray recognized the issue based on the description I put on the online appointment request before I went in. He greeted me immediately when I was in reception and fixed it right there in less than 5 minutes for free. This is beyond my expectations. I really appreciate your service and this courteous team!

Such an amazing dealership. We take our cars in to get serviced regularly here. Staff are always courteous and seem very willing to assist. Huge inventory of vehicles, and the upstairs lounge area is very comforting, they have a free shuttle service which is on time, and great for someone who doesn’t have a ride back. They have free WiFi and couches, and coffee if you want to wait.

The start of my experience purchasing a vehicle here was fantastic, I got the vehicle I wanted and wasn't pressured into any add-ons that I didn't need as I do not live in Ontario.
However, one condition of purchasing this vehicle was that I needed *needed, not wanted* a block heater. I was charged for a block heater and signed the paperwork and the vehicle was mine. A couple weeks after finalizing the sale, I found out there was no block heater for this model.

I purchased this vehicle back in May, I still don't have a block heater. I live in Nunavut where we are approaching months of -60 degrees weather.

I was told I would get a refund, this was well over 2 weeks ago and I still do not have anything.

Toyota has reassured me many times that their vehicles will start in any extreme weather. What if it doesn't start? Will Toyota pay me for the charges I incur from having my vehicle towed and repaired because they are certain it will start?

I don't like leaving bad reviews or saying anything negative but this is a $40,000+ vehicle that I've invested in and I can't go home with the comfort of knowing I can plug it in at night when the weather gets extreme.

I'm extremely upset with this dealership and Toyota in general.

Brought my car in to get the winter tires installed. I was an hour early so I expected a big wait. Derrick said he would get me in ASAP. I went upstairs to grab a bite (smart idea having hot food available). In 45 minutes my car was ready. The tire change was great (fast), the food was nice and Derrick was amazing. Brought in 2 cars today for a winter tire swap. Was quite impress with the overall excellent service I receive. Kevin greeted me the moment I walked in the took care of everything. One recent Saturday morning I found my car in the garage with a flat tire from a nail. I called Toyota roadside assistance and they showed up within 30 minutes to install the spare. I called Myers Service and they said to come on in , so while they repaired the tire my sister and I waited in comfy chairs drinking lattes. This dealership took advantage of my terminally ill father and talked him into a 2 year lease when he had wanted to buy. The lease was for a much longer time than he has left to live. They took advantage of his lack of understanding due to his illness/medications and talked him into a terrible lease that we will never find someone to sublease. He will end up paying $15,000 after the buy out price for having this truck for 3 months and the sales person knew exactly the circumstances of my father's illness. They sold him a 10 year maintenance package as well for $2700. Something he obviously wouldnt need on a lease. This is a predatory dealership. Make sure not to let your elderly loved ones shop here. We are trying to just take care of it without telling him because it will break his heart. Buyer beware!

I was very pleased with my short experience with their service department. From the time I forst called to get an appointment at a very busy time of year, the front desk staff were polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating. On my appointment day, everything was on time, the waiting area was very nice and comfortable, and the problem fixed promptly. I was also very happy to receive a complete explanation of my particular issue from the service manager. The issue has not returned and I believe they fixed it completely.

Bought my first Toyota at Myers Barrhaven and was very happy with the experience and services provided! We went in to look around then came back to buy a couple days later, without knowing it was a VIP event. Regardless of it being extreamely busy and coming by unannounced, they did a wonderful job of making us feel just as important as the VIPs and keeping us informed/acknowledged until they could serve us around previously booked appointments. They really made it feel seamless.

I have bought new vehicles from a different dealership (different car brand as well) for the past 13 years and do not regret changing over at all.

I recently bought a 2019 Highlander limited. I had been doing my research for the past 2 years and found that this was the best vehicle for me. Ive been to just about every dealership in the city. I've found that most dealerships will tell you anything just to try and get you to sign with them. Then when it comes down to the contract it doesn't reflect what was agreed upon.

When I talked to Stuart at Barrhaven Toyota he didn't push any preconceived sales plan or try to "sell me" and change my mind to another modal to get me to buy what was on the lot. he said "we will find the right vehicle for you and what you want, even if it takes a while I'm confident we can find it for you". I found he didn't blow smoke or try and use sales tricks in order to get my business. He and Ricardo (Sales Manager) followed through with their offers and I believe I got the best deal out there.
