I purchased my first vehicle a Toyota Corolla in 1973. I moved around a lot while in the military. Upon retirement, summer of 2003, I moved from the Maritimes with an Echo 2000. I have been a customer at Hawkesbury Toyota since then. I can honestly say this service department is at the top of my list for services.
At times while waiting for my vehicle, I have asked others also waiting, where they came from: Ottawa, Cornwall, Alexandria, Rigaud, Lachute, they all come to Hawkesbury Toyota for the good service they receive.

Remember when car dealerships gave off a "small town" feel and you truly felt welcomed? Toyota Hawkesbury is still that place. We have purchased 3 Toyotas from them, and they recently went out of their way to get us out of a bind. I will never shop for a Toyota elsewhere.

In April 2021, we had difficulty getting the 2021 Ruby Flare Pearl Hybrid Rav4 that we wanted at the local dealers in Ottawa. Since we do not reside in Hawkesbury. I contacted Hawkesbury Toyota by phone and spoke to Gerry Miner. He was able to get us exactly what we wanted within three weeks, compare to possibly three month with other dealers. We also had no issue negotiating the price over the phone and we had no surprises when we signed the papers.The vehicle was clean, and requested accessories had been installed. Gerry also took the time to explain many of the options on the Rav4.

Best dealership and salesman I have dealt with. Mario ( about same age as me) understood I did not want to waste my time. All transactions done either thur emails, messenger, video conf and SMS. I made an offer, it was accepted, I went and inspect car the following day. Once satisfied, all paperworks were pre-done and all I had to do was to bring my check the day of delivery and keys were handed over.
Very minute issues were handled beyond satisfaction.
And I am not taking about $$$$$ I saved buying from them, compared to Ottawa and Gatineau. Do not want to say how much I saved as I might get arrested for Grand Robbery :-)
When it is time to change the Lexus RX, I will think of Mario Groulx, as if we change, wanted to go Toyota SUV anyhow.

WARNING. Yes, the staff is courteous and helpful but if you purchase a used vehicle do not leave the lot without having it aligned. We had the misfortune of trusting their “certified used vehicle.” Five months after we purchased our used Sienna, while changing the tires for the winter, we discovered that the two front tires were shot due to a misalignment. We did not hit any potholes as implied when we called the dealership. As for the alignment, they said it was in the norm when it was “certified.” They offered a free alignment but we had it immediately done when we changed our tires. Too little too late. We drove off that lot the day we purchased it with the wheels misaligned. If you do purchase a used vehicle from the dealership, demand an alignment before leaving the lot even if it is “certified.”
Carole is a superb individual to deal with. Very personable, trustworthy and professional. There is a big value add dealing with her above any other person or any other dealer. She genuinely cares about her customers. Hawkesbury Toyota does care deeply about the customer experience. I selected this dealer for the quality used vehicle they had and the certification. I purchased it before I got there because I was over 500KMs away. It comes across that there is pride and professionalism and a great ethic. My car although over two years on the road drives as good as new.

This is a fairly small dealership as dealerships go but they make up for it in price, service and attitude.
I bought a new car there almost three years ago and that's where I take it for service as well.
The purchase experience was very transparent with no hidden charges or gimmicks forced upon the buyer at the end. The service bill is always what was briefed and it takes the time promised, I've never had a problem.
I guess that's why I'm driving an extra 30 minutes to this dealer (vs my nearest one).
