New Car (Sales)

This was a super experience with Nissan Brossard in purchasing my vehicle from them. Especially my first time with them September 2020. The sales staff, but especially my sales agent Mr. Adel Wahba was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable in steering me in the right direction of my purchase. A 2020 Nissan Murano which was delivered on Sep.30,2020. I am incredibly happy and satisfied with my purchase. Also, with the fact that I can call on him with any questions or concerns that I have, concerning the said purchase, as I have done already. I have no hesitation in recommending others to their dealership.

I started my experience with Park Avenue Nissan with pleasure, but unfortunately ended with huge disappointment. Here's my story:
I had a lease which will end by this November, so I started looking for candidates for my next car but wasn't going to make any decision before the end of my previous lease. I went to Park Avenue Nissan, and was greeted by a nice sales man.
I told him I still have an unfinished lease. He told me Park Avenue can evaluate the car, which is in nearly perfect condition and with extreme low mileage, and return it for me. So I was under the impression that Park Avenue Nissan
can make a deal with my previous dealer and take over my remaining lease contract. I was thinking that's great, and started to ask for more information about the new car. Then the sales man told me about the promotion of 1000 dollars cash back. I'm more interested, and long story short, after two weeks of consideration, I signed a new lease with Park Avenue Nissan.
On the day of delivery, I was told that the $1000 cash promotion was going to be used to pay off my previous lease, which is a totally nasty surprise for me because nowhere in the whole process that I was informed I still have to pay the rest of the lease, and no one told me they are going to use my promotion bonus and pay for my previous contract.
So basically, I was misled to believe that Park Avenue will take over my old lease with no extra cost to me. If Park Avenue told me that they've made the decision for me on how I should spend the promotion bonus, I would have make a different choice. And when I tried to help him to understand why this is unfair, the manager of Park Avenue Nissan even told me this is my fault because I didn't ask them the right question about their secret plan of what they will do with my promotion bonus. This manager not only refused to reimburse my promotion bonus, he even refused to acknowledge there's anything to be improved in their service, even when the sales man honestly admitted he'd made a mistake for not giving me the right information. The manager insisted that it's customer's responsibility to know all questions they want to ask. Otherwise, Park Avenue doesn't have the obligation to disclose any information and can't be held responsible for misleading their customers.
I believe the sales man had only made an honest mistake, just like everyone else. But as a customer, I shouldn't be the one who is paying for this mistake. I am extremely upset that the management of Park Avenue Nissan failed to realize that.
To be fair, I have no complaint with my new car, just yet, and I believe not every customer of Park Avenue has had the same experience that I had. But with the way the management of Park Avenue Nissan was handling my issue, I doubt seriously that I'll be the last customer who's being left in this kind of situation. One customer's satisfaction is obviously not a concern to the manager I've talked with. I can only guarantee that I'll never be a customer with Park Avenue Nissan again, and I'll strongly recommend against this dealer ship to all of my friends. If you are going to this dealer, please make sure you are an expert in everything. Or, you'll need to be luckier than me.

My experience with the Park Avenue Nissan dealership was remarkable. I entered with the thought of looking at and evaluating, if available, the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. My salesman was Jean-Sebastien Demontigny. I met him during my initial look-see, and there was one 2015 available, which was a demo, and so I arranged an appointment to take a test drive a couple of days later. My impression of the vehicle was a very positive one, but had to wait 20 minutes for the test drive. It was during the wait that Jean-Sebastien had found another 2015 sitting in the back and was unwrapping it when the demo became available to test. After the test drive, I decided that the Pathfinder was the right vehicle for my needs. The great thing is that I now had the option to choose between the two vehicles which was not present when I booked the test drive. Afterwards he showed me the one he had found, and I found it more aesthetically pleasing concerning the color and options it had. It was the extra effort put in by Jean-Sebastien giving me the opportunity to purchase a vehicle basing my decision on both the economics of getting last year's model, and having a well endowed package as well. The team at Park Avenue Nissan excelled in their service, I was offered all the information needed to finalize my buying decision, and I naturally chose the hidden gem that was found by Jean-Sebastien. Kudos to Jean-Sebastien my salesman for his extra effort, I am very happy with both the car buying experience and my vehicle.
