Feb 22nd 2018 Evening I had gone to Morningside dealer and test drived the car. sales representative was kaamini, and when we where negotiating the deal she was rude , unpleasant and I felt I was completely mistreated , even when we go to buy $30 shirt itself sales people do treat us well irrespective of we buy or not, but this lady treated me poorly and when I was trying to negotiate she asked me to just leave the place, I actually lost interest with Nissan brand itself but since their offers were good next day I had gone to a different dealer and booked my car. May be the sales lady ms.kamini thought I was not a serious buyer but how can they judge some one , Morning side Nissan lost a customer because of that ladies behavior and I will make sure to spread this word in my circle and will stop future customers too.

I took my car in for a brake fluid flush. When I came to pick up the car I assumed that they did the job. Since I paid for it. After pulling out of the parking lot and driving out into a main intersection I applied the brake and the car didn't stop I almost got into a crash with another car... Strongly recommend you take your car in to another dealership for service. ( You would think that they would at least test drive it after the service.) I would take the car back , but
i remembered my family and i always had issues with the service department a couple year's ago. It's my fault for not remembering the bad service.

This was by far the best car dealership experience I've had. Coming from Burlington, I didn't want to make the drive until I knew it was going to be worth it. I called for the car I was looking at and made sure they were willing to work with me with the budget I had. Horrible Customer Service

Recently I decided to purchase a new vehicle from Morningside Nissan. After driving away with a new car I am not excited because of horrible customer service from the sales agent and the manager. Simply put - they are rude with zero customer service skills. They tried to get me a car which did not look brand new and keep saying they gave me the best deal and they are not making money. What? no one forced you to sell the car if you are taking a loss. I am a hard working customer and want to save money meaning bargain for the best deal, nothing wrong with that. I felt exhausted with the whole process. Prior management used to be so much better at this dealership. Nissan Canada you should review customer service at this dealership or else you will lose loyal customers.

Very rude to their customers. Since day 1 when we had our new Rouge the windshield cracked not even a few weeks old. It was not cracked because of a stone or something hitting the windshield but a defect. They gave us the run around for days stating that something hit the windshield. They had their "experts" look at it and decided it was a defect from the manufacturer. They would only replace it with a second grade glass not like the one that comes in a brand new vehicle. Head office was even involved. Which they weren't any better!
#2 Back this past winter we went to get our winter tires put on as they are stored there. Which they charge big bucks for. We went to get our tire lock out of our glove compartment in our vehicle where it has been since we purchased the car and it was missing. We went to the dealership and told them when they changed the tires prior they took the lock key and never put it back. They said oh we never use the customers we use our own. I said we have no use to it as they only have changed our tires and store our tires there. They said they don't have it. Well sure as heck we don't have it as we have NEVER used it!!
#3 Now we needed an oil change and since we we over a few kilometers they charged us for the change which it was suppose to be our last "free" oil change. Nope they wouldn't give it to us instead charged us $90.68!!
Customers are in there complaining every time I go. Their excuse to the customers is..."oh we changed owners" so its different now.
Well Nissan Morningside customer service can go a long way!! This is NOT how you treat your customers!!

I was invited( so called private invitation ) and told that a specialist from Nissan Canada will take care of better and special prices of new cars and will also give me special trade in value. This person did nothing, just asked for how many KM and model that I have on my SUV and than referred to another sales person. The sales person rudely asked me the first question "Can you afford a new SUV?" Ohh come on!! How come you ask this question to your customer. Can't he see that I am already driving a Top model of SUV!!!! Even ,after few minutes he went somewhere for more than 25 minutes leaving me unattended...Totally unprofessional and rude sales staff.

TLDR: think twice before you do business with this Nissan location and you’re better off servicing your Nissan vehicle at another location. The owner may refer me to their Service Manager but I have already exchanged emails with him. Below is my honest review.

I started financing a sentra from here back in 2017. Somewhere between 20k to 40k km I started noticing a recurring problem with a slow starting engine (shouldn’t happen with a new car). I had the problem checked at least twice in the past during my two year warranty period and twice I left the dealership with the issue not found and still occurring because "it couldn't be duplicated". The problem is that on some occasions the engine performs a slow start meaning it has a poor ignition, I would have thought a proper diagnosis includes checking different parts of the car rather than simply trying to replicate a cold start in hopes that the issue described will occur. I feel that I was cheated and at the time, I did not have the confidence to challenge them on the result they had given me due to my lack of knowledge in vehicle maintenance. Now I understand that while this was not directly a management issue and more so an incompetence with the technicians, my experience with them was unsatisfactory.

Upon reading up on the other google reviews for this location, I discovered they had undergone a management change and thought maybe they might have the solution for me. I sent an email explaining the issue I had with my car as I have described above to [email protected] back in late June of this year. I had no response but I checked the google reviews again recently, and I saw a new email I could reach the management at and that was the service manager’s direct email link. I went ahead and forwarded the email I initially wrote to Tod, [email protected]. My email was met with a generic, copy and paste type of response, which was poorly written. I called him out on the lack of professionalism I received and was returned with an apology and an offer to diagnose my car at no cost (since my car is no longer under the basic warranty, a typical basic diagnosis would cost more than $100). I declined this offer because I just lost all confidence in the dealership redeeming their customer service.

Important to note: While under warranty, one should expect to come in for a regular maintenance service without the worry of paying for any extra cost since it should be covered. However, I remember a couple instances where I was advised for some specific parts to be replaced which were not covered by the warranty. This was very frustrating to deal with because my car was new but how come it requires so much replacements already? Also typically when I get my car back from maintenance, I would find pieces of scrap paper or plastic in the passenger seat or in the center console which I didn’t mind but thought was unprofessional. You often hear people call dealerships, stealerships and now, I can actually relate to that.

So, while in the neighbourhood I ventured to this lot to browse the physical inventory of new and pre-owned vehicles.

Yes, one can surf the web to see everything including 3-D cutouts and fancy music to sway a potential buyer.

There’s just something about being right next to something that’s not a keyboard.

I called your service department today ( Sep 2, 2020) at 12:05 PM and I asked if I could have an oil change. The man on the other end of the line said to come at 3PM.

My information was not taken.

I arrived at your dealership at 3PM. The gentleman on the service counter said he cannot accommodate me.

I was so disappointed with this kind of service. You wasted my time. You should have told me that you cannot do the service I would not have wasted my time to go to your dealership.

I did not ask name of the person whom I was talking to, sorry. But, a customer like me would expect the person answering calls would know what and how would they answer to customers.

Bought a car last year used VPP and promised the 2 year oil changes can be done at any Nissan dealership. I went to do an oil change at a closer dealership but my car was not entered in the system. Call Morningside service; asked about my oil change and they told me had to be their dealership only. I Don’t live in the area. Contacted business office they did nothing then contacted by email Jason l still no reply.
CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST ONCE YOU DRIVE THE CAR OFF THE LOT!!

I had a very bad experience with this dealership. I had received a quote from one of the dealerships and had been to this dealership to see if they can beat the other offer that I had. Just for giving me their quote the sales consultant wanted my credit card. When I refused to give my credit card the sales consultant got furious, stood up and said I cannot negotiate/deal with you. I had very clearly told him that if I like their quote I would buy the vehicle from that Morningside dealership but for some reason he wanted to take my credit card even before providing any number from his side.

If I could rate less than 1 star I would. Took my car into Nissan on advice of my regular mechanic. He found an inconsequential oil 'leak' (speck really), but if it was covered under warranty - worth getting in before my warranty ran out. Took it in and was told it was a $2500-$3000 job - not covered by warranty. When I said that in that case I would take it to my regular mechanic, I was told it was unsafe to drive. How did it go from barely a speck of oil that wasn't urgent outside of my near ending warranty to my car is unfit to drive? I told them to dump some oil in it, I was picking it up. Fought me on the phone, and again at pick up - "Not Safe To Drive!" My mechanic ran it for two days - not a drop of oil leaked. Took it back for a check two weeks later - not a drop of oil had leaked. Now four months later I've had him check again - Not. A. Drop. Of. Oil.Has. Leaked. I'm only writing this review now in the off chance there truly was something wrong that hadn't been observed over the past three visits. Nope. I would have been out $2500-$3000 for unneeded repairs - and who's to say any work would have been done for that cost, seeing as there was no problem to fix, no parts to replace, no work to be done. I can see many people would have just paid the money with the scare tactics. It's criminal. Nissan Canada states their dealerships are independently owned, but I would expect some oversight as representatives of their product. Disgusted.

If it weren't for the service manager (Todd) and the service staff, this would be a 1 star. Todd remembered the deal I was given of free oil changes. The business manager and sales manager there both didn't return any of my calls when I asked for them to ensure it was put on my file. First oil change I was made to feel like I was given a free pass. This was the second time so thankfully Todd was there and remembered the deal. So for service, awesome experience! As for sales, their business manager and sales manager are not diligent and are unresponsive once they have your deal signed.
