Purchased a demo from this dealer and have been burned. The warranty was already expired when I came in for service. Baywest Nissan Owen Sound allows their Sales people to drive the finer cars then sell them to customers as new with the warranty already counting like it was SOLD once before... "In Service" which means that the warranty starts right then and not when it is SOLD as NEW to the Customer. I have been told we'll handle it but then told they can't help me. Just avoid this dealer and save yourself the time. I got burned so please don't have the same happen to you.
We came to Baywest to check out a nissan juke. We test drove it and made a deal with the sales manager. He double checked the price for us with his boss and we paid our deposit, arranging to pay the balance within two weeks. Deal done, he then went to his boss a third time to have him sign the deal and we heard a loud crash of a door banging. We joked that the deal was too good to be true and that there was some trouble. No joke, I don't know what the scam was all about but he came back and said he made a mistake and they had to have more money for the car, this after double checking with the boss first. We took our deposit back and left. We won't go back.

Recently purchased a new Frontier from Baywest Nissan. Salesperson was Jody and she easily took me through the purchase process and answered all of my questions. She introduced me to my new vehicle when it was ready for pickup and again answered questions easily for me. My whole experience 5 star and I would recommend Jody and Baywest Nissan to all. After sudden onset of problems with my 2018 Quash Quai I arranged a service appointment at Baywest. Within 24 hours they determined it was the transmission. The vehicle had just 120k and was 4 years old.....never in my 45 years of driving have I encountered this. They then took a full a full week to let me know they would cover nothing!! Apparently the guy that makes these decisions was very busy. I was forced to rent a car in order to work that week....again my cost. The communication at the dealership was less than poor and had we not kept calling it may have been even longer. In the end I was told it would be $7500 for the replacement and they would offer no support. Shocking, especially when it is well documented there have been problems with their CVT transmissions. Even the manager agreed a transmission should not go with just 120 k but nothing they would do.....just call customer care. Another joke....customer care never calls you back. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN NISSAN

Been driving and buying Nissan vehicles since '08. This is the only dealership that's ever talked me out of buying from them due to their horrible customer service. I'll go to another Nissan dealership.

All these dealerships are the same tell you one thing just to get your business. Then when you think you are just about done paying for a 6 year deal. They tac another year on top of it. Nothing but problems from day one with the car they didn't want to honor any of the warranty coverage. That is an additional $10,000 msrp option. Thinking that I won't have any problems because of this. They just ride it out hard saying I signed a 7 year deal. Which is impossible considering that the 0% interest deal is only 6 years....I'm sick of lies and bad customer service

Was a great experience. Saleman/woman are paid by the hour so there is no pressure on you. The Salesman I had was truthful and gave it to me straight which is extremely rare now a days. Would recommend 100% go in and ask for Shaun if you are looking at a vehicle, you won't regret that decision.

Great service, all around. I travel from London to Owen Sound to go to Baywest, simply because of the service.
I have a pathfinder that I bought at a different dealership and there was a problem with the blower motor. The other dealership couldn't fix it and sent me to BayWest Nissan.
The warranty company would only go for the aftermarket fan. They put it in and it cracked the housing. So of course I had to come back to get it looked at and then come back again to get it fixed. Not an issue, they were really accommodating for my schedule.
But the kicker is the warranty company still wanted to use the aftermarket piece. The fought on my behalf to get the proper part. I'm sitting here in the lobby as it's finally being fixed right. The warranty company wouldn't cover the diagnostics this time. Nissan absorbed those costs for me because they understood how much of a pain this has been for me.
Overall they were friendly throughout this task. They absorbed some of the cost themselves that should have been covered by the warranty company.
10/10 would recommend.
