My third Nissan Rogue (a 2021 with its excellent safety rating and features that saved us from serious injury) was recently involved in a collision - and deemed a "probable total loss". While travelling through Orillia, I looked up the Experience Nissan dealership to browse for a replacement. I met James Wenger and Krista Kemp. James gave me a very thorough comparison and printouts of the 2023 Rogue models and options with prices, and introduced me to Krista who shared her knowledge and advice about the insurance process. My visit to this dealership felt like a no-pressure, personal experience which I would recommend to anyone looking for a great vehicle.

Brought our 18 year old to Experience Nissan. She had a very specific car and color in mind and they happened to have one on the lot (although it was spoken for at the time). Jim came out to greet us and he was amazing! Did everything I thought a salesperson should and more. We did place an order for the car my daughter wanted but as it turns out the car on the lot became available after all! Go elsewhere! One-star is being generous.
We were very disappointed following our recent visit to the Experience Nissan service department. After telling the Service Advisor that the ambient temperature sensor had already been replaced ( which was $100 part), we were still charged an hour of shop time to diagnose that the ambient temperature sensor is not the cause of our a/c issue. We were then charged another 0.8 hrs of shop time to tell us that the A/C issue was electrical and not covered by our “Simply the Worst” Nationwide warranty package. To make matters worse, we popped the hood after picking up the car, and the service tech had poked holes in the wiring to test for resistance, bu did not tape up the holes ( leaving them open to potential weather/corrosion). We were missing clips from where the grill clips onto the car, the ambient temperature sensor was left dangling and pieces of foam were not put back into place. Find a local mechanic you can trust, I feel Experience Nissan’s team failed to demonstrate any care or integrity….and, double-dipped on the diagnostic charges to boot. WOW ! $282 to state the most vague reason for the a/c blowing warm air. Ridiculous! We will never, ever recommend this dealership to anybody. Steer clear, folks!

My experience at Experience Nissan was a team, or more like a family, working hard to make our truck buying experience easy, convenient, and fun.

We had leased a Frontier Pro 4X king cab from here but discovered it was too small for our needs, and the ride was too harsh for us. They took it all in stride, smiled, rolled up their sleeves, and went to work, getting us into a different truck.

As a payment buyer, my only concern was monthly payments fitting our budget. In the two months since we leased the Pro 4X, they had added a really nice Midnight Addition, crew cab to their inventory. This truck was the right size, and the ride quality was perfect for us. They worked hard to get the deal done, and we couldn't be happier with our new truck.

I've bought a lot of vehicles over the years, and this has by far been my best experience.

RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars and still post a review I would. However, I HAVE to select one star in order to tall about how horrible my experience has been with Experience Nissan. I got my car from them because the sales rep at the time was AMAZING (she has since moved on, not shocking). So I thought, since I got my car there and had credits from referring people, I would take it back there for warranty work. Needless to say it has been the WORST experience of my life. Their communication is horrendous. They make demands and are down right rude. The work that is needed should 100% be covered under warranty and they have advised NISSAN CANADA that it is lack of maintenance therefor it shouldn't be covered. I have never missed an oil change and have been able to prove consistent maintenance, EVEN DURING COVID WHILE GOING THROUGH CHEMO. But somehow, it is still lack of maintenance according to Krista. I have spoken with several mechanics and even had a private oil sample done. Still, Krista quotes me $14k or a new motor. She cannot tell me WHY I would need a whole new motor, but that is what my quote is. I've asked around and this dealership is rumored to be severely lacking in sales and trying to make ends meet through service. Needless to say I wanted my car out of there. I made arrangements to get it towed only to be told by Krista that they have had ZERO contact from me, no one was in to put my key in the car and I suddenly owed money to them for diagnostic work that I never authorized so I can't have my car. I am so thoroughly disgusted with this place and cannot wait to get my car out of there and be done with them. I'm sure that if they decide to reply they will place the blame on me to make this review look false, but I have everything documented and saved. Which, if you have to deal with them, I highly recommend doing as well!

I own a 2015 Nissan sentra and have some problem with the transmission. So, I went to the Experience Nissan Orillia they guys review my car for 1 hour for that they charged me $159 with that I don’t have any problem but the thing is they told me that your ABS sensor has problem in past but nothing is happening now though I don’t have light of ABS on sensor and moreover they told me and also gave me the report which shows Rear Right tire ABS Sensor has problem though my car is front wheel drive. So basically they charge me their hourly charges whatever it is and also they didn’t give me the exact information of the problem and charged me for anything. I do have the report they gave me and invoice. However, before 2-3 days I went to other dealership of nissan they guys told me that your car does have problem which is minor problem of nissan’s transmission, also they gave me proper knowledge of the problem and also shows me the solution and for this things they only charge me for their time which I loved to pay. I would like to have possibly solution for this as soon as possible.

We did not have a good experience with their service department. We were charged nearly $500 to diagnose an engine harness issue. The service advisor did not clearly identify that they were going past the 2 hr initial limit for diagnosis. The van was towed in and all communication was done over the phone. She also did not at any point let me know what the shop rate was going to be, hence my surprise when I got the bill. All in all just a lack of transparency.

Had transmission problems on the highway as I was driving past Orillia, brought it to Experience Nissan, and even though I ordered some of the parts myself rather than through them, they were very courteous and professional. Two of the parts were out of stock across North America for two months, and Cuyler kept in touch with me and advised me when they finally came in. Cost of repair was reasonable. But considering I was just a 'walk-in' customer, Cuyler and the team were terrific to deal with. I would highly recommend Experience Nissan, they are honest and do what they say they will do.

Took to my mechanic for 2nd opinion and absolutely nothing wrong with the bushings. Would not recommend these guys and make sure to get a 2nd opinion as these guys like to scam

Last summer tried to tell me I needed to pay 400 dollars to replace a part to get my A/C working. Turns out it was just a loose wire and my father in law fixed for free .
This summer, had my rear control arm randomly snap. Same thing happened to my sister's car (exact same year and model) and was told by Barrie Nissan t was a recall and had it fixed under that. I called Orillia to see about getting mine fixed and they said it wasn't under the recall . I called Barrie to confirm and they told me it was in fact covered under the recall and even stated they weren't sure why Orillia would say it wasn't .

First of Experience Nissan employs the greatest group of people. We have purchased many vehicles from them over the years along with our parents and having had a great experience every time. Shout out to Krista, Meghan and Darlene. Meghan was wonderful and helping us purchase our new Frontier. When we got the vehicle we noticed a couple imperfections a few weeks after and Darlene got us in ASAP to have those imperfections rectified. We just got the vehicle back after having those corrected and are happier than ever. We will continue to use Nissan when seeking new vehicles. Couldn't speak any higher of them. Would 1000% recommend them for your car needs.

Terrible experience. We picked up an oil filter for our murano from this location, while doing our oil change we noticed the filter was a bit taller than the one we took out. Given the fact that we gave the worker our make, model and year we figured there's no way they gave us the wrong filter.... sure enough it was wrong. Now we have to drive 1 hour to pick up a new filter and more oil (NOT from this location) never going here again! What a joke this establishment is!

My better half and I stopped in today to check out the Nissan Rogue.

We met Jim, our salesperson who came outside (-8C) to greet us. He explained in great detail the difference between all the trim levels and allowed us to test drive both different engine options.

We had our trade appraised (very fairly), and came out with a new Nissan Rogue.

Our salesman, Jim, was very professional, but also laid back and did not pressure us at any time. Brent the General Manager was very personable, and Shelby the finance manager was also very nice too.

We had a great experience at Experience Nissan today. Job well done folks!

I really want to like this dealership but the lack of professionalism has made me decide to head to the Barrie location. The customer service rep we deal with is amazing but he shouldn’t have to apologize for the damage & dirt found in our vehicle after nearly every appointment or tire swaps. He had to specifically put on our file “take good care”. Shouldn’t that be expected already?

My final straw was recently sitting in the waiting area while Meghan, the sales consultant, repeatedly walked through the area unmasked. I am in contact with immunocompromised people so I do not take Covid protocols lightly

My wife was looking for a new Rogue. She reached out and contacted Shelby at Orillia Nissan and they spent time going back and forth and scheduled a test drive. They talked rough pricing and what her lease buy back would be. When my wife and I got there Shelby stated that due to the current microchip shortage there’d be absolutely no negotiating. So we decided to leave. On the way out we called Barrie Nissan and Beth told us she’d be more than happy to negotiate and help her find the Rogue she wanted. And Beth delivered. So I’ll be leaving my 1 star because I can’t leave 0 here and I’ll be leaving my 5 star with Beth at Barrie Nissan. I highly recommend not going here and just going to Barrie where they’ll treat you far better.

I always bring my Versa in to the service center for proprietary issues and trust that Darlene and the team are not trying to rip me off with unnecessary procedures or parts. My sales representative, Meghan, fought tooth and nail to get me the Versa model and colour that I wanted from another dealership after they had sold out without trying to persuade me to buy something else. Overall you will not have a pushy experience as I have had with previous dealerships and that is something I really appreciate!

I cannot stress this enough, friends. Do NOT give your business to Experience Nissan. I purchased a new vehicle from them less than two years ago and it’s had its fair share of small issues since. Nothing that’s impacted the safety, but a nuisance nonetheless for it being a new vehicle with less than 50,000km. I was promised up and down whatever it took to get me to sign, including reasonable service times and a loaner car in the event that it could not be serviced within a reasonable time. My services are always done, oils changes, etc. with my mechanic because he’s honest and has never steered us wrong. Currently, the rear brakes need to be replaced ASAP and it’s unsafe to drive; however, he’s not able to put it into service mode and that unfortunately, a Nissan dealership would have to do the work.

When I called to inquire about getting my car fixed, I was told they can’t even look at my car until Friday. No problem I thought - good thing they provide loaners. Nope, they don’t can’t do that either. So they can’t fix my car, they can’t provide a loaner (a service Experience Nissan offered, not something I asked for) and other mechanics can’t fix because they lack the necessary diagnostic tools to put the car into “service mode” because they make it more and more difficult for anyone other than the dealership to access. Krista’s (the owner) final words were that Experience Nissan does stand by their word but cannot offer any solutions but that I was more than welcome to leave feedback with Nissan Canada. It’s really off putting what a dealership will say to you to seal a deal. I also spoke to several staff prior to speaking to Krista - two of which laughed at my situation and informed me that Krista, the owner, would not be able to help me. I can’t say they were wrong 🤷‍♀️ It was a very different tune when my husband and I were just considering a vehicle upgrade - we must have had most of the dealership telling us every reason why we should make the upgrade. Sadly, I was brushed off by every person with whom I spoke to today (Nissan, if I can’t commute to work for a week, are you going to delay my payments by a week? I suspect not.)

Thankfully, my mechanic called me moments after getting off of the phone with the owner to let me know that he made some phone calls and is able to get his hands on the required tool and I’ll be safely on the road by tomorrow. It literally took my regular mechanic 30 mins to offer a reasonable solution to ensure I’m safely back on the road the next morning.
Nissan couldn’t be bothered to put in ANY effort to come up with an alternative solution.

So if you ever need your car looked at, I HIGHLY recommend Memorial Automotive. They’ve never had our vehicles for more than 1.5 days before being back on the road. And if anyone has had great dealership experiences, let me know! We tend to go through a lot of cars and I’m happy to give the sale to someone that stands behind their word ☺️

We are the owners a 2018 Titan..., had a concerning service matter that was completely covered off by Nissan, Cuyler and the Service Team at Experience Nissan. 100% no questions asked..., the vehicle was diagnosed and the work was done! Over the past couple of months, I have encountered a couple of issues with my vehicle and have had to have it serviced at Experience Nissan, Orillia. Although car troubles are never fun, my experiences at this location have been absolutely fabulous. Every team member I spoke to, in every department, was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I've never owned a Nissan before, I've always bought domestic. From the very first time I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with friendly faces, happy people and honest salesmanship.
I purchased a Nissan Frontier SL and I love it! Their service department is professional, they always show attention to detail, they always explain everything fully and I have never felt like I'm being "up-sold" for more service than needed to pad their bottom line. Thank you! They are BY FAR the best service department I've ever dealt with.
I like walking into a dealership that is family owned and isn't a monster in size. I don't feel like a number - I feel like a friend.

#1 - you like to take your car back for them to fix the service they just did

#2- you want to do #1 more than once

#3- you want #2 to happen to you because they put aftermarket parts on your car, because they booked the service wrong in the first place

#4- you want to spend $1100 on something that they thought was the problem of #3

My experience buying my first car could not have been easier thanks to the team at Experience Nissan.
Shelby was very helpful from the get-go and transparent with every aspect of the transaction. She is excellent at what she does and not at all like the typical sales representatives that I had been warned about prior to beginning my search. She was assuring and understanding of my concerns.
