Crooked as a dogs Hind Leg” is the BEST description of Rendezvous Nissan located in Hawkesbury.

I advise you consumers who purchase a vehicle at ANY dealership that the so called ADMIN fee is NOT a obligatory fee. It is a cash grab that goes directly into the dealerships pocket. No financial institution charges 599.00 to do anything. The cost of a vehicles pre-Inspection or “PDI” does NOT cost 599.00 nor does licencing. I say this as you will understand the story in a moment.

Names of the victims have been changed for privacy sake – however names of the offenders shall remain.

On October 21st 2019 a family member of mine went shopping for a Nissan QuashQai. That being said the cost of said vehicle was 25294.51 the cost of the enviro fees was 15.00 delivery was 1950.00, Federal Air Conditioner Tax was 100.00, ADMIN (the do nothing fee) was 599.00. Taxes are not included in here on the vehicle. The family member in question was a woman in her 60’s and did not know that the admin fee is NOT mandatory.

I got involved in this issue when my family member showed me the contract that was signed (sadly once a contract is signed it is set) she did not know that this fee was negotiable. I digress however.

Today 12/30/2019 I contacted this dealership and spoke to her salesperson Kyle Macrimmon a very unpleasant salesperson and inquired as to what the ADMIN fee included. Kyle sputtered around the issue and attempted to tell me that it included “little things” I again inquired as to what those “little things” were. He was unable to tell me what those were of course (which I expected) as they do not cover anything other than money in the dealerships pocket. He informed me that he would have a manger call me back.

Wayne Burge then called me back. I asked Mr. Burge to explain in detail what their ADMIN fee included. Wayne informed me in covered such things as licencing (When’s the last time you paid 599.00 to have your vehicle licenced in ANY province?), and financing work (the vehicle was purchased for CASH) so fail # 2 (and sinc

Albino Rhino (Albino Rhino Beer Review)

OK so originally I would’ve rated this dealership better, however, after three phone calls that haven’t been returned six emails never get returned and then having my in-laws, bring my car in for an oil change to the dealership that it was purchased at for the dealership to say this car has never been to the dealership, and they need the ownership, even though it was purchased there and was there for an oil change in September. I have to rate it a lot lower.

That being said my sales person, Mike was very good. However, the financing department took my down payment and didn’t put it down on to the car. I had to fight to get that back. And as I’m writing this right now, I’m getting text messages from my mother-in-law who is still fighting with them to get my oil changed…. So sales people amazing, service people, not so much.

Dan was extremely professional and yet, remained so flexible to work around the schedule of a toddler in the process. He answered all questions open and honestly while having a great sense of humor. I owe a lot of gratitude and debt to Mr. Karl LaFrance. I had an emergency issue with my car and when on my road trip I came across this showroom and called up Mr. Karl for help. He accommodated my request immediately and addressed the problem in a very professional manner. He is very knowledgeable but for me he was angel in disguise since I was on a road trip and from no where this Nissan showroom popped up! I am very impressed and will always be thankful to Me Karl. I also was given a spare car to go around while my on car was being serviced !

I would have given 5 stars for the amazing and professional sales team. Mic, Carly, Dwayne are all excellent at their jobs and very easy to work with. Unfortunately they are let down by an ignorant service manager.

I recently purchased a Lotus Evora in Montreal and figured I’d take it to Rendez-Vous Nissan for the mandatory Ontario safety inspection since I had such a great experience buying two other vehicles there. I waited 2 weeks for this appointment because of the winter tire rush but that’s to be expected. On the morning of my appointment, I am dropping the car off when the service manager overhears that it’s a Lotus and decides to insert himself into the process despite never having met me or looked at my vehicle at all. This person, on the last day of my temporary license plate has now decided to cancel my appointment because he “cannot lift” a Lotus. I’m a mechanic of 30 years and owned my own garage for 15 years so I explained that the car has more ground clearance than a Nissan 370z which they obviously have no trouble with. Even if that wasn’t the case any decent mechanic will simply drive the car into a couple pieces of wood to gain the clearance required to slide the feet of the lift under it. I reiterated not to worry though, because I’ve lifted this car myself and ground clearance is plentiful. Unconvinced this person is still telling me they can’t lift the car that, I remind you, he has never even looked at. Obviously frustrated and with a couple four letter words inserted for effect, I explained that this was all discussed when I made the appointment and that everything was in order until he got involved. Most importantly, the day of the appointment, at drop off, is NOT AN APPROPRIATE TIME TO CANCEL A CUSTOMER’S APPOINTMENT. Then to talk down to a customer who is rightfully annoyed by your ineptitude and chastise him for swearing… really??? Are you a 50 something professional or a 5 year old girl clinging to a security blanket and a swear jar?

I wouldn’t trust this person to manage a Blockbuster Video and they don’t even exist anymore.
It’s a shame because like I said, the sales team are excellent.

Bought a used 2020 Lincoln from here recently. Daniel was my salesman and he was very helpful and upfront/open about the transaction. Same thing goes for the finance manager, Carly. Both were very helpful, relaxed, transparent, and did not pressure any decisions or answers. A very hassle-free and stress-free buying process. If more dealerships were like this I believe they would have a much better reputation.
I would definitely buy another vehicle from them but hopefully I don’t have to!

Their service has made errors with no apologies. 2 hours after having my oil changed, and just shortly after entering the highway, I heard a loud bang as my hood made a sudden movement. I had to pull over onto the shoulder and close my hood due to it popping open onto the safety. This was the second error after maintenance. The previous one was that the did not reconnect a wire from my battery terminal after servicing. I had to borrow a booster pack from a friend to get home. Both times they did not even apologize for the error. It is time to look for better service!

I had a recall checked on my car. Within 12 hours my check engine light came on. I went in and specifically asked for them to check if it had to do with the recall work they did.

45 minutes later they essentially said nothing was wrong and charged me $95. I was told it was most likely a dirty O2 sensor and the light wasn't on and to come back if the light came back on.

I have been to multiple shops when I had a check engine light come on in previous vehicles. Never once did anybody charge me a cent to plug in the sensor and tell me the code it read, and never once did it take longer than 2 minutes. Not only is it ridiculous to charge $95 to say nothing is wrong. But I also didn't ask them to do anything. I simply wanted to know if the light coming on was something they did or unrelated. Once they knew it was unrelated, they should have consulted me before moving forward with anything.

Just about the worst service I've ever had from a shop and will not be going back.

Was not able to drop off my vehicle on Nov 20 (Sunday) for Nov 21 appt as per arrangement. Called on Nov 21 and new appt was scheduled for Nov 22 so I drove back to Hawkesbury to leave my vehicle (Monday). Drove back for a 3rd time to Hawkesbury to pick up my vehicle at 4pm on Nov 22 (Tuesday) and the work had not been done (oil change and winter tires). My car was finally dropped off at my work on Wed Nov 23 at 11am. I was disappointed that no discount was applied to my bill. My friend (in a separate vehicle) and I drove 3 times to Hawkesbury from Alexandria.
