I had an awesome experience negotiating the price of a new car and trade in. All done within an hour over the phone and email. Probably one of the best experiences I've had. However, the pick up experience (with Taoson) was pretty horrible. They didn't know I was coming in, although I phoned a day earlier to confirm. No PDI was done, although I paid that fee. Drove off, realized there was no SD card in the navi system, had to go back. They forgot to tell me my rear mudguards weren't installed. Had to phone and ask why they weren't on. So, great negotiating experience but the follow-through on pick-up was very, very bad. I'd say even horrible.

Asked for a full vehicle inspection. They missed broken leaf spring, broken 4x4 drive, ceased parking brake, torn axle boot, burnt out dash light bulb. Very nice inspection...
Manager told me that they greased some parts, but when I checked it, I didn't find any signs of grease. At least they sprayed (not washed, they didn't even touch the roof) my car and took 39$ for that without telling me.

We found a car we liked on the website and came down to check it out. The car wasn’t available but we were able to test drive something similar while Samantha, the salesperson, arranged to have the car brought back for us to see. Samantha was very communicative and within a week we were test driving the car we had originally liked. Between her and the sales manager, we were able to negotiate a fair price, for both our trade in and the new vehicle. The experience was streamlined and convenient, and Samantha was very accommodating and ensured that all of our questions were answered. I was planning a car buyout, which I had initially purchased from Nissan Vancouver. Since Nissan Vancouver is closed, I tried to transfer my file to Southside Nissan, so I could complete the buyout through them. I called their number, and some lady at the reception i think answered, and took my details and said she will have somebody call me back, which never happened. I called them again, roughly after 2 weeks for the same thing, and also tried to explain to her that I called 2 weeks ago and that I was never called back, to which she sounded agitated and rudely replied that I never called, implying indirectly that I was for some reason lying. She however took my details again and told me that she will have someone call me, and till date I have never recieved that call back. Finally, I called North Vancouver Nissan and was given good help and great service.

Recently bought a certified preowned Nissan this week. After going to several other sales lots these people take the cake for most remarkable, they are very knowledgeable about their products, very courteous to customers, very professional and lastly very thorough with everything until the end. No sales pressure like other places I went, no smoke screens about the product you are interested in, and no BS. Car was listed on their website as on sale from $18,995 to $16,550. Went in and the manager said the sale price was $17,774. Tried to convince that $17,774 was the best price and didn't even acknowledge the website price. Total waste of time. Was actually planning on walking in and purchasing it today. I purchased a used car in this store 2 years ago. And they “highly recommended” me purchased a warranty which is refundable with 4 years or 40000 kilometres. I was double and triple checked with them, they guaranteed me that it is refundable once I reach the requirements either 4 years or 40000 kilometres. Recently I reached the 40000 kilometres and I’m asking for the refund from this insurance company and I was told that it could be only valid for reaching 4 years requirement because of the plan I signed. But no one told me this. How ridiculous it is. Cheated me when I purchased the vehicle. I lost couple thousands dollar just because I trusted the store I shouldn’t.

Arranged a test drive for a used leaf, came and drove car. Talked price, said I would go grab lunch while I checked with my wife. While at lunch sent sale rep an email to confirm price, he said that was the best price. Was on my way back to complete deal and got an email saying the car had sold and I should pick a different car. Seriously? Well I did, I bought an e-golf at a different dealership and couldn't be happier. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here as clearly they don't care about customer service. I even sent the manager an email and never heard back.

We were either misled and lied to by this dealership. James their EV sales manager is either lying to make a quick sale or he doesn’t want to admit that a mistake was made on their side. Instead, he’s try to blame the government for us missing out on $2,000 of rebate. On top of all that he’s rude and slimy in try to steal the a sale he never had anything to do with from another sales person. Do not shop here go across the Knight street bridge to the other dealership. Nissan you lost a customer for employing sleazy sales person.

I just recently bought a 2015 Nissan Rogue SL from James Ting. I had been to several different dealerships before visiting Southside Nissan and talking w/ James.
I found him to be very knowledgable, honest, funny, and not pushy at all. He spent easily an hour showing 2 different Rogue's to me, my wife, and dad. He answered all of our questions very clearly.
James saved me over $200 for the windshield repair that I had to do.

This comment is for service in November, 2018. I feel betrayed and I knew I had to write this review eventually. I had a leak in my ceiling that they weren't able to fix (although they did charge me for the time it took to not be able to fix it, which is not appropriate to me but it is not why I am giving the one star rating). Everyone was very nice. The person helping me made it seem like they wanted to look out for me, as I had confided in him that I just drove over 7000 km from Florida and I was moving to Vancouver as a single woman with a dream of getting a job before my visa expired. I don't know much about cars except that I try to learn as I go, and when the man at the counter told me I had to replace a belt or else I would be tragically stranded when it broke (without warning) my bullcrap radar went off. I went to another mechanic and all my belts were in perfect condition. I have been driving my car without any incident since. The man at this Nissan location lied to my face. Who tries to screw over a young woman that literally just drove into town? (Unfortunately, a lot of people, and definitely this place).

I went to this Nissan dealership last month. I was looking for a 1 or 2 year used vehicle, possibly a new Nissan Pathfinder. When I went inside and asked for a salesman, a man who identified himself as Henry came over to me. I told him I wanted to buy a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, or possibly a 1 or 2 year old used one if they had any in stock. He told me "No! We don't have any!"
I didn't quite understand, I thought he meant no used, so I asked if he could show me the new ones. He said "No, we don't have any....nothing for you."
I looked to through the window where there were about a dozen sitting there and didn't quite understand. I was about to point out that there was a lot of inventory there when he said "There's the door, your not buying anything from us!"
I told him I was in fact buying a new vehicle and I had a rental currently and wanted to purchase within the next two days.
He said again there's the door, turn around and get out.
I was quite shocked at this and glanced at the customer service woman who's face started turning red in shock. I started to walk out, decided to turn and ask her if I could speak to someone else, and Henry yelled out very loudly, "I told you where the door was, now turn back around and get out of my dealership!!"
Shocked, I simply walked out and left. As I did, I heard the customer service woman say to Henry, "why the hell did you just do that!? What is your problem now?" As I was walking to my rental, I looked through the window to see him leaning on the customer service desk talking with her.
I then left, and picked up my wife who was at a meeting about 2km away. She asked me if I found a new car, I told her what had just happened. We decided to call them, the customer service woman who I spoke to earlier answered. I asked her if I could speak to the sales manager. She asked who this was, I told her you might remember me, I was just there....to which she replied, oh yes...hold on.
She put her hand over the phone and I could hear her say .....he wants to talk to the manager now....muffled.....
She told me to hold on a moment and she will transfer.
Guess who was on the other line....Henry!! He made a bad attempt at changing his voice which was so intentional and badly done. He told me that he will take care of what just happened, and if he could have my full name and address. I declined to give it to him and then he hung up.

My wife and I drove across the bridge to Richmond, and a few hours later I was the proud new owner of a new 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I still don't know if I would have been happier in a 2015 Pathfinder, which is what I planned on buying that day, but I just couldn't bring myself to purchase a Nissan after that altercation.

I don't know if that salesman is psychopathic or just a very angry hateful man who likes to do things like this to people. I read a couple other posts here, and several more on other review sites, ALL claiming a salesman by the name of "Henry" either threatened, lied to, or dismissively wasted many peoples time. It seems clear that this dealership knows about his behaviour, and is protected by his co-workers for whatever reason.

I would recommend to anybody who is looking for a Nissan to stay away from this dealership. There are many others! I believe there are two more in Richmond, less than five minutes away. Other reviews speak to the horrible personnel at the parts dept as well. I don't know who the manager really is, but he/she obviously doesn't care about it's customers, employing someone like this in a customer service based industry.

Great location for servicing if you work downtown. It was a 3 minute walk to the new Canada Line that took me right downtown and back after work to pick up my car.
They have a shuttle service as well but I found the Canada Line quicker. Service was good as well but convienience is a big thing for me.
