I bought my Nissan Sentra brand new from River City Nissan few years ago and it has been one of the best purchases and experience for me. Customer service is top notch - friendly, helpful and personable.
Today I went for seasonal tire change and to replace my breaks. I had my breaks replaced elsewhere last time and they used cheap parts, so I learned my lesson and went back to the most trusted mechanics I know - at the Nissan dealership. Jamie’s smiley face at the service reception is always a pleasure to see. My car was serviced by Elwood Delaney and he is one of the best mechanics I’ve had. He inspected my tires before I left to make sure that I would be safe this winter. Once he did the multi point inspection he reminded me that I had a broken fog light too. I had totally forgotten about this and eventually decided to go ahead and change that too since they had one in stock anyway. And what to say about the breaks!!! I am thrilled to have crisp new breaks! My car is not shaking anymore. Elwood followed up with me to ask about the breaks and how they are. Yes, they are perfect! The parts they use at the dealership are high quality as I’ve changed my breaks there before. All in all, I will not go anywhere else to service my car but at the dealership. Peace of mind, quality of parts, amazing service, great people.

I went in early one morning after seeing a Ford F150 on their website. The truck wasn't even on the lot yet. We made a deal with a hand shake as long as the truck was as stated. I appreciated the hand shake, which I'm sure isn't done very often at many businesses these days. It lends to their customer service and how they treat their clients. The truck arrived a cpl days later, it was given a mechanical inspection, some repairs were done. I am very happy with River City Nissan and the care and attention shown by their staff.

Wow, what a great experience dealing with Carlton and everyone at River City Nissan.

I went to visit a couple of other dealerships in the neighborhood, and after dealing with disinterested or absent salespeople, had the good fortune to meet and work with Carlton at River City Nissan.

Carlton listened, and actively worked to understand what I wanted and was interested in. He handled my bad driving almost killing us both with aplomb and good humour, and didn’t bat an eye at multiple test drives and innumerable questions.

My husband and I needed to upgrade the size of truck we had, to a larger truck, in order to be able to tow a trailer etc. We decided a Nissan Titan was the best choice for us. In our search we found the perfect truck and it was offered at River City Nissan. Although we live in the lower mainland we took the drive to Kamloops to see/purchase the truck. Oops) Jim is low pressure and is very driven to get you into a vehicle that will suit your needs. Furthermore, Niki in finance is a dream to work with as well. Over the past two days I have spent nearly 6 hours in the dealershi with my 4 year old daughter and it was an absolute breeze. I am from Ontario my daughter teaches full time in a remote community 8 hrs away from Kamloops. Being a father and not being able to have hands on to help his daughter is a struggle. My daughter needed a vehicle that she could rely on in the interior. We shopped via the internet where we found River City. My daughter had phoned other dealerships to get info on used cars. It was not until she contacted Derrick at this dealership that even on the phone felt good. The entire experience was first class. Even from the other side of Canada my daughter worked through all the details with great and informative advice from the dealer.. Hell they even put her up in a hotel with a meal over night so she could drive back the next day.The trade in value we felt could have been higher is my only poor comment. She is now in a great Nissan Rogue. Met and trusted a great salesman. Hats off to dealer principal and the entire staff for being honest and helpful. Extremely aggressive sales - Beware
I received a text message from Darrick about selling my car and getting it assessed. I was told assessment was 15-20 mins. I agreed and went to the dealership. The sales team was very aggressive and wanted me to agree to sell my car without any offer or trade. "Are you okay with selling it to us today?" They asked this question three times. I told them I am only here because they were inquiring about my car and they were interested. I figured they would make a fair offer. They took my information, keys and were going to do a test drive. After 20 mins with my car still in the lot, I told them I have better things to do than wait. They finally came back with an offer. For them to buy me out of my financing and take my car, I would be out $1500. There is no incentive for me to sell my car. They contacted me and wanted me to sell. It was a good learning experience and I will never step foot in that dealership again. Nothing seems sincere about the way they handled this situation.

Leased a 2015 Sentra that had a heat system leak. Fogged the windows while you were driving and after the vehicle was warm. Asked Service numerous times to look at it, finally, after withholding payment, (I had not been late or missed any payments until that point) they addressed the issue. They test and say there is nothing wrong and change the antifreeze to one that will be under warranty longer.
I personally have replaced 2 heater cores in my time. Most of the time they are bolted to the firewall behind the dash and very hard to get to. Its an expensive job to repair in general...across brands.

This is a lease, and i was planning on buying the car...my first New vehicle. I will not buy a car with a heat system leak, no way. Now, they are repoing for those missed months of payment, 3....and in my eyes the sale price needs to include the gassing of occupants with antifreeze. I have credible witnesses as to the state of that vehicles heating system. If I could rank this business lower than one star i would. The Grey 2015 Sentra still has a heater system leak that is inhaled by any occupants when running intermittently.

I was not the first to break the contract Nissan and I had. By not honoring the service contract and repairing the heat system leak in a timely fashion they forfeited my obligation to honor our contract.
