The Service department is a joke. I'm getting pretty tired of doing their and the mechanics jobs for them. First problem, 1-1.5 years after buying me vehicle brand new, my brake light failed. Since they apparently have the best warranty in the business I expected this faulty piece to be covered under warranty. I had my gf call in for me as I was working out of town. They said I had to pay for the part and didn't know which bulb I needed. I called them up and told them I need a bulb for my brake light. They proceeded to ask me which one that is. I told them to go in their parking lot and figure it out. I shouldn't have to tell you what the part is. Second major issue, brought my vehicle in for a starting issue. Vehicle spent over a week at the dealers with no fix. Took it home, figured it out in a matter of 30 minutes. First off, the starter was loose, which wasn't their fault but I guess they didn't even look at the new starter that I had installed somewhere else. Second, all I did was test the wiring between the starter and the recoil since everything else from the recoil to the ignition seemed to work perfectly fine. I replaced the wire and voila! Problem fixed! This was a starter 101 fix. Third issue now, scheduled myself in to get a recall done. Because they couldn't open the hood, the latch or cable was seized, they put my vehicle outside and sent me on my way to figure it out. Isn't this a Mechanic Shop?? The right thing to do would have been to ask me if I would like them to fix this. I was already there, they could have made a couple hundred bucks off of me. After messing around for a couple hours I managed to get my hood opened by removing the 3 bolts holding the hood latch in place. Now I had to drive back to the dealer, 1 hour round trip to get a hood latch cable to replace myself and now return to the dealer for a 3rd time to get the recall fixed. What kind of service is this? Make a customer return 3 times when they should have offered the first time to get the hood open and fix it, especially since they had the hood latch cable in stock! These are only a few of what I experienced here.

Under no circumstances would I recommend the Mid North Mitsubishi service department. Initially I brought my outlander in because of the loud noise that it was making. When I left the dealership with an $800 bill for various repairs the car was still making the same noise. I scheduled a second appointment where the mechanic almost immediately diagnosed the problem as an issue with the bearing after driving the car for less than 500 metres. Clearly, they did not take for a road test the first time. I needed to schedule a third appointment (which could not be scheduled for two weeks) to have the bearing replaced. When I called to see how repairs were going I was informed that it would be 8-10 days before my car would be returned as they could not reassemble the car as they were waiting for a part. The service person suggested that I ask a friend to borrow a car for ten days (because we all have friends who would be happy to lend us a car for over a week). Naturally, when I called to speak to the service manager he/she was in a meeting. So I am now without a vehicle for 8-10 days! Any other dealership would have offered a rental or demo. This is not the first time that I have brought my car in for service only to have to return it because the initial problem was not actually resolved.

The service department and parts department are very knowledgable, courteous, and seem to inspire a feeling of confidence, knowing that your vehicle will be looked after and repaired properly. I am very pleased with this Dealership and I found that their labour charges are comparable to most other automotive repair shops in the city. It is the first time that I have taken my vehicle to a Dealership to be repaired, and was very surprised when I paid the bill. I was expecting to pay at least another hundred dollars. They have my vote. Here the costumer is treated like you're a somebody.

When I went into this dealership in Sudbury I had my car looked at. they asked me if there was anything wrong when I brought my car in and I said when I back up my front wheel kind of squeaks and it makes an odd noise. I purchased my car off thetdealership lesslthen a year ago. he they went on to tell me that I had two bent rims and that they were going to rotate it great. still drove my car and the sound in the front was still present and not corrected. also when I went in for my maintenance check up they were supposed to reset the computer so that the next time I went in it would be on the correct mileage. after leaving the dealership I had to drive back in order to get them to reset the computer in my car which I believe I shouldn't have had to have done. They had the parts guy do it and he said it was correct and that it counts down. And I told him it didn't make sense then he googled it and programmed it. Not impressed

Booked an appointment and requested a few out of the ordinary items.
Upon arrival, the lady at the service counter was very helpful and thorough. They ensured to take notes of my specific requests (even to use aftermarket material I purchased and brought to them), included some recalls that were outstanding, and made me aware of the time required for the work involved in the service (including the price of the material and estimate for labour).

When I picked up the car they reviewed the bill with me and what work was complete. It matched the original estimate exactly. They even provided feedback on the overall condition of the car (it’s 11 years old).

I’ll definitely be bringing my car to them for services - no surprises and great help.

I would like point out that being a young person looking to purchase a vehicle I was almost immediately told that anyone under 30 wouldn’t be approved without a co-signer before I gave any of my info which threw me off a little. Turns out I didn’t need a co-signer so it worked out. I’m very happy with my purchase, I have a safe reliable vehicle plus all the fancy upgrades I’ve never had before!

But I had a service done on my lancer and about 4 days later my engine light came on so I checked all my fluids to discover the engine oil had black flacks in it and the oil looked like it’s been in there for months. Was not happy with the service

It's not often you can roll into a shop with a 22 year old, imported, 4wd van - and find anyone willing, let alone able, to fix it. These guys were willing to try regardless, and also kind enough to not take me to the cleaners for the headache. Thankfully, my repair was not extreme and didn't require any unique parts.

Eternally grateful for the super friendly service, it was a long stressful winter drive across the country.

I had a mechanic intentionally spill oil from my oil drain plug to make it look like that is where the engine oil was going
The motor was noisy from day one.the recal did not solve anything but my time..
after 30.000.Ks.I needed warn out seat.tires.wiper blades a 1000 $heater core that I had to fight to get replaced.and the motor is still making noise.the dealership is a scam I have not been there in three years..they can shove there is 10year warenty up there jack ass

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! Took my car in to have an abs recall done. Dropped it off at 8am. Get a call in the afternoon saying the brakebleeder screws were seized and had to be replaced. NOTE: I had bled the brakes the night before to make sure this would not be an issue and everything was fine. The car was perfectly fine before taking it in, apart from the brake pedal going to the floor. Anyways, was told it would be no more than a "couple of bucks", so foolishly i gave the go ahead, as they said they could not do the recall without replacing them. Anyways, get a call that my car is ready so i go to pick it up. Find out i was being charged $54 dollars for 4 goddamn bleeder screws. What the hell!. Oh yeah, my brakes still go to the floor. And, they broke my car key by cracking the casing. The gentlemen behind the parts counter proceeded to blame it on me. Going in tomorrow to speak to the service manager as he/she was gone for the day. So pissed off at the quality of work and customer service at this dealership. What a disgrace.

Avoid Mitsubishi altogether. Parts and labour are way too expensive. The mechanics at this particular location are idiots. They were going to charge an extra hour just because a bolt was too difficult to remove. One bolt = $112! Didn't want to honour their own warranty and can't fix a recall issue (2 years and counting). Would give it no stars if I could.
