We bought a new CX-5 about a month ago from Coastline Mazda. I was able to negotiate online with them and got a competitive price compare to other island dealerships. No surprises upon delivery. Allen and Brandon were very responsive to our requests. I had a little concern about the paint a week after our purchase. Allen sent a professional detailer to our house and made it right. Brandon called us a week and a half later to make sure we were satisfied with vehicle. They really do all they can to make us happy.
Genuine nice people and my next car will be bought here. They are so nice to my mom and myself. Alex L who washed my awful suv is a really nice guy. Sales people are never pushy to me and we love the CX5 that we bought. Highly recommend them!
I used to like this place until recently. Service labor rates are far too high for my taste. The work was fine but I won't be back for service or to ever purchase a vehicle here again. This coming from someone who bought 2 brand new Mazda's for myself and took my son their for his new vehicle purchase.
By far the pushiest salesperson I have ever dealt with, in any capacity. Was more interested in moving a car off the lot than helping me with what I wanted. Done with Campbell River Mazda.

The entire team was friendly, and professional. They worked with my scheduling needs and were very clear on the work to be done. When I picked up my car, Jessica took the time to run down the list of items on the maintenance list and how they were addressed. I have complete confidence in the @CoastlineMazda team. And with my complimentary car wash, I felt like I was driving away in a brand new vehicle.
Great purchase on a truck. Decent staff but offset by the fact I was given a truck with tire work not done properly and after 2 months from purchase started losing wheel nuts on the rear tire while driving....luckily my kid was not in the vehicle and nothing worse happened. No apology, the did pay for it at least.

We used coastline Mazda to service our mx5. Staff is always friendly and informative, careful to make sure we know what to expect from the service and the cost. A complimentary car wash is always a added on. A loaner car is available for longer appointments. Overall a pleasant experience

Brandon Doak provided excellent service from my first contact to after purchase including calling me a few days later to check if everything was going well with the Mazda 3 that I purchased. I originally sent an email making an inquiry about specific car and received a response the first business day. Stephanie Welsh explained financial details, etc thoroughly and I appreciated her non-aggressive approach explaining warranties and additional services.. I ordered my 2020 Mazda 3 Sport GT AWD in July, 2019; and it was one of the first 2020 arriving from Japan in September! It turned out to be a GREAT car. It is both a good handling urban car and a great long distant cruiser. The various computerized "driver's aids" turned out to be very useful and helped me to enjoy my long distance driving.
The sales and service teams at Coastline is one of the best around. They truly want me to enjoy this Mazda experience, which turned out to be just great. The price is fair, the sales team is exceptional, after sales support is quick and efficient. The service department truly want me to have a good car and any initial issues were resolved quickly and effectively.
In closing, I have no reservation in recommending Coastline to any future prospective buyers.

Went into Coastline Mazda with just about as rough a credit as it gets, and they managed to get me set up with a good used vehicle and on the road.
Staff was great, vehicle's been great, loan was rough but making car payments and working through it has done wonders for my credit rating.
Definitely will be my first stop when I eventually replace my car!

My Mazda Cx-3 was coming up on the end of its lease, having had such a great experience with my first one I was keen to stick with coastline Mazda for my next car. I drove up from Victoria one weekend and test drove the new cx-5 and loved it! All the new safety features! I decided that’s the car I wanted and coastline made it happen. I came back a few weeks later to pick it up and I can’t stress enough how effortless and painless the process was to get into my new ride! Everyone at this dealership is genuine and welcoming, so much so that I choose to get my car serviced here rather than in Vic if I can :) I have and will continue to recommend this dealership to friends and family given how great of an experience I continue to have.
I'd like to thank the entire team at Coastline Mazda for a great car buying experience. From the demonstration of the vehicle to wrapping up the paperwork, it was extremely smooth and easy. It was very difficult for me to let go of my BMW, but once Troy MacDonald showed me the features of the Mazda, it was a lateral move...and MORE - with a bonus of no longer needing to pay for premium gas! Mazda's have come a long way and have definitely evolved into being a luxury brand. If you're looking for a new vehicle, Coastline Mazda is the way to go. We bought our new CX5 from Coastline Mazda 3 years ago and it was a positive experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although I live an hours drive away , I've taken my vehicle in for regular servicing. Twice they recommended servicing that , when I checked the manual afterwards , was not needed. The first was a cabin filter that they recommended replacing after 1 year...the manual says 2 years...and they charged $50 labour to change it. I questioned the labour charge and they said it was somewhat complicated to do. I went on YouTube and it takes all of 2 minutes to remove the glove box and replace the filter. I pointed that out to them and they gave me a credit for the next servicing bill. Fast forward approx 2 years and I was in for a regular oil change and while the vehicle was on the hoist ,they recommended changing the rear differential oil and not having access to the manual I agreed to it. When later reading the manual, I found it was only under certain extreme conditions that it should be changed every 5 years. My vehicle was not even 3 years old and had not been subjected to those conditions.
I will NEVER be dealing with Coastline Mazda again. They have lost my trust. Their business model appears to be treating their loyal customers as marks to be cheated and overcharged...not a sustainable practice.

Jessie at the customer service desk was the only good thing about this place. I came in to look at a used vehicle and after I decided to back out the sales team pressured me into it anyways. I may have a weak constitution but that by no means should give them the right to push me to do something I repeatedly said I don't want to do. During the 7 months I have had the vehicle it has had multiple mechanical failures. I poured a few thousand dollars into getting these fixed at the dealership and now it won't even turn on. I am in debt $12k and I have nothing to show for it thanks to Mazda.
Please, before you think of buying a vehicle here, consider ANY other option.

I was able to have my vehicle evaluated and fixed promptly in a rather unorthodox means of communication with the service manager, Jessica. She was very accommodating in working with my busy work schedule and always kept me up to date with issues relating and progress made with its repair. The mechanics did a wonderful job solving all my problems and getting it back on the road for use. Very fair and informative. It runs like a dream now! Thanks.

As always Coastline Mazda goes the extra mile. Even though I live in Victoria I have bought two cars at Coastline Mazda in Campbell River, the First because of a friend’s Recommendation. This visit was because I needed a small maintenance service and it was quicker to do it in Campbell Rivet than Victoria. The friendly staff, starting with Jessica, got my car in quickly and advised that I needed more work than I had originally thought and why I needed it. Jessica quickly got me set up with a loaner car to get me to work then called at the agreed time to report the work was done. Quickly did the exchage of cars, paid the bill and left with a nice fresh bottle of water! These little details show how much the staff care and how committed they are to top-notch service. Try them out!
Coastline always make me feel welcome and taken good care of from the moment I arrive until I leave with a bottle of water for the road.
