We had the best salesman ever when we purchased our 2020 Telluride SX on December 6th. Todd was a terrific and knowledgeable person to deal with. On a scale of 1 thru 5 we'd give Todd a 6. He continues to stay in contact to insure that we're satisfied with our purchase and he always has a quick response to all questions we text or call on. He always goes that extra mile to make sure we understand the workings of the many extras in the vehicle.
Jeff handled the warrantees and vehicle enhancements most adequately.
An issue we had was that the Penticton Kia dealership had no color leather swatches for their leather interiors, the color pictures that the Sales Manager received from another dealership were very misleading.
Hands down the worst car buying experience I've ever had. We spent 20k on dirty car that was on empty when we were 23weretold it would be washed and ruled up. The sales manager is super cheap and went back on his word after the papers were signed when we asked for a safety issue to be fixed. They also damaged our car during a tire swap then denied responsibility. The sales manager completely ruined what was supposed to be a happy time buying new car for our now extended family. Never in a million years would I recommend them to anyone.
This dealership have an awesome and friendly staff especially Patrick, Aziz and Jr.. They gave us a lot of options that could fit to our budget. The service and sales department here are second to none! They were so patient with us as we did all our research before we bought our 2019 Sorento (in 2018). After we bought the Sorento, there was a mechanical error and the service department worked until they found the problem and fixed it for us. I honestly can't recommend them enough! In 2019 I purchased a Kia, really enjoyed driving the vehicle and had super good service with the maintenance team while I had the car. In early April, I was in an accident and my car was written off. I knew I wanted another Kia so I started dealing with the Penticton team, looking to replace my car. The car that was in the showroom was the car I wanted to drive, it was unfortunate I was unable to test drive it. Once I received my final payout I went directly to the dealership to purchase the car. I have struggled with the finance department the entire time trying to finish this transaction. On May 14th I was told that I would receive a phone call first thing in the Morning on the 15th from the finance manager. I waited patiently and didn't receive a phone call. I visited the dealership around noon and dealt with the Sales Manager, asked where the phone call was, I was told he was on a delivery. Clearly sales are not needed out of this dealership.

Hid important details until after I already made the trip down to look at it. Test drove and told them about some major issues I discovered while driving ex .5th grinds, no 4x4-lo, ac is intermittent and so on, after which they said they were already aware of all the issues. When something happens like that, makes you think they weren't going to tell you unless you discovered it before purchase. Cant be sure about that but sure felt like I was being tricked into a quick purchase. Would not advise buying used vehicles from them, and if you do, get a Mechanic from a shop you trust to look it over.

I own a 2016 Kia Soul. March 15 my heater made a weird "clunk" and had issues working after that. I went to Penticton Kia the following Monday to see what could be done. The mechanic (Will H) took apart the dash to diagnose the heater issue and discovered I needed a new Heater Housing Assembly. The part and repair were covered under warranty. The part took a few days to come in. The mechanic did an amazing job to dismantle that dash a second time to repair the heater. The staff is amazing, the work is amazing, and the work done was perfect. Thanks to everyone that I dealt with. I also had a phone call follow up a few days later to make sure that I was happy.

Went into KIA this past weekend after looking for a vehicle. Was honestly not expecting to stay there long as some not so great past experiences. Called to inquiry about a vehicle I seen online and had the pleasure of speaking with one of their salesmen, Todd. He was very polite and helpful on the phone, not pushy at all! So decided to go in. Todd, John, and Jeff helped me to pick a vehicle and were very helpful and kind. When I got the car and afterwards was having a bit of regret about it, Todd was very nice and eager to help me get into a different vehicle if I had wanted, as well was Jeff with allowing me to go over the purchase again. All around really helpful, caring staff, and would recommend them!
Walked in cold, went straight to Jeff and laid out my situation. He got me out of my lease on an off brand and financing on a '15 Sorrento. Al Rowland was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Was looking at a used SUV from a different brand. And WOW. Very impressed with Kia. Will definitely be back for my next vehicle.
We were shopping around for a new mini van and the quality, cost and service at Penticton Kia made this big decision much easier for us. We happened to be shopping just before Christmas due to the issues we had with our previous van and really needed a new vehicle before we go skiing. Other dealers told us that it would take weeks to get a new vehicle but at Kia it was a matter a few days and we got our new vehicle on Christmas Eve! Everyone at Kia worked really hard just so we can have a car (with a new set of winter tires) before Christmas and they didn't mind working a little longer than they expected on Christmas Eve. Bought a pre-owner 2013 Kia Rio and I will be back to buy another when this one is due for an upgrade. Never agree over the phone that you like a picture of a used vehicle if you're wanting to buy one. Got a pic of a truck sent to me and i said it looks really nice.
They took it upon themselves to run the credit to get the truck without me having the time to test drive it.
Come to find out the truck had major issues that they never revealed to me. I had to find out the problem after my credit was aproved. The whole drive train plus front end was worn out from 150000 km of neglect, that they knew about and already made steps to patch before I took it for a test drive.

purchase is wonderful. Traded in my Sorrento and the whole process was seamless. They have employed a new salesman Mike Eaton and by far he is the best I have ever dealt with. He was very knowledgeable and more importantly gave me his honest opinion even though it meant I bought a vehicle that was less expensive. That to me is the best definition of customer service.

The experince my family had in purchasing our new car with this dealership was amazing. Our salesman Todd was great to deal with. There was no pressure from him to buy a car and he and John both went above and beyond to assit my wife and I in buying our new 2019 kia sorrento. The finance manager Jeff was great in explaining all of our options from buying extended warranty and insurances. This was by far our best new car buying experince from a dealership that we've ever had. On a side note ive never had it where you also meet the owner of the dealership who comes to personally thank you for ypur business. I also appreciated the onsite insurance service we recived which just made our whole experince exceptional.

Just purchased a new Kia Sportage from Penticton Kia. I was treated with courtesy and respect throughout the entire process. Randy, the Sales Manager was extremely helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. He continually monitored the entire process and was very cordial, making the you feel very welcome. He also ensured that a qualified individual walked me through the check list. Melinda, the Service Manager was also very helpful, ensuring I received my vehicle on schedule and that everything was working properly. A great experience and would certainly recommend Penticton Kia to anyone!
We went into the dealer to test drive a used Sorento to find out it had 3,000 more kilometers on it than advertised, and big scratch and dent in the rear passenger side door. The salesman did not even introduce himself. I felt like he didn't want to sell us anything at all. We came in there to make a deal with our Mercedes Benz GL320 and they completely lowballed us with $1600 trade in!!! (It's a 2008, fully loaded.) The manager didn't even come out and talk to us or even acknowledge we were there. Very disappointed!!. I was sold on that Sorento before we even got there. Even with the higher kilometers. They would have had to fix the passenger door though. Super unimpressed with how things happened and a HUGE waste of time.
The service department has really slipped. They were great a year or more ago, but now they are the worst I have ever encountered. They even forget that they have my vehicle, and have to rush to get it ready when I return to pick it up. They are evidently unable to diagnose and fix problems, and charge for work that does not even address the problem. I wound up having to pay someone else to fix their shoddy work, including: loose wheel nuts, loose oil filter, loose oil drain plug, incorrectly adjusted brakes. Their incompetence could have damaged my car or even killed me! I sure won't be going back to this nightmare place. EDIT: note that the dealer response does not dispute any of these facts, and they don't give a PARTIAL refund unless they know they are wrong. And the reason they could not reach me is that despite me giving them the correct phone number numerous times, they kept using a different one. They really are that bad.
I have an Infinity and I usually drive to Kelowna, and due to the lacking service there on my last visit, I decided to stayed local. What a surprise !!! The service department was great. I will be supporting this great group from now on.
