Had a really good experience at the Kia dealership in Lethbridge. Landon helped us and he was so polite and not pushy at all! Even though we decided to go with a used Nissan instead of Kia that they had at their dealership, he was very encouraging in what we wanted and didn’t push us to go for a Kia. He also tried to understand and give us time to go through our budget and figure out what was best for us. He also tried to find us as good of a deal as he could! I truly recommend Landon to help find your vehicle, we felt like we knew him for years and he made everything super easy and understanding. He also checked in with us after our purchase to see how everything was going and if we had any questions or concerns! As for the dealership itself, very clean and friendly staff! The only thing that I would recommend is when talking about buying vehicles, it shouldn’t just be the price of the vehicle that is talked about biweekly or monthly pricing but the cost of documentation or any other costs that are added on to the price before even signing or getting approved. Almost like a quote, so that the purchaser is not taken off guard by anything and knows exactly what each cost is for and why. 😀

Vehicle prices unmarked, no spec sheets, no fuel economy (LEGALLY REQUIRED IN ALBERTA), no MSRP, pushy sales people more concerned with whether you're credit worthy than what car you're interested in. Demand... not request but DEMAND your SIN to do credit check before you even get to see specs, let alone test drive. Completely unethical. Privacy breach when your salesman can give you your credit score but your bank is not allowed to.

Deceptive marketing practices are employed to lure potential customers , they do not honour their posted sale prices or statements that all costs are included in posted sale prices, they do not want customers that are wanting to pay cash ( they want you to finance your purchase to get kick backs from financial / loan providers), if you do not need a loan they will add other fees to plump the contract, they will say they made an error in posted sale price and that they will lose money on it so they will add a "worry free plan" at 1299$ and documentation fee of 999$ for used and 699$ for new and won't sell unless you agree but week later said vehicle is still listed everywhere, car gurus, fb market place ,their website at the same price no corrections .
I've since learned that they have a horrible reputation in the industry amongst their peers and former employees. Bad business let it and its affiliates die a quick death do not shop there .
One star is 10 times too many for this experience ,can only imagine what i saved myself from by walking away # AMVIC needs to continue their investigation! As i have come to be told that they are

GO SEE LANDON!!!!! I was looking to trade my car in I went to 2 different dealerships in Medicine Hat , they 1. Forgot who I was after a week (after I had given them all my information and I mean all of it) and I had to provide it again 2. Been 2 weeks now and Again I haven’t heard from them still.
I get a call from Landon at Lethbridge Kia, told him what I wanted, and I kid you not, we had it done and locked in within an hour. When I contacted Kia Lethbridge I was so excited to find out they had 1 2022 Kia Seltos in stock. After I explained to Kumal that I did not have a vehicle currently as I had just mived back to Alberta so I was unsure when I would be able to get to Lethbridge. Everyone at Kia Lethbridge was so helpful that i was able to complete the sale all online. Since I had no way to get to Lethbridge Kumal was kind enough to deliver the Seltos right to my door. I recently financed a car from them and my budget was 20k-25k but they got me a car for a 36k I liked don't get me wrong but when I went to sign the last paper the total was around 46k which is a rib off and after having the car for only 10 days I called them to say that I wanted to somehow to return the car or reimburse because I got accept to go to college and I no longer afford to pay for the car but no they told me they can't do anything even though I made it clear that I will no longer have money to pay for the car, I except a better customer service but no they're not and I'm very upset and now I no longer drive the car and I'm looking to figure something out to get rid of it and pay it off because its not worth it at all.

My husband and I were looking at getting an SUV for our growing family. We were interested in a couple of different Kia vehicles. Kia got in a Telluride and we were seriously interested in it. Kia was asking $5,000 above MSRP and they offered $3,000 below trade in value for our Cadillac. We declined. A couple's weeks after that we went to Kia, just to look. We didn't go into the dealership, just around the parking lot. We didn't even get out of our car before we had a different sales man running out to us. Would not take no for answer. We told him we were just interested in looking and he kept pushing. My husband and I do not like the very aggressive and pushy sales tactics. So we took our business to another dealership and bought a different SUV.
Since Kia is under new ownership/management (they use to be under Murray), I feel like they have gone down in customer service.

Seems kinda pointless now, if they don't know they exist unlikely they'll be able to answer questions. Salesman; know thy product. On a positive both reception and the sales person were very friendly.

Be VERY careful when dealing with these guys or you will end up paying $6k - $7k more than you expect. Ask to see the base model, they will show you the next model up. Need a block heater? It comes in a package deal with lifetime oil changes for $3k. Even after you tell the salesman to remove all the extras you don't want, when you get passed on to the next person they magically reappear and more! Oil changes ($3000), documentation fee ($500), protection package (undercoat, fabric treatment etc), even life and disability insurance! If you're attracted by their promise of 0% financing, you can forget that too. Best you can hope for is 3% and only if you have the highest credit rating. Beware also of any promises they make. We gave them 7 hours lead time for when we would pick up the car. We were told it would be cleaned and full of fuel when we got it. Surprise! The tank was empty and the car was filthy. Stay clear of this place. If you must deal with them be very cautious and question everything.

If I could give less than one star I would. I took my (very well taken care of) vehicle in for a recall. They did a full vehicle inspection and quoted me for over $800 of repairs. If needed, this is fine. However, after taking my car to fountain tire, they confirmed that everything that was quoted was unnecessary at this time. One of the things I was quoted for was a serpentine belt replacement, they said it was frayed. Fountain Tire said there isn’t even a crack in it, let alone damaged enough to need replacing. I was also quoted a brake flush, which was later confirmed is barely even a thing, let alone necessary. As a young female, I feel like I was taken advantage of and will never return to Lethbridge Kia. Extremely disappointed in the man who quoted me these things, as well as the owners of this dealership for letting this happen. If possible, take your vehicle elsewhere.

I came here with a specific type of car in mind. The dealer (Nav) was professional and listened to my intentions throughout. They were open to negotiation on the purchase, but it wasn't high pressure, and I was able to get a great deal on a new hybrid Kia Niro. They weren't able to offer a great price for the trade in, but me pulling that lower offer didn't change the offered price for the new vehicle. The finance department was helpful, modifying my loan to a shorter term and laying out the options. They were happy to cut a referral cheque for a friend who owns a Kia. Additionally, they were willing to deliver the vehicle to my home, 20 minutes out of town, on the night of purchase, after the dealership was closed. Really above and beyond service IMO.

If I had any constructive feedback, I would recommend increased training or knowledge specifically on Hybrid, PHevs, and EVs. Although Southern Alberta is not a relatively popular place for these types of vehicles, lack of knowledge from the dealers only feeds and exacerbates this fact. Perhaps a single dealer who can be the "expert" on these is a balanced approach to this challenge.
