My in-laws were traveling from Ottawa with Family from Banff when their Sante Fe died. Thankfully, Cape Breton Hyundai had an engine in stock and did their absolute best to get them back on the road to Ottawa as quickly as possibly. They kept them informed, ordered the parts needed, worked with their insurance and warranty, and provided excellent customer service. Being from Ottawa, we hope to never need their services again, but we would recommend them to anyone in the Cape Breton area without fail

Horrible. They were not helpful. My appointment was for an Oil change and a conversation with a service guy about the problems I am having with the phone because the Bluetooth is not working on my 2021 Hyundai Palisade.My appointment was for 130 and I arrived at 125. They never finished the Oil Change until 330. When I tried to talk to the guy about the phone issue he sent me to someone else who came out to my car and treated me with so little respect that I basically told him I would call Hyundai to report this appalling treatment from the staff at cape Breton Hyundai. I honestly feel that if I were a guy he would not have been so disrespectful. I have never received such poor treatment from a car dealership.

The guys @ Cape Breton Hyundai went above and beyond for us. We crossed from Newfoundland in our 2019 Veloster, when we tried to start the car in Sydney, there was no crank. We were an hour waiting for answers from our main dealership in St. John's with no help. We called the nearest Hyundai and the service guys did everything they could to help us out and get us on our way! The driver that picked up up was the friendliest guy I've met in a long time. We had a great chat about hobbies & interests, family & history. 10/10 to everyone @ the Cape Breton Hyundai🔥

Friendly staff, we were greeted at the door, and our salesman was ready for us. I had spoken to him the previous day, so he knew what we were looking for and had a demo car ready for us to take for a test ride. They went over all the details of the sale with us and made us feel as if they appreciated our business.

Great customer service.
Very rude and degrading. Was in the market to purchase a new 2020 vehicle and was humiliated in front of other customers. The so called general manager, Todd, was very rude and talked down to me. Told me I couldn’t afford the “luxury” of the top end Santa Fe. Walked out and went across the street and bought a “luxury” Acadia - Denali. Wouldn’t buy from them if they were the only dealership on the island as long as Todd is running the place.

Best car dealership hands down on the island, if you’re thinking of making a purchase of a new or used vehicle this is the place you have to check out before you finalize anything else, they want to make sure you’re happy with what you’re purchasing and they keep you happy with service after the sale !! It is like none other!! Have bought three vehicles from them and will continue to do so !!
Very disappointed of the service I have received with the service department. Both my mother and myself had been talked down to when we have went in with questions about our 2012 Elantra. Over the last year we had the air bag light on, with doing research online my mother noticed that in the states they had started a recall of this part. My mother went into Hyundai mentioning that she had read about the recall and was wondering if it would be happening with us. It was going to cost over $250 to get the part before labour. The man she spoke to told her that it had been “ a waste of time and not to believe everything she reads online”. Roughly three weeks later we received the letter in the mail about the recall... I myself had gone into Hyundai due to the jack from the Elantra breaking and dropping the car while I was about seconds from taking the flat off, luckily not falling on me. Going into the service department I made sure I had pictures of the broken jack which when broke went through my rocker panel as well. The two men who spoke with me first blamed the rocker panels (which had been replaced about a year a half ago, still currently in good condition), I had asked if one of the men could go look at the vehicle. He went out looking at the car to come back in to say I had placed the jack in the wrong place. Knowing very well that I hadn’t because of reading the manual many times, I then showed him the pictures of the jack stuck in rocket panel of the car in its correct spot which he then agreed it had been placed in the proper spot. Hearing this led me to believe the man didn’t even look under the car because you can see the hole in the rocker panel where the jack was placed. I was told there was nothing at all they could do and I would have to call a 1-888 number which I proceeded to do and was told that it is something that is done through the dealership... I would recommend if you are a women to not go to Cape Breton Hyundai, I’m not the first women I know who has been spoken down to at this dealership. Very disappointed, it’s 2019.

Cape Breton Hyundai has been my "go-to" for vehicles for a number of years. Just purchased my 3rd Accent, plus owned an Excel before that. I have always been treated with respect (not seen at some other dealers, especially as I am a woman). From salespeople to service, have always been treated well. Love our new car, and loved my previous Hyundai vehicles.

My family has purchased cars from this dealership for years, and when it was my turn to buy a vehicle I purchased a Hyundai because I knew I would be given great customer service in their Parts and Service Department.
Before I use this Hyundai dealership i'd like to know more about the dismissal of their employee Mr.Robert Romard. It seems the owners are bullying this former employee and obstructing Canadian free speech....brrrr.
