I recently brought my Honda Pilot in to change out my winter tires to all seasons. The agent was very prompt and took in my info. I very much appreciate the curtesy ride home so I don’t have to wait around. Shortly after I got home I received a call and was informed my rear breaks needed to be replaced. They were able to replace the pad under lifetime warranty so the price was reduced. I very much appreciate the effort as I didn’t plan for the extra work. Thanks Carter Honda!

I dropped by to get my food trucks generator serviced late Friday afternoon. I received a call Saturday afternoon to let me know it was all serviced and ready to go. I called almost every dealer in the lower mainland and in the end no one could compete with Carter Honda. Joel from sales went above and beyond what needed to be done. I had something that needed to be done a couple days later and the entire team at Carter made sure i got what i needed. I rarely do reviews, but i had to for these guys. If you want a good experience with no added fees (most dealerships added fees once i arrived) go to Carter the owner is a very honest down to earth guy. We were introduced to James when we walked in and right away we could tell that this was going to be better. James was super friendly, down to earth, and honest. He let us take a few cars out for test drives and was very knowledgeable about them. This was our first experience buying an electric car and he took all of our questions about the range, charging etc and could actually answer them! Which, let me tell you, was not like my previous experiences.
Through the negotiation process James and his Sales Manager were great to work with. We never felt that we were being taken advantage of and believe we got a great deal with them. Even after we closed on the car and we had questions about the car or checking the tire pressure, James was quick to respond back to us and even helped me on Black Friday when they were VERY busy to get a replacement battery for one of the Fobs and fix the tire pressure notification.

I went into Carter Honda hearing horror stories about shark-y sales staff at car dealerships. When I spoke to Alan Li, that was definitely NOT the case. Alan was genuine and approached me as if I were a close friend of his. He was very knowledgable and professional throughout our interaction and it was evident that he clearly cared about my best interests; asking and understanding about my budget, needs, etc. If you ever are looking for a vehicle make sure to look for Alan Li! You will not be disappointed!

Went in for a quick consultation as I am looking to purchase my first car. I spoke with salesman Alan Li, he was very knowledgeable and gave me great realistic recommendations. Overall i had a great experience with Bill. He is a really chill dude and very helpful on many thing. However, i told them this was my first time purchasing a car and i felt a little uncomfortable when one of the managers said to me, "can you give me a good reason why you don't want to get your signature down and buy the car right now?" Well, duh it was my first time buying a car so i didnt want to rush into making such a decision. But like i said, overall was great.

Had a great experience buying a new car at Carter Honda. Nick Ng helped me and cannot recommend him enough. He was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Having a toddler and newborn at home, it’s not easy to find time to come into the dealership. He was able to answer a lot of my questions over the phone and even came in late one night after his shift was already over to meet me at the dealership. Thankfully the dealership is open late so I was able to come in after I put my kids to bed. He went above and beyond my expectations and definitely one of the best car salesmen I’ve dealt with. It took us a while to decide on which car to buy. When we finally decided on purchasing a used EV, we stopped by Carter Honda and met with salesperson Erica. She was so incredibly helpful, kind, and not at all pushy. She asked us about our driving needs and showed us a couple vehicles a Chevy Spark and a Nissan LEAF. We very quickly decided on the Spark -- we both love the way it drives! We also appreciated the Simple Purchase Program. After we made our decision, the next day we came in and worked with Sabrina on financing and finalizing everything. She was delightful -- a great sense of humour and very professional! I have already recommended Carter Honda to a couple friends who are thinking about getting a used EV.

They helped me purchase my first car! I've been looking for a Honda Accord 2017 for a while now and I haven't been lucky and just never met my expectations. So I reached out to Honda Carter and asked if they could notify me if they receive an Accord that has no previous accidents, low mileage and in automatic transmission. They got back to me later that same day and mentioned an accord literally just got traded in! I checked it out the following day and test drove it. I knew it was the car I wanted, the color silver was my first choice, no accidents and only had 19k mileage in it! I ended up purchasing it and picking it up the following day. They made the whole process smooth, painless and made the buyer feel special. All their staff was very welcoming and helpful until the end. I would definitely recommend them!

Kevin was the person who helped me with the purchase of an Nissan EV 2017 and the main reason we bought a car. My girlfriend and I are very pleased with the trade value of our previous car and the cost of the new one that we purchased at Carter’s. The insurance procedures can be more friendly without having to point at our age when declining additional coverage by the lady who tried to help us the first time.
Bought a new car recently from Carter Honda. I am happy that, Carter Honda was able to get the model I wanted within few days and fixed all additional accessories. I found them very professional, especially Erica was extremely helpful and prompt in answering my questions. I also appreciate her taking the time and showing different tech features, which was very useful.
On the other hand, it was hard to get a time slot from finance, even though I was buying with cash and had very little to do with financing, still I could not get the car on the day I wanted because finance was busy. But other than that, I had a very good experience through out the purchase process.

It was a relatively quick and painless process. Nat was our guy for the road test and Tim was with whom we negotiated the numbers. Nat was very calm, knowledgeable, and overall very pleasant to work with. Tim deals with the negotiating and I appreciate he entertained our offer and returned with a number we were all happy with.
Deducted a star because of the insurance purchasing procedure. It can easily be improved to be more customer friendly.

When there is a complaint, the client is not the person who has rights to be heard and taken into account, but the employed staff' story would be counted and acted on.
The management would prefer to give you lessons and lecture rather than listen to your side of story , or look into his management system to improve.
Basically, customer service is poor and management seems the need to be retrained for basic rules in conflict resolution and customer service.
Not to mention that all the people working on one file are not necessarily available consistently through the convenient days for clients.
Would be good to know that there seems no walk in service available . Hence all goes through a very frustrating sequence of calls so to arrange a meeting.
Agents not aware fully of thr possible services for clients and this can affect clients' time schedule significantly.
I recently purchased a 2014 Honda Accord through Danny Lu at Carter Honda. Danny was very friendly and made the experience very comfortable and easy. When Danny first contacted me by phone, I expressed to him that since his dealership doesn't have the exact car I want in stock, I'd rather go to other dealerships on the weekend and purchase the car from a dealership with the car so I can drive it home immediately. I told Danny that I urgently need a car and wouldn't want to wait. Danny was polite and asked if it was possible for me to share with him why I couldn't wait for the car over the weekend and purchase it from his dealership. He patiently listened to my reasons, and afterwards I told him that I didn't want to bore him with the details about my personal issues and concerns, but to my surprise he told me that what if he would try his best to deliver the car I want within my specified date then my problems would be solved. His persistence and can do attitude (he'll make it happen) convinced me to trust him to purchase the car from him. Ultimately, he kept his promise and delivered the car exactly when I wanted it. Danny is a man of his words, and I really appreciate that considering when I purchase my last vehicle, I was promised that my car would arrive in 10 days and I ended up getting it after two months. I highly recommend you to contact Danny Lu if you are planning to buy a Honda. I have no doubt Danny will provide you with the same exceptional service that I have received from him. Don't hesitate, contact DANNY, he is simply awesome!!!
Great dealership! They respected my budget and requirements, and responded with an aggressive price on an applicable vehicle. No pressure-upselling tactics, or talking you "down" out of what you really want. They were one of the first out of the gate with a negotiated/aggressive price and with 5 dealers on the table I shouldn't have wasted my time with the others! Even better than offering the best price, they welcomed me as a customer, adjusted to my schedule, communicated clearly and appropriately, made good on delivery promises and there was none of the stereotypical 'surprises' regarding added costs, etc. during closing. Great service from our salesman (Tiago) even after I left the lot with the car. It will likely be years before I purchase another car, but Carter Honda will be the first place I stop.
Today started off with me making a trek to buy a motorcycle. I had already made up my mind with what I wanted, but little did I know what I had in store for me. I saw all these beautiful machines lined out front, but the moment I stepped through the doors did I fall in love. There was this beautiful 2013 Honda CBR 500R, sitting there in a mix of other bikes, but it caught my eye. The team there was absolutely wonderful, they guided me with ease, any questions or concerns they were right on it. Such a great group of people and atmosphere, I experienced top of the class customer service, I see why these reviews are so high. Even when I got off my training wheels in the parking lot, Thor came out and gave me support, instant boost of confidence. So pretty much these guys add +7 to confidence boost, if that's not a good enough perk I don't know what you want.
Carter Honda is great from the front desk, technician, to the manager. I just arrived in Vancouver and need a government inspection and a front plate bracket. I bought the car a few years ago, and totally forgot that the car was shipped with a front plate bracket. I therefore ordered one from Carter Honda. The technician found my plate bracket on the top of the spare tire, and got it installed without charging anything. I felt I was so luck to work with Carter Honda. They are honest, generous and warm-hearted.
The dealership is in walk distance to the Granville Island. It's so nice to enjoy the wonderful things on the island while waiting for my car to be treated.
