I waited a few months to post this review, because the deal I got was so good I was concerned it was too good to be true. But I've driven my Ridgeline for 5,000km now and it is flawless. I live in Red Deer and purchased this car during COVID restrictions, so we worked out 95% of the deal over email before I even set foot in the place. They negotiated an EXTREMELY fair deal worth driving eight hours round trip for and went above and beyond facilitating the deal. They even drove the vehicle to a garage of my choice for a pre-purchase inspection. I'm currently working on a vehicle purchase for my wife and have been dealing with some other dealerships around Alberta. Dealing with these other places is just hammering home how great Lloyd Honda was to work with in comparison. Long story short; in my experience Lloyd Honda is a great dealership that's worth driving 8 hours to deal with.

Purchase a motorcycle from them on Monday morning at opening time, which according to their records was Available! Placed deposit on it, build of sale was being made out and then the General Manager claims (?) to have sold it on Saturday. Basically I got screwed over! With sorry even though I had a legal claim to the motorbike. I wouldn't shop here ever again. Notified Honda Canada of the situation also.

I drive honda and regular visitor to this place as they have amazing staff specially in services department. But,last friday I booked a services on evening(it was after hours and they were closed, so I visited the website and booked it from website,I got email confirmation also text message confirmation too,And when I went there on monday morning,They said there is no way they can take me in for that day,As I was not even there in system.When asked I told I booked it online,and they said,they dont booke services online as there is a problem with booking online,So they prefer phone calls.
Understand and such things happened,BUT when felt it so inconvenient and decided to give them a call that if I can talk with some one regarding the issue.I called the receptionist she told me Their GM is approaching towards reception area and he will assist me,But then she told me she missed him and If I give my name and phone number and I will get to hear from someone very shortly.Its one week and I didn't hear anything from them,Then I booked my service somewhere else..so is this place is only offering good services if you buy your car from them but not from somewhere else(even if it is a different honda Dealership).????

I blew the front tire on my motorcycle just a couple km's east of town yesterday. A really nice guy named Kevin stopped who lived in Marshal and he got me a tow truck to bring the bike into the Honda dealership. Mel who runs the Service desk was great at finding me a replacement tire. She had to make a lot of calls but she found one in Edmonton that they could Perolator in that day and Mel would get the guys to put on asap so I could continue on to Manitoba to see my Mom in a Care Home. She has even threatened to send a ride to the hotel I'm at in the morning to bring me and my gear there so I don't need to cab it...wow...thats service!!!
As an aside the tow truck driver told me I was #9 flat that he had to deal with on that section of road in the last week so there is something that is flattening tires between the refinery entrance and the road into Marshal...beware...

Lloydminster Loudmouth

Rave to Lloydminster Honda. I purchased a generator in the fall of 2018. It was a large purchase for a single casual use item. But I have no regrets buying the generator it has came in handy countless times camping and around the apartment. (Yes I have used is while living in a apartment ) well this spring I did a once over on the generator added fresh fuel and it would not start. I dropped it off at Honda and there staff where friendly and quick to help and unload me. With in no time the generator was fixed and ready to pick up. It turns out that I had made a simple mistake with the fuel and that was the issue. They made me feel comfortable with my mistake they did not belittle me for not knowing how quickly fresh fuel spoils now. I have had bad experiences with other dealerships over simple things Lloydminster Honda worked for me definitely recommend them for your generator needs.

I just wanted everyone to know this is one of the best automotive experiences in my life.
I called the Friday before the long weekend to book a service appoint, and the person I spoke with got me in for a same-day-appointment. (WOW)
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by their reception desk who directed me to the service department, who took my keys and then brought me over to the waiting area.
The got me in/out within an hour, and they also gave my car a complimentary inspection which included a road test. I very much appreciate the gesture as they picked up on some maintenance items that need to be addressed to keep the vehicle in good repair and to extend it’s lifespan. I also very much appreciate that the mechanic (Spencer) who worked on the vehicle gave me the keys and chatted with me for a few minutes about some of the maintenance items. I can tell that he is passionate about Honda’s and keeping them in good repair for the drivers/families that own them.
Our Honda Odyssey is our family vehicle that works for all of us including the dog. We take a lot of road trips in to BC and back so it’s very reassuring to have it inspected, and kept in good order. As my father used to say “Preventive automotive medicine is worth a pound of cure”.

Drove from Edmonton to take my driver's test at wilson registry only to find my centre mount break light was burnt out. Examiner said I couldn't take the test as it was illegal to drive with it burnt out. Thank God for BRENT at Honda!! He replaced the bulb with no questions asked and told us to come back after my test to pay for it as we only had 4 mins to get back to the registry to take my test. Thanks Brent for being so awesome and for taking away the stress my mom and I were experiencing.

I've been going to Honda Lloydminster for 7 years.This last trip to Honda Lloydminster will be my LAST.
I brought my 2012 Honda Pilot in for a check engine light and an airbag recall. I had reported to Honda that the previous check engine error codes included "misfires" in cylinder 5. Their technician reported "NO MISFIRES DETECTED" and suggested the piston rings were probably going to need replacing with a quote of $2860.39. When I called the next day to get the actual codes they got from the scan the second, third, fourth and 5th codes were all cylinder misfires (this could be an indication of spark plug failure). There are a couple of other inexpensive diagnostics they could have done before giving me a near $3000 quote that would have answered all their questions. FOR EXAMPLE: pull a spark plug and look for signs the piston rings are warn, or a compression test. Unfortunately for them Im smarter than that and my husband is a mechanic. Turns out my Honda doesn't like aftermarket spark plugs that don't cost $3000.

I had also been out for a test drive that day and I think they gave me a rediculous repair quote in hopes that I would dump my pilot for a new sale.

I would have given ZERO stars but it's not an option.

Terrible experience. Bought a 2012 Suburban off these guys. Was assured it was well taken care of and everything was in mint shape. Got there and the vehicle looked acceptable (the body was in rougher shape than described). As we were looking over the vehicle, we were rushed by our salesperson (Aseem) to just go ahead with it and he kept assuring us that it did not need any work. So assuming that this was a trusted dealer and they would stand behind what they sell we went ahead and bought it. 1 week in and the vehicle was leaking oil all over our driveway. Called the dealer and they said they couldn't do much about it, Then about 2 months later we started getting low oil pressure warning lights. Contacted the dealer again and they said to bring the vehicle to them (over 3 hours away) and they would "Consider" fixing it. A week later the engine blew and needed replacing. After Thousands spent buying the vehicle we had to spend another 5k to get another engine put in after only 3 months of ownership. The engine was poorly maintained and there was lots of sludge buildup. There was lots of oil in the engine, the engine did not sieze, the lifters went out due to poor maintenance and the oil pickup screen not being able.to get any oil to the top of the engine. Would never recommend this dealer to anyone!

They have professional sales consultant who is very knowledgeable about their product but again Honda and Toyota are very expensive because they are Japanese cars. If you want a low budget vehicle you may look elsewhere because this brand always retain its value even with high mileage and they don't come cheap.

100 % satisfied With the purchase of my new car and the dealership business. I have been looking for a Honda Accord with a list of things I want included. I couldn’t find anything in the area I live in, Edmonton. I came across Lloydminster Honda dealership website they had a car i want, it even came with extra Features That was not on my list.
I talked to Ian who was the dealer of my purchase, i put a lot of trust in him for my big purchase online. Knowing that I have not driven or seen this car in person.
