Took my car in for a recall, they claimed they could not do the alignment it needed after fixing recall, which was to be included as part of the recall unless I spent all this $$ on a part it apparently needed. So, I took it to my mechanic and low and behold, there is nothing wrong. Very upsetting that they didn't complete their job properly and I had to pay out of pocket to get the alignment done myself. Hoping to never have to go back there again.

I rolled in to the used car lot to look at a pickup truck. I was greeted by a sales rep who was helpful and actually pointed me in the direction of a truck within my budget. He set the deal up and I made the purchase. When it was time to pick up the truck, it was clean and met my expectations.
Now the reason for the mid-range review:
Communication. The sales rep was a bit of a "close talker" (Seinfeld reference), which is a big no-no these days; he made inferences on what I read and on how "customers have no idea how much work is done to get a vehicle ready".
Would I buy another vehicle from here? Absolutely... but through someone else.
Side note: Service guys are awesome, but management should really be mindful of their surroundings. I (and others waiting in the service area) were able to listen and watch two managers air their disagreements. Not exactly professional.

The original sale of the truck went very smooth. The salesman Joe was very good and accommodating. However I did find that communication was very much lacking after that. I do realize the difficulties your dealership must face with the covid19 restrictions being placed on you but I do think that communication with the salesman could really improve...I was very disappointed with the purchase of my truck in that respect.
I will say that with the difficulties of my purchase (the delivery of wrong truck and having to wait longer than usual) Mike Knapp Ford stepped up and provided adequate compensation...which was appreciated on my end.

They did not try and hide additional costs in the fine print under disguise of options that are already of the vehicle. I purchased a new Edge in December, 2019. It was due for an oil change, but due to the pandemic although the service centre was open, the waiting room was not and the shuttle service was not running. I had no way to just drop off my vehicle and then come back when it was ready. Instead, the service people at Mike Knapp came & picked up my vehicle at my house & then dropped it back when it was finished! There was no additional charge for this service. I sanitized before they picked it up and they sanitized when they brought it back. You couldn't ask for better service than that!

Needed to get a recall service done on my car, they were friendly on the phone and were able to book me in quickly. Offered a shuttle service for me to get to and from work while they worked on my car. Shuttle service was delayed and I had to wait an hour which is why it's a four star review. They apologized for the delay and were otherwise wonderful to deal with.

Horrible. First I made an appointment to bring my work van into Mike Knapp. i called Monday and the earliest they could get me in was Friday. I made the appointment for 8am. I showed up at 7:45 am Friday and waited at the service desk until the advisors had finished their personal conversations Then they told me there was no record of my appointment, but not to worry they would be able to fit me in. At 4 pm i called to find out if my van was done, only to find out it was just brought in the shop and now they would need it for longer and it would be completed Monday. Monday at 4 :45 I picked it up and within 2 kms of the dealership the tire monitor light came on. I called the dealership back the next day and they told me to bring it back at 7:30am the following day, and they would reset the light. Well i went back this morning and on the service door it says 7:30-5 for hours of operation. People were inside just not letting me and other customers in. I guess 7:30 is an estimate of when they open. So I finally get inside and tell the service advisor my winter tires they installed are not right and he proceeds to tell me they are too busy to repair it, and i need to make an appointment again. I told him i called the day before and the lady on the phone told me to come at 7:30 am. He told me they don’t have any technicians starting until 8 am. I looked at my receipt and found they even gave another customers bill from a 2018 ford focus to me. I understand sometimes things go wrong but this is incompetence at the highest level here. I Have always used Brock ford and was very happy with them but they were not able to install my winter tires for 2 weeks. I wished I had waited for them. I will go to Brock Ford to get the tires fixed properly This is my first visit to Mike Knapp and will be my last.

I was expecting a structured questionnaire to guide me in providing feedback. Overall we were pleased with the assistance we received from Joe. From the time we walked in the front door, to receipt of the car was 6 days. We were given an overview of the car. There are a few features we were not sure of so we used the Instruction guide. Both my husband and I thought that the car would be coming with the feature to open the hatchback by kicking your leg. We were told the day we picked it up that that option was only available on the Titan model. We were disappointed to learn this too late. Other than that, we are happy with our purchase and the service we received from Joe.

Initially we were looking at used cars, but the one we were considering was in need of having the brake routers replaced - we were not told this before taking the car out. We returned a few days later to find that the brakes were fixed but the front tires had a loose belt. The sales rep (not Joe) checked the inventory sheet and said that the mechanic had said the front 2 tires needed to be replaced. I found it odd that that this car had even made it onto the lot for people to drive before these issues were fixed. That problem had us reconsider our options and we chose to purchase a new car.

3 days to change an alternator under warranty and tell me that the AC knobs not working isn’t covered. Charged me $120 to look at it before giving me a quote for $1,500 before tax to replace the entire heater core stating that parts had fallen off inside and was impossible to fix.

Took the glovebox off in my driveway after some googling and found the technician who worked on it reinstalled a part upside down. Put the part on the right way and it snapped right in and the knobs work perfectly fine now.

Called the service department with my concerns, was told the message would be passed along. 5 days later and I’ve heard nothing.

Recently purchased a new F150. I had the pleasure of having support from Dave Weibe to secure my purchase. Great sales and financial team. Very warm and courteous. Th e customer is treated with a lot of respect.
The only thing I will say is that the dealership does need a much larger parking area though. Not a lot of room.
Now when it comes to my new truck, I simply love it. I purchased the 10 year, 200,000k extended warranty...just in case. Great peace of mind while owning a very nice truck. It is beautiful and drives really nicely!
Purchased some accessories from the parts department and the same friendly and courteous treatment was given.
Overall great experience and I am completely satisfied.
I would recommend Mike Knapp Ford to anyone thinking of getting into a new vehicle.
Giving 4 stars rather than 5 due to the tiny parking area.

Bought a used car last week. By the time I got home the check engine light was on. Popped the hood, and there was barely any coolant. Didn't call to say anything. Also noticed a nail in the tire a few days later..called to see if I had any type of warranty for the tire..which of course there wasn't...mentioned the coolant and he could care less about the matter. They got there sale. Unfortunately for them I was going in a few days to a week to purchase another car for my wife. Lost a sale there. I will go somewhere else where I heard the service after isn't awful. Thanks guys!

Purchased a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium from Blair recently. I am very pleased with my experience at Mike Knapp Ford. When we went to view the vehicle, Blair was prepared and very polite when we arrived. Once it was decided we were to purchase the vehicle, Blair took care of everything. In just a couple days the escape was good to go! Upon a last minute inspection of the vehicle it was decided that the brake pads needed to be replaced. I didn't even know! but when I came to pickup the truck they were replaced free of charge! And the truck had a full tank of gas! Truly a no pressure and enjoyable experience, I will be referring anyone who is looking for a vehicle to Mike Knapp Ford Sales.
