I love Ford products. This dealership did their very best to have me think otherwise; from uncaring, aggressive sales staff to an unwillingness to honour a warranty. Please, do yourself a favour, and buy your Ford products elsewhere.
Bought a used truck from them. Nothing but small problems. It's like it wasn't even inspected before they gave me the keys. Every time i go in for service, something else breaks within a week. Won't be returning for service.
Generally displeased with the level of service. The service department does work, then doesn't call when it's complete - a basic courtesy. Go to J-Tech instead.
I was well taken care of while I was buying a new vehicle.
The only department I recommend is the Service Department. Good service.

We bought our first new Ford vehicle in November 2019. The sales staff was excellent in helping us find our new Edge. Both the GM and Finance departments went above and beyond to accommodate us in our new ride.
Our first service was in May 2020. The service staff were exemplary. Even though, like most businesses, challenged with providing service during Covid-19, they went above and beyond.
We had asked for the vehicle to be ready by 3pm and it was completed by 1:30.
The GM provided shuttle service when the regular shuttle was out dropping off another customer.
The dealership goes above an beyond.

Sickening people brought Vehicle Back cause of this current event and Bank asked if Ford would buy it back and nope they wouldn't Ford doesn't have a buyback program and all dealership are independently owned so they can't intervene anyways so the owner can conduct business anyway they want. Long story short been having problems with them since the went to ownership to Go Auto from King land and as for King land they treated you like family and didn't ask you all the time where did you buy your vehicle from all the time. If you said not from them you where treated 2nd class. Its a global situation i am not the only one in a pickle and not to return my calls and Emails shows you how they conduct themselves I had to hear from the head office this info in a email. after 30 years in the north Ford in Yellowknife is not in my good books at all.
We specifically wanted to have our steering issue addressed. Was told it was addressed. As soon as we drive off the lot, we had no power steering. Not sure what is happening but a courtesy test drive should have been completed. If it was, I find it hard to believe that from the time it was driven out of the garage, something occurred to the power steering. Now we have to go back to Aurora and have this addressed AGAIN. Again, we are underwhelmed by the service at YK Aurora. Sheryl
The Service department has good customer service. Give you their time to explain the service. Helpful and courteous. They provide information on non-immediate issues with vehicle. Enjoyed my experience.

No idea why anyone would.buy a vehicle here the Yellowknife gouge exists. Like everything else here it costs a fortune. Used vehicles here are about 4-5 k more here than they are in Edmonton. I came here to make money not to spend it. When I moved here I flew to Edmonton to buy my vehicle and they even paid for my flight down. I barely shop local for anything around here including cars. I won't give them a one star for it but you all should consider what your spending
The staff at Aurora Ford have been very friendly and helpful with my vehicle situation. Customer service from the front-line staff, courtesy driver, and especially the team at the Service Department has been exceptional. Chris was very helpful in explaining the vehicle issues and to provide options for the next steps. These several actions (even if they are minor) create a favorable experience.
Chris and his team was accommodating when I had requested if they could drop off my vehicle at my residence. The reason for this request was because I was traveling out of town and the vehicle was in for repairs. Since I was flying back to town late Saturday, that I would have had to wait till Monday for them to open up their shop. This small minor action, adds a lot of value to my experience with Aurora Ford.

When this was Kingland Ford I was always 100% satisfied with my experiences here. However, the last two times I have brought my vehicle in for repairs that were already diagnosed they haven't ordered the parts and just do a second diagnosis instead of repairing the issue.
The first time my frost plug had failed. I tested all components and communicated the results of the test to the service desk and asked them to replace the frost plug. I was booked 4 days away. On the date I brought it in, and when I picked it up they told me, "We confirmed the frost plug isn't working. We can order a new one and have it here in a few days." It was -45 out. I spent the rest of the day locating, purchasing and installing one myself so my wife could use the car on Monday.
The second time, they identified a leaking axle seal during routine maintenance. We called back later to book it in to have the axle seal replaced. Same thing, "We confirmed the axle seal is leaking, we will have to order one in. It will be here in a few days. We will call you back to book you in once it arrives." That was 2 weeks ago, still no call back.

A bit longer to get vehicle back then I expected. Took a long time to upgrade Sync system. Upgraded but now it freezes after coming out of reverse. Service people were very helpful.

Excellent trouble shooting of an issue with my towing harness. Chris and Fred handled my concerns with a great deal of professionalism. They were able to determine that there was indeed something wrong with the wiring and will take care of things.
I appreciate how the staff is friendly and very accommodating. From the receptionist, the shuttle bus driver, the mechanics and the salespersons, everyone is committed to providing the best service they possibly can.

I received incredible service from Aurora Ford on this scheduled maintenance appointment. I always find the service in this Yellowknife dealership very good but it exceeded all expectations on this visit.
The service staff know our vehicle as I am a long time customer. On this visit, they suggested a new approach to resolve a small but intermittent problem which has been difficult to diagnose because it only occurred from time to time. They took initiative and went beyond what could normally be expected on a service appointment.
The service at this dealership is the main reason why I drive a Ford.

It took 3 weeks to get my truck into service department for no heat. Then it took them a couple of hours to fix then had to wait twenty minutes for them to find my keys. The mechanic had them in his pocket. He returned them to me by tossing them onto the counter and saying “Your vechile is started”. No apology but was reminded that the customer service survey is important and that 5 star service rating is important to them.
I was very pleased that there was an openness to meet my needs as the customer. I felt that I was listened to and that there was a genuine effort to meet me where I felt comfortable. Thank you.
All was good, vehicle was ready in no time. Took advantage of the pick up service. I was picked up in a timely manner. Folks were friendly, I would consider my experience excellent.
Staff were great, work was done on vehicle and completed the next day, and they noticed my oil light on so they called me to get that added to the work. I was also given a loaner while waiting for truck to be done, and it was since the weather outside was 40 below. Thx

Even when they did not find any issue I felt that they adequately assessed my concern and encouraged me to continue to monitor. Was able to call and make an appt within 2 days. I have been a customer at Aurora/Kingland Ford for over 6 years. The service department is top notch. Fast, friendly and honest. There have been plenty of times when they could have done work then informed me that it wasn't necessary. I feel like these guys want to keep their customers for the long haul. They even detailed my truck a couple of times for free because they had some spare time in the shop that week. I can be a tough customer, and these guys have Earned all 5 stars through my interactions with them on regular maintenance visits and warranty work year after year. Doesn't mean that wont change in the future but my experience with Ford in Yellowknife, to date, has been great.
I've been dealing with you guys for a long time and it was the first time I asked to have my truck for a "quick" wash but pretty much got shutdown right away with "our wash bay have been busy lately", without writing my request in the paperwork.
I appreciate that you finished my oil change early but seeing that my truck wasn't washed and there's a vehicle in the wash bay made me feel less of a customer. Why is that vehicle more important than mine?
Trans went in my truck. Dropped it off here. 10 days later truck back with a new trans. While they had my vehicle they provided me with a service loaner and called with updates in regards to the repairs. No problems since repairs have been completed. I would highly recommend them. Who better to work on your Ford then the highly trained and qualified staff here.
