Went there for a recall and an oil change. They couldn't do the recall for the rear driveshaft, because they didn't have the tool for it. Instead of apologizing for wasting 2 hours of my life, they tried to make excuses that they weren't familiar with that "recent" recall, despite being issued on 2021-05-24. In the end, it took them 2 hours to do an oil change.

I had a great experience with this dealership. They were accommodating, knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. The knowledge of their staff helped save me $150.00 by showing me that my specific car model didn’t need the keys to be coded. They even told me about mechanics near my house that can help me with things that don’t require a delearship.They were all working twice as hard to make up for a lack of staff so if you are looking for a job this would be a great environment to work in.

We broke down in Squamish and had our vehicle towed to the Coastal Squamish Ford. We were traveling in our Ford transit RV. The service department manager assisted us with parts we needed to try to fix the vehicle ourselves when that didn't work Greg and Zack took time out of their busy day to assess the problem and get the parts within a matter of days, in addition Rick was very helpful and friendly while we were waiting.

They don’t stand behind there work. They obviously either mis diagnosed or broke my truck while dealing with the issue. I’m outta warranty and was told “sorry but you’re bumper to bumper has expired so we can’t fix it under warranty anymore, so you’re gonna have to pay to fix it”. Even though I had it in there twice with a few complaints before it expired, and it never got fixed. Mainly because they service writer never relayed the problem to the tech properly. And also because I had left it there all day and they never had time to get to it. Even though it was booked in for that repair and an oil change. All they got to was the oil change. It’s still not put together properly and doesn’t operate as intended since they touched it. I was within 1000km of warranty. And if you know them it takes 3 weeks to get in. I was told if I had been a paying customer they would have fixed it with no charge to me. but since it was under warranty, once manufacturers warranty is over that’s it. If I had known I would have parked it till they fixed it. What’s the difference who pays? Me or Ford Canada! Either way they should stand behind their work. It seems as though it’s all about profit not the client. Its not the first thing they broke on my truck. But it’s definitely the last. Go somewhere else. I hear horror stories every time I hear there name Coastal Ford Squamish come up.

Took my Ford Transit connect to get brakes repaired. Told me $1800 so I walk out and got it done at a private garage for $850. Parts they told me I needed I didn’t. They are super shady so be vey careful bring your vehicle here…. I would never go back there as they are all about ripping you off! Tried to speak with a manger after and no one called me back.. horrible service. I would recommend another dealership not coastal Ford!!! BEWARE!!

Front seat electronics stopped working and these guys wouldn’t even diagnose the issue. Told me to “get it properly” diagnosed but considering I drive a Ford Edge, I thought the Ford dealer would likely be the best spot. I’m at a loss as to how useless these people are.

Took it to an independent garage (Hunter’s) and they had the whole thing fixed in 10 minutes.

Extremely disappointed with Ford Squamish Sales Department!

Please notice that this review is related to the Sales Department at Ford Squamish. We bought a brand new 2020 Ford Explorer. Our car has been in and out if the shop since November 2020 and issues have not been fixed. Issues such as climate errors, engine won't start, charging ports dysfunction. All things that should not be showing in a brand new car. We are extremely frustrated with this process. Ford uses our car as a test vehicle to try and error and can't accept that the vehicle has a major defect. The lack of communication and the lack of treating us as customers with respect is to say the mildest unacceptable. It is impossible to raise a claim with Ford Canada. Thumbs up and hands down for the service department team at Ford Squamish. They have tried to help us and been offering a great service.

I was really impressed with the care the guys at Coastal Ford put into the work on my truck’s suspension. The mechanic talked to me for a while about what they did and how they could adjust the steering feel for me if I wasn’t totally happy with how it drove. The truck drives perfectly now. Booked an appointment to get a key cut for 10am. It's a $45key and about $100 for the hour shop time (plus $15 shop charge not mentioned in quote). It's now 10min till noon and my car is in the shop, it will take aprox 30min.. it's not an appointment, they said they're like the doctor's office! It's first come first served, more like a dairy queen. If he had only said so i wouldn't have planned my day around my booking. I'm very disappointed. They heard my dissatisfaction and gave me a $40 discount on my bill. They have since called me to offer a free service on our car for the two hour delay.

I showed up on a Saturday with my wiper motor in my hand trying to book an appointment for next week. Instead, I was asked to drive the van in and the mechanic hooked it up then and there. He didn’t push us to upgrade to options that we didn’t need and wasn’t pushy to make a sale. Morgan kept us posted on used options when we thought that was a better fit, and ultimately helped source the perfect truck in the perfect colour that we were both very happy. Very nice service department. I had my car serviced by the Issaquah Ford dealership and they forgot to put of some bolts in the splash pan under the car. It fell off going into a gas station in Squamish which would have ruined my ski trip to Wistler. Coastal Ford was able to get it on a lift and replaced the bolts in only 15 minutes and was on my way.
