I have dealt with Westlock Ford or previously Dawson Ford for over 30 years and have found all staff now and former staff to be very friendly and service oriented. we have just (Oct 2020) purchased a new SUV and are very happy with the vehicle and the service they have provided to us. Overall a very good dealer to deal with. Highly recommend them as company to deal with.
We have been servicing our 2014 Ford Edge and 2012 Nissan Pathfinder at Westlock Ford for the past three years and have been very happy with the service provided. Their rates are fair and if there is any additional work required they always phone to confirm before the work is completed so there are no surprises.

If you as a buyer are looking for a dealership that is willing to work with you, so your not driving of the lot feeling like you got ripped off I would not recommend to going to this place. While we felt that we where in a pending sale, they spent the night to find someone to buy the vechicle at the listed price and sold it under our feet.
My experience with westlock ford has been great, I had Kayla to help me with any questions or concerns I had while picking out my truck, and was able to answer questions I had after I left the lot, I will definitely go back there in the future.
We went to Westlock Ford after speaking with Braden on the phone about a 2020 Ford Ranger they had on their lot. He was very knowledgeable about the truck and had it all ready for us to take a test drive. After a short, pleasant, informative and above all not at all pushy conversation with him we decided that this would be a good purchase for us. What I like at Westlock Ford is the sale personal don't pressure you they want to sale the vehicle that you want at the best deal possible and they do follow-up when you bring your vehicle for service. The service at Westlock is excellent witch is the reason I bought my F-150 there.

I brought my car here to get repaired after being in an accident. It took over a month to get my car back after being told it would only take a few weeks. I finally got my car back and after 5100 dollars of repairs i started experiencing other problems i had to take my car to another mechanic to find out they over looked an additional 7700 dollars in damage and now once again i have no vehicle.
Been to a few Ford dealerships on my recent buy to guage which dealership team had my best interests at heart. Started with Westlock Ford and went to other dealerships to compare. Came back to westlock Ford. There is something to he said about having solid people on your payroll. Westlock was what I liked.

I stopped in to test drive a new f150 and they offered me a coffee and we hit the road. The truck was amazing. Last thing I remember was feeling a little dizzy and drowsy (possibly from the coffee?), when I came to I was in a ditch behind Ed's auto with a hickey and my gonch on backwards. Best customer service ever! Been going back a couple of times a week. Practically driven every car on the lot.

the service here was solid but not as solid as the 2019 Dodge Ram, Moto trend truck of the year. it has an IIHS 5 star safety rating. can haul 12000 lbs of steel beams and has won four JD power and associates awards

Service was very good only some of check off list was sloppy. (ie) serpentine belt was checked as good , when in actuality it is cracked (checked) in numerous places. Maybe was overlooked.
The service department went above and beyond to help me. Needed a new bumper and they painted it and installed it flawlessly and came in at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend these guys for any service you need (or parts and sales) Great guys and gals 👍🏼
I have recently had a bad experience with Westlock Ford.
The rear differential went on my truck November 30 2018. We had the truck towed to Westlock Ford.
Since November 30, 2018 we've had minimal contact from ford regarding the status of our truck. We had called and left messages with no call back in return. There has been no explanation as to why this happened, and as of March 2019 ford is still awaiting for parts to fix the truck.
There was no courtesy vehicle offered to us, and when asked about a courtesy vehicle was told, ford does not offer courtesy vehicles however they have two which are broke down.
My wife has lost her job due to no vehicle and no courtesy vehicle offered.
When asking for a discount for the maintenance I was bluntly told, " that's not going to happen".
We have not had a good experience whatsoever and found the service department employees to be very rude and arrogant.
It's very sad as we bought our truck brand new from Ford in 2015 and have never had an issue until now.
We feel disregarded by Ford and was not even offered to sit down and talk about the situation.
Sadly, we will never deal with Westlock Ford in the future.
