Josh and Cory were absolutely amazing and helpful. They did everything to the very top of their ability to get us back on the road safely as we ended up with an unexpected emergency on a road trip. Everyone at the dealership were very welcoming as we were there all day. They were very accommodating as I had brought my kitten along and a guy in sales offered to watch him while we went to grab some food. Josh and Cory pulled many strings to get us on our way ASAP. We ended up having to stay overnight and gave us a loaner for the night. I honestly couldn’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us. Absolutely amazing experience was had at Lakewood Chevrolet.

Coming to Lakewood Chev doesn't feel like a chore, it's always a good experience coming here. Especially for parts, the service that Emma provides is top notch! I always feel like I'm genuinely cared about when she helps me out. Bought my winter tires here and she helped me choose the best ones for my car and budget and gave me unbiased, objective advice about what to choose, which I really appreciated.

Got a small issue fixed by the service department on a car I haven’t had for the better part of a year. No issue with the service department whatsoever.
However, after getting my information, The sales team has proceeded to cold call me on a weekly basis trying to sell me a vehicle for the past year. I have told 3 different sales people to remove me from the call list due to the fact that I purchased a brand new vehicle shortly after the fix.

Went shopping with my 82 year old father for a new vehicle and had a great experience with Lakewood. We had two salespeople (Todd and Josh) helping him and they looked after everything for him, including getting his cheque certified so he did not have to. They were very patient and went above and beyond to make sure he was looked after. Great team to work with!

We blew a tire, beyond repair, and had to tow our new car over to Lakewood. Morris got it assessed, found us a new tire (low profile, unusual size) locally, got it shipped over and got it replaced for us same day.
Based on the times he texted me that it was done and emailed me photos of the damage, he must have stayed a few minutes after closing to get it done, since the tire arrived maybe an hour before service closed, and we really needed the car same day.

I came in looking at a used vehicle and the staff was very warm and welcoming from the start. I dealt specifically with Muna and she did a great job as a new salesperson of showing me the car I was interested in and finding the answers to my questions. Overall this dealership offered great pricing and the whole team provided outstanding customer service.

The guys at service at Lakewood went the extra mile to get My Chevy Volt repaired within a week ( took 4 out of 5 days of that week to get the parts in ) and get me back on the road for my vacation.
I really appreciated the extra effort, and i really appreciated them topping up all 3 coolant reservoir so they were not at the min level anymore which wasn't ever done at any other dealership in the past.
It shows a certain attention to detail that doesn't seem typical so thank you again.

Service department does not help you if there is a possible issue.
Had two side windows break over the course of one year. The first window was replaced after having to talk with the service manager (I was under 5000km). Second window broke and after a week's worth of song and dance I was told they wouldn't cover any of it. Window broke while parked and was not a robbery in both cases. Glass was in a full sheet when I got to the car.
Took complaint to GM Canada and they did not resolve either. They took a full three weeks to tell me the same thing. Had to phone repeatedly for updates. Messages were not passed on to claims associate.
DO NOT BUY A GM. They are not willing to help the little guy and only have the baseline in mind. Staff at both the dealership and with GM Canada do not care about keeping their customers.

I went into Lakewood with a problem on my financing with another dealership and they were able to help me fix it. Rhonda in sales and Krista in financing were amazing and super accommodating. Rhonda was super funny and was able to take my mind off of everything that was going on. Krista let me vent about everything as well, and was very clear explaining everything that was outlined on my new financing contract. Forever thankful for what they were able to do for me!

After going there in person, they all welcomed me and jumped to help me get into a brand new traverse, I will definitely tell others my experience and tell them to go there :)

I had the most amazing experience at lakewood Chevrolet this past week. I drove up in my 7 year old beater of a van. Which honestly was comical. I was super nervous as it was my first time purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. Alisha, Paul and Erin were all so very nice and helped put my mind at ease. I never once felt pressured to buy anything. They truly just wanted to help me. There customer service was amazing and I was able to drive away with a new vehicle be enough to fit my whole family!! Very good dealership to deal with from the initial meeting all the way to financing. All the staff are very friendly and are interested in making a new car purchase a very pleasant experience. They took care of changing our insurance from the old car to the new purchase. The best thing is that they went and changed our registration from old car to new car we did not have to stand in line, we completed paper work while our salesman took care of the registration. When we were done paperwork we took the keys and went home. Best car purchase EVER! A big thank you to our salesman Josh and another big thank you to Manita she was awesome! I knew it was an Equinox I wanted but I could not decide on the colour and changed my mind many times! Joshua Parra was always patient and answered all my questions on accessories and price. He and his manager Danny Bass approached my dithering about on the colour with good humour and I never felt rushed into a decision. I would like to especially thank those two and Manita in finance for helping me in this process.

This being my first time ever shopping for a car I wanted to make sure I picked the one that felt right for me. And after visiting 10 different dealerships in the area (34th St.) and test driving a car at each one it was the Cruze. But what sold me was the staff. The dealership was by far the nicest one we had been to and the staff were so warm and genuine I didn't feel like I was at a car dealership. From the managers we dealt with to the salesmen, everyone was so personable I actually enjoyed being there and giving them my business. We spent the whole second day we were there humming and hawing over what we actually wanted the car to have but we never once felt pressured or rushed to make a desicion. Joshua Parra was attentive and patient as he spent the whole time doting on me and helping me get exactly what I wanted from my car buying experience. And Manager Dan Bass was incredibly friendly stopping to chat with us about Jasper (where I'm currently living) and football (which my fiance used to play and loves) when he could. I have a 2010 silverado LT
I dealt with the service department here and was pleasantly surprised at the speed and effort to resolve my issue, i had been getting the run around by Edmonton motors for an issue that they wouldn't fix or acknowledge, after me paying for them to do supposed warranty and returning several times, i gave up, but a friend convinced me to take it to lakewood chev to look at it.
Wow i wish now i had bought the truck from them, they went for the first test ride and understood there was an issue right away, they proceeded to work on it right away and resolve it to my satisfaction. If you go anywhere else I'm sorry to say you will meet with THOSE kind of dealerships, these guys are great.
