I came in for an unplanned oil change one morning and I mentioned there was a problem with the block heater. I was advised that they were booked up and could not make any promises for the block heater repair, agreed to leave the truck for the day. Came back at noon and spied the truck on the lift where I could see the technicians working on it over their lunch hour. A short time later received a phone call that all work was completed. Just like to express my gratitude for going above and beyond, so very much appreciated.
Sales was alright, don't let them wash your vehicle, it looks like it's done with sandpaper, then they pull the ol' it wasnt us... parts dept is severely inept , front seat heater mods for the '22 retrofit ordered in rear seat modules , broken tonneau cover from day 1 , had to deal with manufacturer to get repaired as the parts dept is useless , if you get a good deal take it and run... but I wouldn't deal with service or parts ...
Best dealership in Alberta. I would recommend that you buy a vehicle here.

91 year old Inlaws meant trip to cold lake for Christmas. Got silverado serviced in Calgary before leaving. Puddle of oil under truck on lakeshore prompted trip to dealer. Express oil guys confirmed loose oil filter and tightened for me. When I asked what I owed they said merry christmas. Excellent customer

Brought truck in with only 30,000 km on it with a bald rear tire they blamed it on having 12 psi more in the tire and they serviced truck last now they won’t take responsibility for the issue and have to pay for two new tires. Manger tried to make me feel like it was my fault kept blaming it on me worst dealership I have ever dealt with Terrible customer service and I’ll never come back again .
I take my truck there every time i need it serviced...they get the work done properly i totally agree with the service

We get 2 of our vehicles serviced here and always have friendly service! I never feel pressured into getting extra work done on my vehicles and appreciate being given a full rundown and quote so I can make the decisions as needed. I love the text reminders and shuttle service so I can still get chores or errands done while my car gets fixed.
This dealership will always have my family business! Customer service and service has always been the best. The staff definitely always goes above and beyond. Anyone can sell you a vehicle. Bought our new 2019 Traverse here last year and had a squeaky bushing that they replaced with no issue and without hesitation gave us a loaner unit for the day so there was no messing around with getting rides etc. Just today I took it in for my free oil change and the express lube tech was very polite and professional, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and did a full and proper vehicle inspection, including a battery test, tire pressure top up, washer fluids, air filter, everything. Great service department crew there that treat you like a friend and they are very helpful. The techs in the shop are also very efficient and very well trained with the new technology these vehicles are loaded with. Thanks Lakecity!

Sales department management was repulsive. Sales guy played the game as expected, going back and forth with his manager, trying to get me as a buyer to fall for the old "we're only going to make $400 on this sale" routine. It's fine, I get that, he's limited in his role and what he can do based on his manager's policies.
What I won't stand for is a belligerent manager first ignoring me, then coming at me hard and raising her voice so she can overtalk me with increasing volume, constantly cutting me off mid-sentence.
Having a bad day? Feel stressed out? OK, but don't make it into my problem. I'm just trying to buy a car here.
I ask you: is this reasonable behaviour towards a customer who's obviously ready to pay thousands of dollars for your product?
What a shopping experience, let me tell you. In short, I was more than happy to go elsewhere with my business. And by elsewhere I mean anywhere but Lake City GM in Cold Lake, AB.
I'd rather drive to Lloydminster or Edmonton to buy my Chevy product than face a shopping environment like that again.
I hear from friends and colleagues that the service dept is top shelf, but the sales management element is, in a word, nasty. They also price their products thousands of dollars higher than any other reasonable car dealer I've dealt with.
I do not recommend buying a car from this dealer, and my experience was so negative that I, as a lifelong fan and proponent of Chev/GM products, will never go back to this lot in particular.

Completely disorganzied buisness...Changed my quote 3 times(Quotes are legally binding you cant change them,estimates are different...)They had it for 2 weeks before they even ordered the part that my car required ...When they finally ordered the part they tried to get me to buy a new battery from them (When I just bought the new one from them a month earlier)
Didn't fix all the issues that I left on the list for them,picked up my car after it being there for a month only to have it completly shut down on the highway.Only for them to say "They couldn't replicate the issue" and that "I was missing fuses" (Find it kind of odd how they didnt do a load test/check fuses very first during the diagnostics" And they broke my passenger seat...Will not ever give them any buisness nor ever recommended them.The only good thing was they paid for the tow back to the shop and fixed the problem "they couldn't replicate"
I highly reccomend Syntech in Ardmore as they know their sh!t and do your repairs in a timely fashion.
Spoke with Darren from the Service Department. Met with a smile and firm handshake 🤝. Had the information I was looking for and helped book an appointment to have my vehicle brought in for the repairs it needs. Highly recommend.

Great service, same price as anywhere else as long as you know how to negotiate. If you have any problems the sales department will make sure everything runs smoothly with service department.
We have been dealing with Lake City for 20 years and have always been impressed with the vehicles they have sold us and their excellent customer service.
This location is new and well equipped. They have a nice little area for customers to lounge while waiting and grab a coffee or let the little ones play in the toy area. They customer service is great.

I was driving the company truck which started having issues with the on-board computer turning off the traction control. Since I needed to take the long trek back to Edmonton that evening, it was a little worrisome.
This was all happening in late afternoon. There were no technicians available by the time I pulled up just before 5pm. The staff was wonderful and found someone to hook up the scanner to see what was going on. They ran the diagnostics twice to be sure and cleared an error from the first scan. Thankfully no real problem to fix!
I appreciate the person that stayed late to make sure everything was A-okay!
