This is my experience dealing with Jenner. I was told my truck was done and ready to be picked up so I proceded to take time off work and organize a ride to the dealership. After paying my bill I was pleased with the service, however....when I go to leave my truck will NOT go into gear, it has a check engine light, and I'm stranded whith no way of getting home. I'm frustrated but obviously there's nothing I can do so I ask them to put it back in the shop and let me know what they find. After a week of no contact from them I had to call and investigate. Turns out my vehicle (which I heavily rely on) could have been fixed days ago! except that they mixed up my information with another customers. Ok fair enough mistakes happen, not the end of the world. This is where they REALLY tried to SCREW me. When I picked up my truck the 2nd time I was informed that there was a check engine light on due to my egr delete kit (which has never had any sort of problem before taking it to Jenner) and that they're GM certified technician's and 1000$$$ diagnosistic equipment could not fix the problem and I would need to replace my whole egr kit. Well either they're liers, scammers, or bad technician (which I don't think) because I was able to do everything they couldn't, using a cheap scanner in under 30 seconds at home. So if your looking for unnecessary trips to the dealership, hidden problems (that were never a problem before) and being lied to I highly recommend them for that!

Poor service. Three times I had scheduled appointment times of 10:00 am but was told at drop off they wouldn’t be looking at my truck until sometime in afternoon. I was stuck waiting as there is no shuttle or courtesy vehicle. Second, my truck’s problem of vibration during driving was diagnosed as unbalanced wheel even after two separate wheel balancing plus new tires. Third, service manager said they would use special equipment to test drivetrain but Jenner didn’t, they only took truck for road test. The problem still exists and they have no idea or desire to do anything about it before the extended warranty expires.
Only the second time I had to take my well-running car into the dealer but, like last time, it was a pleasant experience. Elizabeth, who took my car in and settled my bill, was a joy to interact with and seemed to enjoy her job.
My only quibble with the visit was there was no one cleaning cars nor was a coupon for a car wash offered, like my last visit. Also, my service coupon did not appear on the bill though I was assured the discount was applied.
Still, an enjoyable place to pass an hour while waiting for service. An airy showroom allows for social distancing without a problem. You could also walk the yard and check out the stock on hand.
I look forward to returning should I require dealer service again.
Love my new EV. The deal was decent. Never bought a new car before and have had to learn on the go here with the fob, onstar, chevrolet app, accessories. Chevrolet could really help out by partnering with local company's on home chargers etc... It's new technology and i think customers need a bit more support than for traditional cars. .
Took my car in to get an oil change and new battery. Service was excellent as always.. been taking my car here for all servicing since I bought it in 2009. Kudos to Chris for making this a pleasant experience during these crazy times. Also a big shout out to Sheila for always getting me there and back! Thanks guys. Pat Z.

Awful customer service in the service department, Steve the guy who was helping me didn't tell me anything that was wrong with my truck (as the check engine light was on), they over estimated me with a bunch of stuff that is perfectly fine (as always) and when I came back to pay for the diagnostic they didn't even have any of the service done to my truck on paper, just told me they couldn't print it out for me and gave me back my keys. I was charged $200 for absolutly nothing. That will be the last time I take my truck there
Jenner is a very friendly and knowledgeable dealership but their finance department is lacking people skills. My partner and I walked away feeling horrible after the way Tony spoke to us. We honestly do not believe much work went into securing the deal on finances end. We were turned down for a used Jeep there but were able to get a brand new 2021 Jeep with good financing at a Dodge dealership.
They will spam you with emails and everytime you visit you have to unsubscribe...again. If I wanted Spam I'd go to the grocery store and buy a can of mystery meat. It would probably leave a better taste in my mouth than Chevrolet's endless emails they you can't truly opt out of. Shame.
I recently brought my car in to Jenner to have some work done on it. I bought my car at Jenner in 2016, and have loved it. I had an appointment later in the week to have my car fixed at Jenner, but by Wednesday, I was worried it wouldn’t make it until my appointment on the Friday. I phoned Chris at repairs and he told me to bring it in as soon as I could, and he would see if he could squeeze me in sooner. Hours later, Chris phoned me and let me know he had all the parts needed to do the repair and asked if I wanted to go ahead with it. He also phoned various warranty services on my behalf to get me the best deal possible. Not only was my vehicle ready the same day, the repair was 500 dollars less than I had originally thought. I really felt like the team worked hard to help me with my personal circumstances (I work multiple shifts/jobs in town and live in Langford, so bussing really isn’t an option for me. I would absolutely recommend this repair outlet and thank Chris for all his hard work!

I bought a 2019 Chevrolet Spark from Jenner mid August. I love my car. One of Jenner's sales staff, Adam, helped me from start to finish and was a pleasure to work with. (He is very patient as well) Everyone at Jenner from the reception staff, the financial staff fellow and the insurance person who helped me after the sale were wonderful. Did I mention that I LOVE my little car? I would not hesitate to send my family and friends to this dealership. Treated very poorly and indifferently by both sales(Connie) and sales management. Were unwilling to break down a biweekly payment for me based on our agreed number after days of communication unless I submitted a credit app. Hard ball tactics. So no information to consider. Having been in the industry for almost 20 years and having purchased many vehicles in my years I have never been treated with such indifference. They simply didnt care to put any effort into actually trying to EARN my business. Would not recommend them. Very disappointing experience.

After having our regular check-up Kyle B. from Service let us know we will need some tires soon. He offered some options and after researching we felt his offers were comparable and purchased 4 new tires with Jenner. A horrible place for service. Booked our car in for service with ample warning. They knew my wife and new baby needed a ride. As much as i understand things happen and we all get behind sometimes communication is needed. An alternative couldve been suggested. Instead 50 mins later she is still left standing there with zero communication. When asked about an alternative or what is happening they simply say we are busy. This is no way to earn someones business. We will happily never return! I would recommend searching for a different option when servicing your vehicle. They clearly could care less about their guests.
Bought a truck here and was pleased with the whole experience. Have been in twice for complimentary oil changes. Service staff were really friendly and professional. Not the comfiest place to wait for your vehicle to be serviced, but it's free, so I shan't deduct any stars.

Brought my 2008 corvette in for a service. Had good experience dealing with Steve and Willi in service department. Both really nice guys who explain whats happening with your car and different options to deal with the issue. I had a question they couldn't answer so we talked to Matt, the tech who worked on my car, and he knew exactly what I was referring to. I was impressed with his answer and knew the work was done right.
Superb treatment from Willi Brech today when I brought my car in for servicing. He's knowledgeable and personable, and made constructive suggestions on what to include ("have you considered...?") and not include ("this is on the list but given your situation you probably don't need it") in the servicing. I recieved impeccable service from Connie when purchasing my 2018 GMC Terrain 3 months ago. She was very informative and was not pushy in purchasing the vehicle at all. I have met many sales personnel and the majority push what they can on you. So this was a nice change. She was very patient with us in making sure he had what we needed, especially when wanting to trade in our older SUV as well. Being upfront is a good quality, and that is what she had.
Another great person I dealt with was Kyle from the service department. Some vehicles have some kind of weird adjustments that need doing when they are brand new and he took care of those very quickly. He was also informative and honest with me on what needed to be done on the vehicle and didn't waste any of my time. His customer service was also amazing! Thanks Kyle!

I just bought a used and new to me 2015 used Honda Fit from Jenner and was impressed with the good service throughout the process, from Chris, the manager, who responded to my emails over a long weekend when they were closed, to Phil Hines, the sales rep who helped throughout the process, and the financial managers who completed the sales documents. I have an aversion to dealing with dealers for used cars, but was completely satisfied with my experience. Rather than haggle over price, they asked me what I wanted to pay and told me whether they could meet the price or not. Surprisingly, they said yes, and I got a good price on a great car.

Willi was very patient explaining the services required for my vehicle and the cost quoted was accurate. Our vehicle was ready earlier than promised and the experience was excellent.
Mechanics are great at Jenner, but this place as well a Wheaton have customer satisfaction issues. Don't buy extended warranty either. It's not the dealership that covers it. It's a completely different company in the states. If you don't feel like you're being treated fairly your trapped as warranty is non refundable. When you have a valid complaint you'll get the canned " sorry your mad that we screwed up" phone call and it's over with in there heads. Do your self a favor and run, don't look back, just run. Once they have your money it's bend over and cough time. Deep breath now this is going to hurt a little. Do yourself a favor and just DON'T. Mark my words you WILL regret it.
I just recently visited Jenner Chevrolet for my vehicles semi-annual service. I normally go in on a Saturday and Willie is the first person i see. Willie always greats me with a smile and is a pleasure is to deal with. I especially appreciate how Willie takes a personal interest in my vehicle. Willi in sales was very helpful. I was having difficulty finding a shop to time my 6.5 diesel. Tech Mike S. was able to in a few hours and at reasonable cost for an older vehicle.
So far my experience at Jenner has been excellent. My first experience with Justin was informative, and at no point did I feel pressured to buy at that time, which was great, I wasn't ready to yet. I came back today to find out how long I would have before the Scrap-It vouchers ran out, and weather or not I'd be able to make a purchase before then. Thankfully things so far have worked out, and it looks like my first Brand New Car will come from Jenner!
Brad was also super helpful and efficient when checking for approval for financing, and made the process simple.
For anyone looking for a more relaxed and friendly sales atmosphere, and great customer service from a Dealership that puts its customers first, I definitely recommend Jenner. If you're in need of service for your vehicle, or have a question, their staff are more than happy to assist you. When my parents came to town to visit, they were having trouble with the key fob for their Sonic. Their first stop was Wheaten Chevrolet, who told them they would need to book an appointment to sort the issue out. When they went to Jenner, the first person they spoke to took the fob and used their diagnostic tool, and fixed the problem (The battery was in backwards) without any hassle.
Overall this is the best experience you can get when going to a dealership!
My Volt was not recognizing the key fob, The day of app, Willi took the tech off a big job and got on my job. I was in and back out in 45 min, rather than waiting all day. VERY IMPRESSED!
I remember not so long ago waiting 6 hrs at the Ford dealer for a oil change, and I was there waiting, and I must say not happy.
I took my car to GM Jenner in Colwood after experiencing some rear end wobbling. The foreman mechanic came out with me to test drive the car and later put my car up on the hoist and checked it out. They quoted me $3400 dollars total (parts and labour) to have both rear control arms replaced. I brought my car to a different shop in town, they checked it out and discovered two loose bolts on my rear control arms. No issues at all with the actual control arms. He tightened them, and charged me 90 bucks for labour. Car is driving like new. Do not go to GM Jenner - this place is a scam.
The best vehicle purchase experience I've ever had, and I've seen just about everything! I will admit, I'm definitly not a easy client to please. Unfortunately, I generally find purchasing vehicles anything but pleasant. Our company currently owns over 20 vehicles on the road, and I've personally bought over 50 throughout my life and career. The big difference here-Chris Carr the Sales Manager. He actually listened and gave me exactly what I asked for. I told him what I was looking for, I'm busy so I don't have much free time, and definitely none to waste. I also asked for different options for my specific requirements. He provided numerous options, great pricing to start, not the back and forth over and over, no pressure, no games-just straight professionalism, great service and terrific value. There was a issue with the truck a few days after purchase, something difficult to diagnose-a phantom raddle-which would drive me crazy not being resolved, and could of easily been dismissed by Jenner. I sent Chris a email-right away he replied back to me, lined everything up, service took care of it, even washed the truck and now it's perfect. Sure was nice even after the purchase, the sales rep being so attentive. This is my first dealings with Jenner, but won't be my last! My wife and I dropped off my 2010 Terrian yesterday for a oil change and a recall ( January 16 2016) we sat in the showroom for over 5 hours the one thing that bothered us was that not one salesperson took the time to say hello or even a smile I understand that some of the salespersons were with customers selling vehicles but the others could of acknowledged us. We have bought 2 brand new vehicles there since 2009 that's alot of money we spent at your company not to mention oil changes and sevice done to the vehicles. Just thought we'd let you know about this unpleasant experience we had yesterday I mean sitting in the showroom for over 5 hours and not even a greeting of some sort come on.

This was my first new car, although I have bought plenty of used ones at dealerships. My wife and I bought a new Saturn just before they were discontinued. We have dealt with Baljet and Wheaton, and where somewhat less than impressed with either. Jenner has excellent sales and finance people. They made us right at home. I have been getting parts from Bill and Peter in Parts for years. They know their products front and back, new and old, very, very well. The service people often can get me in on a drop in basis, which is helpful. We never had a warranty claim problem with our Saturn with Jenner, and so far, no troubles with the new Cruze. If you are thinking of buying a GM on the island, I would recommend that you start at Jenner.
We have bought 2 vehicles from Jenner and have loved not only the vehicles but the experience around the purchase. We take both vehicles to Jenner for regular service and find their staff to be knowledgable and helpful. I love knowing that if I have any concerns or questions that all I need to do is pick up the phone and it will be dealt with. I love my truck and I am looking forward to upgrading my car to another GM product. The reno has just taken this dealership to the next level and I would recommend the staff and car selection to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle
