Finance managers, specifically Billy Tran will go to great lengths at this location with no regard and at the cost of your credit score to get a deal done or not in this case. After being approved and signing a lease with them for a new vehicle for myself (1 authorized credit check) All that was accomplished were several (5) unauthorized hard inquiries for my credit report over the course of two weeks as a co signer on a proposed ever changing deal with no communication with me that that was what they were doing in the background.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT buy a vehicle from here. I have nothing good to say about everyone from sales to financing to mechanical work. They rip you off, have tons of hidden fees, charge you for things you did not agree (or sign) to pay, and use unethical sales tactics. If you say you need to think on a purchase before making a decision, they'll go grab someone higher up to try and bribe you into a vehicle. You have to say "no" MANY times before you can even leave.
I got laid off due to covid and the one salesman was still very pushy and persistent that I buy a brand new $30k vehicle because there were "incentives" right now, even when I tried to explain to him I have no interest in taking on a huge debt without income; he didn't have any respect for my current situation and still tried to convince me to buy. I found that to be very unprofessional, which most of my experiences were.
Come time to end my lease and finance my car and I could never get an accurate answer on what my biweekly payments would be; I received multiple different numbers between the salesman and the finance person, none of which matched up to what my signed contract said my buyout was. The salesman stated "I see a much higher buyout amount on my end." even though I had my signed agreement in hand (and I have now gone through another dealership and their information matched mine).
The list goes on...but bottom line, they will do anything to make a buck.

Decent selection of used vehicles. Greasy sales tactics to pressure you into buying from them. Even after I chose to walk away from a deal I was called by 3 different salesmen from this dealership. One even said that I should buy from them anyways and sell my beater because of how many times my credit was hit while looking for a used vehicle. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone.

After arguing with them they finally agreed to get me a rental, and told me they'd cover the cost of the taxi from my house to the rental company in the morning. Finally they're doing something for me, a $20 taxi ride! Then I get my rental and go to Shaw and my truck isn't there. They have no idea where it is, or what happened. I then had to call the tow truck company and figure out where they towed it. They took it to GSL even though I requested and confirmed it would be towed to Shaw. I finally track down my truck, get to GSL, and give them the receipt for the $20 taxi they said they'd cover. The supervisor looked me up and down, told me they don't cover personal trips, rolled his eyes and walked away. Funny, I wouldn't have taken a taxi had you told me you wouldn't be covering it. My truck has now been at GSL since June 15th. I've been out of my truck I work out of now for already over a week, after already being laid off due to covid for 3 months. Finally when i'm able to work again my new truck breaks down and i'm given a rental i'm told I can't bring my dog in, and I'm responsible for any slight damage or blemishes cause by working out of it. So essentially you can't work and you can't take your dog to the dog park, something you do every morning. For how long you might ask? Well June 16th they told me they're express shipping parts that'll be in by Friday, or monday June 22nd latest. June 22nd I'm told my truck needs a new cam shaft and Chevrolet has no parts in inventory, and they have to manufacture a new one. What?! You don't have parts for a vehicle you sell so now you have to manufacture a new one?! Now I'm stuck in a base model Silverado rental for the foreseeable future while I pay $360 bi-weekly for a top of the line truck that doesn't even work, and needs to have a new cam shaft manufactured? Please do yourself a favour and stay far far away from Chevrolet. They'll sell you a vehicle that throws your belongings out the back and offer stupid solutions like "just strap everything down". That's IF its able to drive of course. IF YOU STAND BEHIND YOUR TRUCK SO MUCH BUY IT BACK!!!

I had an appointment to view and test drive a vehicle advertised on the internet. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment, the sales rep that was assigned to me, Jason Sprague, advised me that the car was at your sister location in the NE and suffered hail damage. No calls or emails to let me know in advance, despite giving all my contact information when booking the appointment. On my way home, I decided to check out the car anyways and the hail damage. When I got their, the sales guy let me know that the car was actually sold and didn’t have ANY hail damage. They also mentioned Jason was made aware of this and should have contacted me. How do you expect someone to take your salesmen seriously if they can’t be straight up from the start with their PAYING clients. Extremely unprofessional!!

However even though it escalated to management 4 days later, John Smith, the manager was amazing and very professional and got everything expedited. service tech was good at his job.absolute rip off for prices.never again will I take my truck to this place.7 inch scratch on passenger side on the box.they had my truck for 20 hours.all they did was replace Body Control Module and Tire Pressure Monitoring System module.charged me $190.00 to install Body Control Module and Tire Pressure Monitoring System module was $170.00. and the rest was labor total $793.00. took the tech 40 minutes to do the job. in the 20 hours that they had my truck they scratched it now that's gonna cost $300-400.00 to fix.THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU, ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY.REMEMBER THE 2008 BAIL OUT IN THE STATES, GM AND THEIR CEO'S GOT TAX PAYERS MONEY IN THE BILLIONS !!! Service can be frustrating occasionally but it is never the SHAW employees fault & they always do what they can to make it better) Every time I leave, I am always happy & well taken care of. Regarding the service department:
They do reasonably good work here, but they bundle hidden costs in without asking you (only explaining the price breakdown when you notice it was more expensive than it used to be)... And they have very little care for accuracy when giving time estimates. If you're there for an oil change, they will tell you an hour and take two. If you're there for major service, they'll tell you it'll be three days and not order the parts for a week.

I understand that when they give time estimates they have the best of intentions and surely think they're going to hit those targets, but they NEVER do. Maybe there's a disconnect between departments? Regardless of intention or cause, this is a big deal; giving reliable time estimates is really important so customers can make alternate plans for work and other vital functions!

The only thing keeping this review from being lower is that when I bring my concerns up to a manager, they do try to make it right. It's still a long standing pattern, though....

I just purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra through Shaw GMC. I dealt with Sam Andrews and can't speak highly enough of the customer service he provided. I met with Sam a few years ago and my experience at that time locked me in as a repeat customer. This time around I contacted Sam about a truck on their lot that I was interested in and by the time I showed up to view it, he had found me a better truck at a better price. I also dealt with the business manager Nikko, who also demonstrated excellent customer service. I highly recommend going to Shaw next time you're in need of a vehicle.

I dropped off my 2011 GMC Sierra for an oil change and a set of new winter tires. Part way through the appointment, a service rep notified me that their mechanic had accidentally cracked one of the chrome-clad wheel covers. She apologized and said they would order a replacement. I made a follow-up appointment and returned the following Saturday, waiting for two hours while the shop replaced the damaged wheel.

The replacement wheel cover was in poor condition - the chrome cladding was flaking, pitted with corrosion, stained with rust and dull in overall appearance from years of neglect. This was in stark contrast to the mint condition of my original wheel covers, which I routinely clean and polish to prevent weather-related damage.

I pointed out my concern to the service rep, asking if they could find a wheel cover in better condition. A few days later, she informed me that her manager disagreed with my assessment and requested that I come back a third time for the service manager to see the issue first hand.

The following Saturday I met with a lady who appeared to be the shift supervisor. I showed her the corrosion, flaking and rust stains on the replacement wheel cover. She dismissed my concerns, insisting that the replacement was in the same condition as the original. She then took a photo of the wheel and said she would speak with the service manager. I have not heard back.

I’m not upset with Shaw GMC for breaking my wheel cover. I’m upset that they replaced it with an inferior product and sent me on a wild goose chase when I voiced my concerns. I gave them multiple opportunities to make things right. My plan now is to order a new wheel cover and install it myself.

Bottom line: they lost a long-term customer over a $100 hubcap.

My recommendation is to make sure that you know what interest rates GM is offering before anyone is offering you a discount.
And if anybody tells you "you will know your interest rate on the pick up day"

Anytime we need Isuzu parts we just give Gary in parts a call and he never lets us down. We wanted to install seat covers in our Isuzu trucks and they weren't available from Isuzu. At first, the people helping seemed great and helpful but even from the start i had to fight for updates on my process/vehicle questions. (this is Billy Tran’s team. Katerina was lovely but she couldn’t help with the lack of quality of the others service) i test drove something, they gave me a price & i said i needed something different so they said they’d work on it asap. to this day (about three weeks later) they haven’t updated me, ignored messages, and failed to communicate ANYTHING to me. i was at first impressed and then almost immediately after, very disappointed & upset. Jessey Morin is the one primarily ignoring, but others have dismissed me as well.
Also not a fan of the credit checks i didn’t authorize.
Don’t bother with wasting your time here, because they enjoy wasting your time a little too much. Upset i even bothered and wasted a credit inquiry & the effort i made. Regret even entering GMC SHAW.

Gave $1000 deposit and it was cold and windy but took for a ride. They said they would check vibrations. Went back 4 days later when it was super hot out. The truck was stripped before we took it out. No running board , no floor mates, back bumper in my picture had a small dent but tail gate was fine. Warned us it was smoked it before we took for first test drive. We went back smell was unbelievable!!! Still no floor mates or running board . Tail gate had 2 big dents . We think it was traded out because I was not in are pictures. Finance guy kept $525 from us . On disability it’s hard to live but even harder to find something I can make payments on. Took total advantage of us!!! I bought here before and will never send anyone there now.

For full disclosure I do work in the service department of this dealership. As you can see from other reviews I have done, I only post real reviews. I do not play games or post false reviews. I also waited a month after my purchase so I would not be posting in the euphoria of a new car purchase. I want to be unbiased.
With that said, here is my review. My purchase experience with Shaw was great. Billy Tran and his team were friendly, helpful and professional. I was not expecting on needing to purchase a new car so soon. My old car was on its last legs on Thursday and I was in my new to me Impala on Monday. Billy had found me a car, gotten the finance and the paperwork together in a short order of time. Everything was ready to sign and the car ready to pick up Monday. They even stayed late to accommodate my schedule. I appreciated the fact as a dealership staff member I was not expected to do footwork myself in order to purchase a car like some dealerships I have worked at. Billy and his team had it all done for me. I got a really got price and a really good car.
The 2018 Impala V6 is an awesome car. Great power, great handling, great fuel economy. The space is awesome inside and in the trunk. This is probably the best car I have ever had. I would recommend this car to anyone. I would recommend and have recommended Billy and his team to my friends and family to help them with there car purchases.

My experience with GMC Shaw has been fantastic. We were looking for a used SUV for our family and Randy was able to show us vehicles with everything we were looking for. He didn’t rush or pressure us into anything. He also encouraged us to get all our baby gear to make sure everything fit before we bought one. We ended up finding one we loved and were brought in with Tin the finance manager. He was so friendly and explained everything to us thoroughly so we fully understood the costs and what was included in the warranty we chose. When we got the vehicle home we realized the AC didn’t work. We called and brought the vehicle into service. Rob the service advisor kept us informed and let us know everything that was going on. Got my first vehicle from here! Such an easier process than expected. Took me 6 days for the process to get a used vehicle from them. Found it Friday afternoon, test drove it Saturday afternoon, then drove it home by Tuesday evening! The whole team was great and really helped out a ton. Made it as stress free as possible. Dealt with Joanna, who was amazing to work with. Got to meet Jesse, Michelle, and Billy from the team who were super friendly as well. Everyone was a lot nicer than I could have expected them to be. I went to Shaw GMC with a ballpark idea of what I wanted in a car, and Rich Pili was able to enlighten me with some options that I didn't even think of. I went with a Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback and it is a perfect fit that suits me and my lifestyle. Rich is great to deal with. Informative. Personable.

My husband and I were looking for a new tow vehicle for our travel trailer. After a lot of research, we decided on a GMC or Chev truck. Sean Spriggs was very knowledgeable about the tow capabilities of the trucks Shaw sells. We wanted to be absolutely certain that the truck we chose would work with our existing RV, so we had a million finicky questions. He answered them all with patience and good humour, even dealing fairly with a last-minute misunderstanding that cropped up as we were taking delivery. Well done!
