George’s exceptional customer service throughout the process of looking for a vehicle, purchasing the vehicle, and follow up exceeded my expectations on all levels. Shortly after purchasing my vehicle I had the unfortunate incidence of spilling the Christmas ham and glaze in the trunk of the car. The smell of the ham and the glaze left quite a mess. I bought a car from here. I told them i felt something on the transmission of the car and the Shop Foreman test drove it and said it was perfect. No issues. I told them i still felt something on it. They said the shop foreman knows what hes doing and hes an expert. A couple of months later, Transmission is gone and left wife on side of road. Dont buy from here. They lie a lot.

Apparently, they were unable to fix my car's issue. I have brought it back for two times already with the same issue and same issue appeared again. This is the third time. I tried to call the service department and they didn't answer my phone call AGAIN.

There was another issue when I first purchased this brand new car for one month. Maybe I was just unlucky. But it was unacceptable that no one answered my phone call. I had to file a complaint to make them call me back.

I will never return back to this dealership. Their service department was unprofessional and their mechanic team could not fix my car's issue.

Let’s start off with saying I’m not a huge fan of car dealerships, most don’t have the interest of the consumer in my experience.
Silverhill Acura changed that for me, even for the fact I purchased a used Acura from them.
I enjoyed the relaxed no pressure attitude of the salesman, I enjoyed it so much that we drove from Edmonton to Calgary twice to purchase from them.
They were great from the start right through the purchase, giving us lots of time and space to discuss it with my wife.
Naturally you would think once the transaction is done and you drive away they are hands off from any other commitment with you especially living 280kms away.
We had some issues with rain sensing not working on the Acura we just purchased that came to our attention about 4 days later, I contacted the salesman Tony who had sold us the vehicle thinking it went so smooth I probably won’t here back from him and I’ll be left paying out of pocket for the fix, whatever may come out of it.
To my surprise he responded almost immediately saying that since it’s not to convenient to come back to Calgary to have a look he suggested that I go to a local Acura in Edmonton to see what we could figure why it doesn’t work
After the appointment and diagnoses, Acura discovered that the windshield was not installed correctly and started the conversation with Tony about what can be done.
He ask for the number of the individual I was dealing with in the Edmonton Acura and after a short time I was told from the advisor that they will install a new windshield and calibration no charge to me.
Pleasantly surprised coming from a dealer that I purchased a used car from, and I made the appointment to get it done.
Tony at Silverhill contacted me and asked what the outcome was at the Edmonton dealer, he made sure to let him know after the install was complete how it turns out and to verify that everything is working as it should.
This is in my experience how all other dealers should be and I will tell everyone that I know looking for a new or used vehicle purchase to go down to Silverhill and at least have a look at what they have to offer.

Wow! So my wife and I traveled from Edmonton in search of a 2010-2012 RDX(it had to be this one for a few reasons). We found one in great shape at the Fish Creek Nissan certified used car department. The next day back home, we heard a terrible grinding noise from the front while braking, not even 500 kms at this point. We drove back to try to get the issue resolved only to be told "it's normal" and that "they would replace the brake pads if we paid for them, that they would cover the labor" and "only if it was done at their dealership". Sounds decent, but still unreasonable considering they treated us like little children and lied about the sound being normal in the first place (very ugly grinding with a rattle to boot), add to that the fact we would have to drive back to Calgary a 3rd time to save what would amount to $70. Frustrated with their lack of expertise and disregard for our satisfaction, we took the RDX to Silverhill Acura to get it diagnosed. They charged us $25 for the diagnosis and were so friendly, I felt as if I was regular customer of theirs. As it turns out, Fish Creek Nissan had put cheap aftermarket pads on and not Acura OEM recommended pads which apparently has caused a few complaints in the past with these particular models(OEM is recommended for a reason, unless you're upgrading). The Acura service department gave us everything in writing and told us to call them with any concerns or debate with Nissan over the diagnosis. The best part is, this was AFTER we explained our situation and indicated that we would most likely not get any of the work done at Silverhill due to the long commute, which is privately owned... that says a lot right there. Sadly, we are currently in a fued with Fish Creek Nissan. But I thought I would take a moment to share my experience with Silverhill because my wife and I were treated like royalty there. Darryl Jones and the lady who helped us(sorry we forgot your name) - thank you for your support and your smile. You gave us the confidence we needed for the trek home.

Purchasing a car is a breeze - regardless of your technical background and car knowledge - everything is thoroughly explained and shown how to use it. Never experienced any technical problems (was I extremely lucky?) with any of the cars. Did all vehicle servicing at Silverhill Acura. Fantastic service department, super knowledgeable and prompt staff. Sometimes (when they are busy) had to wait on the phone for a couple of minutes, but EVERY time the service was an absolutely positive experience. Car is always washed clean, serviced promptly, shuttle service is great. Overall experience - 5 out of 5. Highly recommended team of professionals, from sales to management to leasing department to service team.

I experienced one of the best moments of my life when I walked into Silverhill Acura, I have remembered the date since, it was March 21st, 2010 when I entered the beautiful royal looking building. I was welcomed by a warm and friendly man, (I think he was the manager, but I could be wrong) and he made sure I felt extremely welcome to the building and he even showed me his private back room. This was very interesting considering no other Acura dealers would do this for me.
