July's Best New Car Deals in Canada
For the second consecutive time, over one million new vehicles were sold during the year’s first half in Canada. Only 0.1% behind last year’s benchmark, Canadians purchased nearly 1,041,000 new vehicles in 2018 so far. We may not witness another 2-million-vehicle sales year in 2018, but, from all indications, it will certainly not be lacklustre.
In addition to more 2019 models rolling onto dealers’ lots, some uncertainty still looms due to the possibility of 25% import tariffs being charged on Canadian-made vehicles shipped to the United States, so automakers are all the more motivated to nurture sales in Canada. As a result, there are several excellent incentives available on a wide range of 2018 model-year vehicles.
For example, you can take home an award-winning Chrysler Pacifica with a $2,500 before-tax and a $1,500 after-tax incentive. You can also take advantage incentives as high as $5,000 after tax on the Acura RDX, up to $4,000 on a Buick Envision and $3,000 on the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a luxury sedan because the Audi A4 carries a cool $4,000 in incentives this month and the Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe comes in at $1,500 off. And for those who have small families, the famous Toyota Corolla comes with up to $1,250 off depending on the trim.
