It was a very pleasant experience and we were able to get what we were after at a great price and a more than fair price for our trade in. We were not sure how weird it might be in this new and strange time of shopping during Covid-19 but they had that covered by appointments only (so far) and hand sanitiser everywhere. I only wished that we could have shaken Rosa's hand and her friendly and helpful boss's. We highly recommend the Taylor Creek Volkswagen experience to anybody shopping for a new vehicle.

Taylor Creek service Dec 2 2019 —CHECK YOUR INVOICE!

The work required was done as requested BUT... the work order showed an item (adding w/w fluid at a charge of $3.75) that I knew was not done. Although the charge is minimal, it is disappointing to see bills being padded. When the service advisor went through the invoice and I pointed this out, he went to check with the tech. He came back and apologized and removed the charge. When I asked him why it would be on the invoice his response was "It's a generic thing." This suggests it is added to ALL invoices. Indeed when I checked back for two previous oil changes performed at Taylor Creek the same item was listed "fluid top up" using 3L each time—curious. The previous time I had service performed (Dec. 2018) I thought that 3L was more than needed but I sort of shrugged it off. This time, however, I filled the container to the top in the service parking lot immediately before dropping my keys off.

I sent a letter to there VP and General manager. I received a response 6 days later saying they will look into it and get back to me. it has now been 2 weeks.

On Wednesday August 14, 2019 something let go in the exhaust system. I live in Orleans but purchased the vehicle in 2013 (before you were open) and always had it serviced at Myers VW in Kanata. Because I really didn’t want to drive out to Kanata anymore I decided to bring the vehicle to your shop that evening.

On Thursday I waited for a call. By 9:30 in the morning I decided to call to make sure your dealership. Unfortunately no one answered my calls, it always went to voicemail. I left a voicemail and waited. By 10:30 I tried again and kept getting Frank’s voicemail or a general voicemail that said “Don’t leave a message. No one checks this mailbox, please call again.”

The service adviser called me eventually and informed me that the car was looked at and that the exhaust had broken at the downpipe. The replacement part was $2800 plus tax and installation because it included the catalytic converter. I asked whether it should be under warranty? He informed me that they had already submitted the claim to my extended warranty and if they said no they would try with VW. A short while later I was informed the claim was denied on the extended warranty. I asked about the VW warranty and was informed they would not cover it and my options were to pay approx. $3500 or bring it somewhere else. I asked again why it wasn’t covered under the emissions warranty and was told that your Master Technician said the only time they cover it is if there is a specific OBD/II code. (I later found out your dealership took him at his word and didn’t bother taking 5 minutes to submit the request to VW). I was given the option to pay for the repair or pick up my vehicle and try finding an aftermarket exhaust fix.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. Sid Badhwar a salesman that will lie and make up false non-existing incentives to purchase at Taylor Creek VW. Our new vehicle had some issues when they presented it to us on delivery day, Interior pieces falling off, bad grease stains on the headliner scratches on the paint. We had to make arrangements to come all the way back to get some of the issues fixed the others I guess we have to live with . The service department is absolutely horrible, John Dichette from service is very very rude on the phone and not willing to help. I also should mention it’s near impossible to contact service without leaving a message. Our experience is so terrible we don’t even want our VW anymore currently looking into trading it. If we ever decide to buy another Volkswagen it will not be from the city of Ottawa you will find much better prices in either Toronto or Montreal well worth the drive.

To begin with, my wife and I are very comfortably seated in our new 2018 Tiguan Hi-line (I call it my drunk VW because it’s loaded). We chose Taylor Cr. VW for convenience, just 10 minutes from home. The process started with Andrew Punt who left midway through the transaction. The ball was dropped into Rosa Rodriguez’s court and she very capably completed the deal. Any questions we had were immediately responded to and her guided tour of the vehicle upon delivery was exceptional. She knows her stuff and VW can’t hide anything from her! If you’re shopping for a new ride, look for Rosa at Taylor Cr. VW. You won’t be sorry! Also, the service and parts department are very user friendly. All in all, it seems to be a very happy place!

Sales - I recently had the pleasure of working with Rosa on a new vehicle. I'd done my homework and we were able to come to a deal in a fairly short amount of time. Shoutout to Dan who was able to work the deal. Another big plus was Nicolas in the finance group. I think he's hands down the best biz manager I've dealt with in car buying over 30 years (I changed cars every 4 years or so). A pretty pleasant experience for what is usually a painful process.

Sales - 4 stars - They will get you into a new vehicle, and will make the experience enjoyable. However, I was sold a showroom vehicle, which turned out to be a lemon.

Service - 1 star - The service department does not employ skilled employees, and their technician refused to assist with repairs, so I had to go to another dealership to address the issues. I have moved my loyalty to another dealership.

Matt Nunan was our sales representative and he was very personable, not aggressive and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles that we were considering. From the moment my wife and I arrived at TaylorCreek VW, we knew this was a different kind of dealership. We were allowed our space and checked things out on our own terms.
When I had questions, Rosa, who clearly knew every detail about her cars, answered them immediately.

This dealership is a breath of fresh air. It's like the staff were raised and trained with manners. And the location is perfect - Right off the highway, not cramped up in a busy intersection or city block - lots of open space around to test drive if you're nervous, a giant lot that allows them to carry most models without having to "order" them in with an extra fee, AND there's not a single sleazy salesman/woman on their staff! The nicest people you'll ever meet. I made several trips there were I dealt mainly with Gabrielle, however everyone of the staff were always available to help me out, and did. After a couple of visits to Taylor Creek VW to check out vehicles, we finally decided to purchase a new Golf.
Dealing with Josh was an absolute pleasure, he patiently answered and responded to our numerous questions and priced out our many options and requests, until we finally found what we were looking for. Not once did he make us feel pressured and he even kept us in line with our budget when our eyes wandered to something higher up. His honesty and integrity did not go unnoticed.
