We had the pleasure of working with Joshua Gonzales to purchase our second Golf R and our third car in total, from Oakville VW. Josh has been an absolute amazing gentleman to deal with. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He is extremely hardworking and goes above and beyond to make his customers happy and feel valued. Anytime we needed anything throughout the purchasing process, Josh’s reply was always, “Absolutely, no problem, I’ll take care of it”. If I could give a less stars I would. Thankfully, my new (pre-owned) VW Golf has been awesome. However, my experience at this dealership was/is more frustrating than I ever thought possible. I would never recommend anyone go to a Weins Dealership if they had the opportunity to look elsewhere. I bought my previous car at Mississauga VW and my experience there was much easier.
The first red flag was when the financing manager told me that VW Canada no longer finances Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagens and my only option was to go through their specific financing option (RBC). This was a lie, as I had my previous certified pre-owned VW (purchased in 2015) financed directly through VW Canada. Initially, I thought it could have been an error or a policy change, so I did my due diligence and called VW Canada directly where they confirmed this was not true, they certainly do finance certified pre-owned vehicles. RBC was 1.5% more interest than what the VW standard was, so I voiced my concerns about the sneaky business practice and eventually they managed to setup the financing directly through VW Canada at the rate I asked for.
At the time of purchase, I was promised by the sales guy a trunk liner and touch-up paint pen that matches my car for a couple of paint chips that the car came with. It has been nearly 5 months since I bought my car and I still have not received these items and now the dealership team will not return my emails. I get that something might be backordered, but this is just getting ridiculous. No need to not respond to my emails.
The car was also sold to me on the fact (in writing and pictures from email) that the car came with a rear hitch mount previously installed by the last owner. Not thinking about it, I drove off the lot after the purchase was complete and a couple months later (being that it was winter) I realized that there was no hitch mount hiding underneath the rear bumper. I went back to my pictures on my phone from the day of purchase and compared to the images that the dealer sales guy sent me to sell me the car (clearly a hitch visible, as well as mention of it in the email). I still have not heard back from the dealership, sales guy or the general manager. Just like a lot of people, I work in an industry where you treat your customer with respect and honesty - something I never got. My girlfriend and father have been both looking at cars for the last couple of months and I can guarantee they will not be visiting a Weins Dealership.

I've waited long enough to post this as an act of good faith, but I'm not waiting any longer. I'm going to file a complaint directly with VW Canada and with the Weins Group.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR DEALERSHIP GROUP.
I had SUCH a great experience buying my car here! Joshua was the best... he kept me updated while the car was being delivered (even sent me pics when the car arrived!), and went above all my expectations. Just go here when you start car shopping. You won't regret it!
Bought a 2019 golf gti here with Warren and Josh. Warren and Josh were very friendly, quick to reply, and amenable to our requests. After contacting several dealerships in southern Ontario, Josh assured us we would get the desired model even though it wasn't on their lot. We are happy with our purchase, and we recommend working with Josh if you want the best deal and service.
Making a service appointment was easy & I received several reminders. Service reception staff were knowledgeable & professional. Ride home & back excellent, & work completed on time. Car was cleaned and service carried out by the book so far as I am able to tell.
Just wanted to take the time to say that Oakville Volkswagen was nothing short of amazing in helping me with leasing a 2019 Jetta. Joshua Gonzales went out of his way to help with everything I needed. I would recommend this dealership to everyone looking to get a new or used Volkswagen!
Tom is the man. He makes sure I understand what’s happening with my car in basic terms. Over 4-5 visits he’s earned my trust. The friendly service extends to the shuttle service too. Mike is a downright decent human being and a pleasure to drive with.
It is a nice branch, we got an appointment over the phone while we were on the way. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Even though we didn’t end up buying a car we got the best prices possible and they went above and beyond to find a best match for us. Thank you for your help!
Make sure whatever is agreed upon on sale is WRITTEN down. I would suggest even recording the conversation and taking pictures of ALL documents to back yourself. Came to pick up my car and they didn’t change the brakes and rotors like they said they would and they were trying to argue that they said that. They changed the wording written on the bill of sale after we left. You could tell it was written down with a different pen. Also one key wasn’t working and staff were yelling at each other in the offices. This is the last place I would recommend to buy a car. Joshua was my sales rep. Do NOT trust him.
A root canal would have been a less painful experience! Totally awful experience at this dealership. Refused to give me 2020 pricing and got the "manager run-around" for pressure salesmanship, even though I clearly stated I would NOT be purchasing a car today. Dragging out the manager, Jessa, before I was 'allowed' to leave was total overkill, company policy or not! AVOID this dealership and maybe even Volkswagen completely, if you are looking for a good car buying experience.

My car had to go in for warranty work and recalls. I was amazed at how quickly everything got done. What should have taken at least 6 hours was completed in less than 4! The best part is, when I got into my car (aside from having to move the seat), you would never know anyone was in my car. That is the signature of a good technician. Ryan is definately one of the best.
Bought the car from Arnold ... very experienced. Car was exceptionally clean when I looked at car initially as it was a used vehicle of 6 years but well maintained. When I picked up the car it had been detailed again, the fuel tank was filled and a fresh oil change and never even mentioned.
Andrew is a superstar! He’s very open and honest. I came in thinking I wanted one car and after listening to our needs as a family , he was able to get us a vehicle that was more realistic and better financially. It’s obvious he really cares about his clients. The ship is very clean and everyone is helpful so far. Second car from VW Oakville.

Just bought a car from Andrew. He was very nice and helpful. The car was used and was a bit dented, but they did an amazing job fixing the exterior, detailing and cleaning the exterior. The car is as good as new, even smells brand new too. My whole family has purchased vehicles here over the years and I would recommend Oakville vw to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle!

I took my Golf in for service and I was really impressed with the attention to detail that Ryan in service provided. The car runs great and I feel like I really had a quality, personalized experience. The service advisor and receptionist were very pleasant and easy to deal with. I will be coming back for sure.
The sales man is very nice and responsive. He understands what customers need and works on it. He kept the buying process transparent and delivered exactly what he promised me on overall purchasing experience when my first time stepped in the dealership.
The used car appraisal was done through an industrial software. The used car appraisal team showed me the entire process and gave me the confidence that that will be a fair trade-in price I could get from any dealership for my car.

We went to Oakville VW to consider buying an Atlas to replace our Santa Fe. The reception lady introduced us to Andy, who gave us a first class overview and test drive. We negotiated good terms and with the help of Sam (Andy’s sales manager) we a came to an agreement on trade-in and closed the deal.
Andy communicated all steps of the process in terms of getting insurance, bank draft details etc.so that it was easy to get the delivery paperwork together.
On delivery day Andy sent a reminder via text and we had a very smooth delivery.
We are thrilled with our Atlas and really enjoyed the car buying experience for once! Credit to this dealership and these two guys for making the decision easy for us to switch to VW.

Everyone was helpful until I decided to change my mind on the deal. Every time I called to the receptionist told me to speak to someone in sales, who told me to speak to the finance manager, who never picks up the phone, returned any of the voicemails I left or email I sent. Not even a manager could give me guidance. I wouldn't use this dealership unless you live nearby... customer service & communication is poor, at least to level of being unprofessional

Do not buy from here. Save yourself a headache and buy from Toyota or Honda. 2013 Jetta - nightmare car! This dealership will not help you but offer you maintainance out of warranty - they just keep charging you and say it's not covered under warranty but my car is falling apart! Gorette and Tom at service are extremely rude - when you ask them questions they reply like you're dumb and do not help educate you. They just keep on upselling whatever they can and when you decline they make it seem like your car is going to fall apart and it's going to be your fault. Do your research!!!!!!! that's why this whole Volkswagen gas scandal is going on. This company is built on lies and scams. I don't know how they still exist. If you do - Good Luck!

3 year lease for my 2013 Tiguan ran out end of May. Was actually thinking about taking over the car due to its great reliability and comfort. However, figured out that a lease renewal would be more cost efficient and dropped off my car before going on a 2 week vacation.
In the meantime Arnold Geisler took care of everything for me - From finding the right new car, dealing with the insurance and all the other regulatory stuff. Not only that he's a great sales guy, he's also a great person to talk to.
I picked up the new 2016 Tiguan R-Line yesterday and already in love with this car again.
All dealership personnel is very friendly and I never had any trouble with respect to any service work.
Volkswagen knows its game. You don't get more car for your money anywhere else.
Surprised to see so many negative reviews when I only have great things to say about my experience at Oakville Volkswagen. I needed my transmission replaced so I took the car to OVW instead of my usual garage and I’m really glad I did. Gorette went far out of her way to find me a used transmission that was within my budget, there were a number of issues with the car that also needed attention. Gorette sat down with me and walked me through every issue and was completely honest about what repairs where a safety concern and what repairs could be left alone. I’m extremely thankful to Gorette and Murray, they were kind diligent and extremely helpful when it looked like my car was on its last legs.
