Car Servicing

Hello dear Toyota sales/service shoppers! So I learned the hard way, of course, about dealing with Ens Toyota. Two words (remember them): Niles McKerlie (our esteemed and knowledgable service advisor).

My wife took our car in to get fixed. Mr Niles McKerlie did not fix it. Instead, we paid $164 for ... wait for it... incredibly important life-changing diagnostics. Okay, I'm overselling the importance of the diagnostics... what else can I do at this point?

Mr. Niles McKerlie's expert analysis was that we should pay another $2000 for car repairs lest our car become a flying death trap. He tricked my wife into paying him $164 and all he did was tell us what we already knew, that there was a problem with the car... which we thought he would fix.
Bottom line. We've wised up and will be using a different company. But beware: DO NOT sign anything that Niles McKerlie hands you without reading it... else you will leave poorer than when you arrived.

Amazing experience buying our new car!! No other dealership we've been to has this level of service and professionalism. Despite covid restrictions they made the entire experience from beginning to end a real pleasure. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Can't recommend them enough.

I got a new car from here..and let me tell you the service was like no other!! They took the time to go over cars and find the right for me. And at the same time gave me the best price point possible!! Jim was great to do business with! And I felt taken care of the whole time! Would highly recommend coming here when looking for a new or used anything!

Brutal experience with the parts department. I called in to the parts department to check pricing on stock on a key for a 2016 Toyota Venza I confirmed with the sales rep on the phone the price $70.00 for a programmed key with the remote on it. I confirmed this 4 times with him that the price was in fact $70.00 and that they had stock only to get to the parts department to be told they had no stock and the price was now $240.00 which is insane. The manager Brian refused to do anything and did not care at all about the situation and offered nothing try and fix the issue. I walked out and will be looking elsewhere for a key and any service work that I needed done to it. The only reason I gave three stars was because of who I assume is the service manager (British guy) understood the situation and would of helped out if he could of but of course it wasn't his department.

Very good service this visit. Toyota vehicles are the most reliable, and this is a very nice dealership. They have done a good job at adapting to the current global insanity.

My boyfriend and I purchased a vehicle from ens last week. The sales manager Kevin was very polite and helped us with everything we needed! 😌 also ens Toyota has been very sanitary with the pandemic going on!
Would definitely recommend ens too anyone needing a vehicle.

Maybe it's a wonderful experience buying a new vehicle, I couldn't say. My angle is only on what I've experienced with the service side. I'm going to keep emotion out of this(it would be worse), and just state facts.

I brought 2 vehicles into the province, had one inspected with another garage, one with Toyota, I reasoned I would bring the Toyota to Toyota. The other one invoiced me what they quoted me in the beginning($135), Ens did not(quoted $170, invoiced $200.00 with an obscure shop fees added)

Then they give me an estimate (and it included the word "rough" on it!!) for $7300.00+ to do the work that would get the vehicle to pass. Completely ludicrous, there's no other way to put it. Obviously I went to another garage and all in did the same work for $1900.00 and that's rounding it up slightly.

But the wheel alignment had to be done with Ens. Should be $130 they say. I say sure okay. They phone me later say that some arms are rusted on it will be "worst case now up to $430 to get this alignment done with the additional work" (word for word). Tough to swallow, but what can I do at this point. Go to pick up the vehicle at the end of the day, now it's $600 no joke.(except on me)

There's nothing I hate worse than that- if I as a Sub-contractor pulled that, I would lose customers quickly (I know your estimate I gave you says this... but you have to pay me this...). An unforeseen, and lamely explained "fee" or vague increase in price is poorly veiled simple Greed.

They charge $140/hr for shop time, and the value simply isn't there.

Bought my Corolla here and everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Well informed, friendly and professional. None of the other dealership came anywhere near these prices or quality of customer service. Everything went as smooth as it could in the middle of a crisis. Ron and Andrea were excellent!

I would give it zero rating if possible. Terrible experience with the manager. We already bought like 2 cars from ENS but the manager is extremely rude. He should learn that there is something called “customer service”. I think he just got all his white hairs under sunshine, zero experience of what customer service is called. The staff is good, the agent was ready to negotiate but the manager was being too arrogant and rude. I’m writing this review because I’m not the first one who had this experience. There are so many reviews about the manager. He should learn that you need to please customers to attract them. I know that some customers are tough but he should definitely learn something from this...!!!!

I am totally in disbelief on how the customer service has diminished at this establishment! I went in for an oil change and waited about 10 minutes for the guys across the shop to notice me before another service guy asked me if I’ve been helped and this was with no other customers in the shop at the moment in time! After I finally got out and started speaking to the service guy I asked if my vehicle was good for the recall they were doing on the paint and he snarled at me as if I was crazy! He told me he didn’t know about that so I asked him if he could find out for me! Again he hummed and hawed about it! Finally found out it wasn’t applicable for that service which was fine with me! Ok! On to the next stage! So I waited about an hour and a half for them to call me back for my oil change to be done! Went back and to my disbelief they were trying say that my tire stem had broke and I needed a new tire system! I told them they installed those tires 3 years ago and They’re the only ones to do any kind of service at all( take into the fact that I’ve never even put air into the tires as they never needed it once since I got them to install the set! 10 ply tires) i then have to shuttle home with my daughter and wait another 20 minutes to catch the shuttle! Get into the shuttle and the shuttle guys is less then friendly! Tried talking to him about some things about my daughters car seat and he just acted so frustrated that I was coming with my daughter! I then get a call from Toyota saying that they installed my tires but these weren’t the ones they installed! I told them they have to be as they are the only set I’ve had on there besides the ones we had on when we bought the vehicle! The service manager Dave made me feel like I’ve been lying about the whole situation which I’m fact I wasn’t! After a bunch of arguing I finally got them to fix what needed to be fixed! After 6 years of going to this establishment I will never give them my business again! Super poor customer service along with management! What a waste of time and money!

I’ve waited 6 hours just to change my oil, the told me it takes only 2 hours to finished it. And to tell You I’m early But Some are a head of me, but I knew the vehicle’s came later than me. In my surprise the are done. Our case the same just change oil. So I’m very upset and been telling them twice I’m already late for my appointment . 6 hours is to much you’re service is so very poor. you’re not just true to you’re costumers you lied about time.

It’s easy to say we bought from Ens Toyota because they had the precise car that met our needs – while that’s true,… there are other reasons why we purchased a car from this dealership. Over the last weeks and months we’ve visited a number of dealerships in the Regina area where we are live, but no one seemed to address our concerns. Some sales people took our names, but never followed through, including the local Regina Toyota dealership. It’s difficult to be loyal to a sales person if they don’t follow up or if they make false promises with no follow through – we felt pretty much on our own.

During a visit Saskatoon we took the opportunity to visit the Toyota dealership – and we not only found the right car, but a company who wanted to earn our business and to prove that the customers matters.
We found Ens Toyota to be much more service oriented,… considering the out-lay of money buying a vehicle, this experience was positive, the two and a half hour drive to Saskatoon was definitely worth our while.

The friendly, professional service we received was unlike any of the other dealerships over the past weeks. We’d like to acknowledge Kevin, Darin, and Peter who all took the time and stepped it up to assure us they wanted our business.
Our experience has proven Ens Toyota was something we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family, friends, and associates in Saskatchewan as a place to buy, because they want your business.

Just a bought a 2020 RAV4 from Ens a few weeks ago. I had the best buying experience I could have asked for... starting with the fabulous sales associate Ryan Derksen. He found me a vehicle I loved, didn’t try to up sell me on anything I didn’t want or need, and kept in touch after the sale to make sure I was happy with my purchase. He was super knowledgeable during the test drive, making the delivery coordinator Peter’s job easy when I picked up my new vehicle a few days later, after they added the block heater and aftermarket remote starter (which Ryan got me a deal on as part of the sale price).

Also dealing with Ron about our financing was awesome too... he explained in detail the costs, including the price of the extended warranty and vehicle protection (ie undercoating/paint protection, etc) options without being pushy in any way, and got me a better interest rate than Toyota was offering by going through one of the banks I deal with (he did all the work, I just had to sign some papers). There weren’t any extra fees or major surprises when it came time to sign the loan paperwork so I was super happy - they did a really good job of explaining the payments, etc. before I even made my decision to buy my ride.

I did have a small issue pop up with my new ride, the passenger sun visor mirror kept falling out. Ryan had me stop by and they took a quick look at it to see what the problem was (without having to make an actual appointment). As it needed replacement, they ordered the part that day and set up an appointment for a couple of days later, when they replaced the visor (including doing warranty documentation), washed my vehicle, and had me back on the road within 45 minutes. Super happy with my dealings with the dealership so far and would recommend them highly to others.

I cannot thank Ken Klassen enough! Having my car breakdown for the first time in 9 years in this crazy cold weather... well I was scared. But you squeezed me in and got me my car back by early afternoon. The price hurt (but alternator and battery will do that :) )... but you helped so much in giving me peace. Thanks again! Love my car and love your service department!

From the day I bought my vehicle from Ens (4 years ago) I have been very pleased with their customer service, quality of work, and prices. My father own an auto body shop on the east coast and each time I go to Ens Toyota I feel comfortable and at home (which I certainly cannot say for all of the auto body shops I have been to). Ens is a company built on integrity.
I recently travelled out of province over the holidays and needed some general maintenance, new windshield, and tires put on my vehicle (which they went out of their way to price match for me! - I've never been to a store that does the grunt work of price matching for their customers with an additional 5% off!!). While I was away Ens kept the vehicle, picked me up from my hotel when I arrived back in Sask., and gave me a detailed overview of the work done on my vehicle. Furthermore, Ken Klassen was in constant contact with me informing me of any issues with my vehicle and patiently explaining if/how immediately necessary the repairs were and the cost of each repair. When dealing with Ken and all others at Ens I have always felt respected and have never felt pressured to make any immediate decisions.
Do yourself a favour and go to Ens Toyota - future you will thank yourself.

Usually I have a great experience, this time was not. I was at the dealership 7 months ago for a service and brought up an issues we were having with a blinking cruise control light, and it was not addressed or looked into(there was a internal service bulletin that they did not make me aware of because it was an internal one and not a safety issue) so here we are 6 months later I had my car in for a service again and got them to look at it. This is where they told me about the bulletin and I am now off warranty and I will have to foot the bill to fix it myself. After having a discussion with the service manager Toyota was willing to pay for 60% which is much better than having to pay the whole amount, but it still really bothers me that it was documented way before the warranty was up and the dealership said it was up to me to bring it back in and get it looked into, even though I had no knowledge of the service bulletin, as many of you know when you have kids and a very busy family it’s not that easy to give up your main driver for a full day with no replacement. I can’t help but feel the dealership was somewhat negligent not telling me about the service bulletin when it was first identified by me.

My wife and I just bought a car here. We have a Honda Fit that was caught in a hail storm this past summer and was written off. We were going to get another Fit, but the Honda dealer said they have none and have no idea when they're going to get more. We decided to check Ens since we were out. I'm glad we did. The salesperson was very friendly and helped us find a car that we love. The finance person was very helpful and set us up with financing that works very well. All in all, a great place.

Had our car in for a over night service
Rental provided
Courteous staff
However getting the car home rattling of the exhaust pipe
Left message with service manager
No follow up
Drive 1.5 hours back to the shop
Monday - they dealt with it promptly
All good minus them forgetting to tighten whatever needed to be tightened after the service - no idea how it was initially missed - but it was fixed at no charge - disappointed device manager never followed up with me

I would leave zero stars if I could.
I’ve always driven Toyota vehicles because they are very reliable and last forever. The check engine light came on in my car and my husband who is quite handy checked it with his code reader. After some quick research he found that it could be the spark plugs, or potentially the coil packs. We changed the spark plugs and ran a test to see if it was the coil packs. It was neither of those simple fixes so he suggested I take it in.

I decided Toyota auto centre might have some insight because it is a Toyota vehicle, turns out I was wrong. When I dropped the vehicle off I told them specifically that the problem was not with the spark plugs or coil packs because we had checked. The guy who checked me in wrote this information down on my profile. The next morning when they started looking at the vehicle we get a call first thing. ‘We think it’s the coil packs, it will be $500 to fix it.’ - after we explained that it wasn’t the coil packs and that there was a simple test to tell us that, the mechanic said ‘oh ya, your right, I guess I was wrong it’s not the coil packs’. They continued the diagnostic and then called back to let me know that they didn’t know what was wrong with it. They said that they put in a fuel conditioner but that the light might come back on. Sure enough the next time I’m driving the light comes back on.

Against my better judgment we took the car back to Toyota to get looked at again. They looked at it charged me $250 for a fuel system clean then basically told me the that this won’t fix the problem, because they really don’t know what’s wrong with it. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I would 100% recommend going anywhere else to get your car fixed. Hopefully no one else has an experience quite as bad as mine.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before I gave my review as I wanted to be sure the car was as good as the experience I had buying it.

And I can say with confidence that it was!

Shopping for a car had been a nerve wracking experience. I’m a first time buyer and this was the first big purchase I had ever made for myself.

However Ens Lexus Toyota made it the best experience I could have had. Toyota is a company that trusts their customers and puts them first in everything they do. Even buying a used car, the quality customer service made me feel like I was a VIP customer in to buy the newest model.

The car itself was also everything I could ask for. Despite being used, the detailing and work that Toyota put in to it made it feel brand new.

Overall if I’m ever in the market for a new car, Ens Lexus Toyota will be the first place I go.

Ens was (by far) the best dealership I have ever dealt with in Saskatoon. Everyone was so kind, informative and laid back. Rob (sales), Andrea (finance) and Stephanie (walk-through) made sure the whole process was seamless from test driving, to purchasing and finally picking up my new RAV4. Couldn't rate my experience here more highly.

I have a 2006 tundra that had a leaking rear wheel seal. I pulled the axle out and felt a slight bit of play in, what I thought, was the bearing. I didn't have a press, so I took the axle to Ens to press the bearing off and a new one on. I brought it in on a Tuesday and was told it would be ready the following day. The following day came and went,no call. I phoned Thursday and was told it would be done and they would call. The following day I called again and had to leave a message. No return call to me. They called my wife instead, she called me. I went there immediately and the service writer was out to lunch. Another writer brought me the invoice and it was $938.84. It was supposed to be 144 for the bearing and 3/4 hour labour. They replaced everything and had no explanation. The new bearing had the same play as the original. Good thing I didn't bring the truck to them. I'd have to take out a mortgage.
I love the truck but will try to stay as far as possible away from their shop. Danny Ens had always treated me great in times past. I don't know what happened.
I think I will make the trip to Prince Albert if I need something done that I can't do myself.

Extremely friendly from the time I pulled in to the time I pulled out. The service advisor ran through everything that they were looking for and advised to have tires rotated. I was shown where the lounge was and I enjoyed the cafe with complimentary coffee. Oil changed and tires rotated within 45 minutes and they even washed the truck after they were finished with it. I paid $117 for the services ($35 for tire rotation). Very reasonable. Will go back for the next oil change and all of them afterwards. With service like this more people should be coming here as they can service all makes and models of vehicles. I have an F-150. No appointment necessary. Wheel alignment checked every time you come. I quite simply cannot recommend Ens Lexus Toyota in Saskatoon enough.

I have pretty much never in my entire (almost) 48 years on this planet been treated so well at a car dealership. Product Advisor Tim Kurtenbach was incredible and patient with helping me find the right vehicle, Pre-Owned Sales Manager Jim Larkins was so great to deal with and Senior Financial Services Manager Darin McLeod went above and beyond with helping me with the best financing possible.

They made it both easy and fun to get my new-to-me wheels - and to cap it off, they have a promotion right now where you can play Plinko where I won a free $100 gas card.
Josh Ens and Bob Harder have a winning team on their hands - if you're looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle, go to Ens Lexus Toyota in Saskatoon.
