The sales rep. I spoke to, made my offer as I live far. He said that he was able to make decision on price. He told me to make deposit over the phone ($) which means you are accepting the offer. I told him that based on description I'd buy the car but deposit stands pending my viewing and driving the car. He did not like that and calls me 5-10 minutes later saying that he could not sell the car for that amount as he checked the autotrader and similar cars are selling for a lot more. If you do not have the decision making ability, do not pretend and waste people's time and energy. be knowledgeable about your product, truthful and straight forward.

After 16 years with my 1998 Toyota Scienna I decided to buy new again and got a 2015 Toyota Scienna. I used Unhaggle and it was great. After leasing two vehicles and purchasing one from this dealership, I went to them first when shopping for a new car last month - I was interested in a RAV4. I asked about their lease rate (5%), which is significantly higher than their competitors. I was told (in what I felt was a combative, rude email) that the residual cost would offset the difference in payments. This was not the case, as there were still significant differences between the cost of leasing a RAV4 and their closest competitors, which I mentioned in response. I then received, from the salesman that I had been loyal to for fifteen years, a passive aggressive response that didn't address any of my concerns. It wasn't at all what I was expecting from literally the only dealership that i had ever shopped at, from the only salesman I had purchased every one of my vehicles from. I was shocked at how flippantly I felt I was being treated.

I was contacted by the sales manager afterwards who offered to work with me on the cost, but by that point I had already contacted other dealerships who seemed much more eager to discuss ways to sell me their cars.

Even more shocking to me was when I found out while visiting another Toyota dealership, that there was a "loyalty" promotion happening that I, somehow, didn't qualify for because I has fully paid off my last car. That's right - despite fifteen years of business and three vehicles, I didn't qualify for Toyota's loyalty program, because it was only for people with an existing lease or finance agreement with Toyota. I paid the final installment on my 2015 Corolla in February, so my loyalty was, apparently, no longer valued enough for me to qualify for the discount.

I ended up leasing a Honda CR-V, and I'm very happy thus far. I wouldn't have even stepped foot in to Honda, however, if Aurora Toyota had treated me the way I would treat a long time, loyal customer who had spent tens of thousands of dollars with my business. I was actually shocked at how little that seemed to matter to them. I'm a realist and I understand that I'm a drop in the ocean for Toyota - but this was the business that I had spent more money with than any other business in the world, and I thought that might mean a little more than absolutely nothing to them.

The only good thing about this location is the service staff. The service manager, Gilles, is incompetent, uncaring and doesn't follow through on anything he says. Sold me and installed a broken windshield and wouldn't replace it and kept saying he'd do something in a few days and never would. Email replies took 2 weeks. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

oh my goodness! the mechanic BEN is A M A Z I N G 5 stars. excellent service. when the car was in the shop ben took the time to call and deliver exact information on the car when it was happening notifying the owner with updates on what he needed to do when noticing issues. ben would not do anything to your car with out calling and consulting you first. he came up with multiple solutions for our problem and even went out of his way to text me when i couldn’t understand a change he walked me through it step by step. devoted appreciated thank you ben!!

Went in for an oil and filter change and was in and out in hardly any time at all. Enjoyed a complimentary coffee and cookie while I waited and watched the local news and how the stock market was doing. Tina Saunders, one of the several Service Consultants recognized me when I was parking my Avalon and came out to meet me and did a walk-around with the car before I even entered the service area. I just helped my in-laws with the buy out of their leased car. We decided to go to Aurora Toyota because of proximity to where we live. When being assisted with the buy out, our Toyota representative, Daniel Swanek was incredible to work with.

Being a third party in this transaction I was expecting it be difficult, but Daniel started off by acknowledging my role in the entire transaction and assured me that it would be smooth. The entire process lasted 30minutes and he was super thorough and attentive and most importantly to me he was super patient with me and my in laws as I was trying to help them make sense of everything.

A week later he called my in laws to check in with them and they were so excited and impressed with Daniel's level of care. They can't stop raving about the customer service and honestly to this day they still refer to Daniel's customer service as a standard for everywhere they go.

The parts department has 2 people working there. One (the manager) is OK, but the other person is the most unfriendly, unwelcoming individual I have ever dealt with in retail. I bought many parts there because the location is convenient for me, but I've now taken my business to Richmond hill Toyota, so that I wouldn't have to deal with this guy.

The design of the parts department itself is simply horrible. The computer with diagrams is nowhere near the front desk. This makes it hard for a customer to look at the diagrams if need be (have to walk around, through multiple doors and halls to the other side of parts department to see them), but the above mentioned service rep is also painfully slow to walk between the two locations to give you quotes.

Didn't have to deal with service, as I service all my cars myself, but the one time I got a quote there, I knew with certainty they rip people off. Asked for a quote to fill my A/C with refrigerant after I replaced a leaky component. I have tested the system for leaks, and completely dehydrated it with professional-grade equipment. I didn't have a valid license to purchase refrigerant myself, so I asked them for a quote while I was there to buy some parts. I clearly explained to the rep exactly what needed to be done (JUST a fill into a vacuum , 1.4lbs of gas..) Their quote: $60 per pound for gas, plus AN HOUR (!!!) labor. So about $200 total. This completely outrageous. Retail price for refrigerant is about $3-4 per pound, and this job would literally take no longer than 5 minutes to do.

For a quality japanese truck.. this dealership does not represent the Toyota name any justice. Bought a brand new 2012 Tacoma TRD sport on Dec/07/2012.. part of the deal was to have side step bars installed on delivery.. well that didnt happen.. was told i would get a call when the bars arrive.. that didnt happen.. called back 2 wks and 2200km later to be told Service deparment has no idea where they are or has no idea the bars are for my truck.. Sales claim the bars have been sitting in shop for a entire week already.. I asked why i was not notified to have an appointment booked.. finally after 15 mins of Sales talking to Service department, I got to book a appointment for Dec/31/ 2012 to be FIRST.. i repeat again -FIRST- on the list for 8am.. they didnt take my truck onto the hoist until 8:30.. didnt see anyone working on my truck until 9am... its currently 10:03 and im still waiting. What is the point in booking a apppointment, if there is no priority in booking time? I also asked if they can check to see if my winter tires was properly balanced. Was told it will cost me $70+ tax just to have them checked.. I had a GMC Envoy SLT that had service from dealer many times and they was a pleasure to deal with.. complimentary car wash everytime.. balance, tire pressure etc. etc..
Was expecting same or even better from Toyota.. very dissapointed i was wrong about that fact.. either that or this paticular dealership is very dysfunctional.. wished i bought my Toyota somewhere else.. 2hours later and late for work to get side step rails installed that was supposed to come with the Truck.. great service eh?

Update - 2015 : for the past year i have been getting my truck serviced at Stouffville Toyota.. Which brings hope back to the Toyota brand after dealing with them.. Great Service, Great Staff, always complimentary car wash.. I was blown away!

I told them that I would have to take a whole day off just to do do this 2 hour job. They are role model of service. I am not even their customer and they treated me as if I was their best client:
I ran out of gas today across the street at -16degrees. I am driving a Yaris, but did not buy it from them nor did I ever go there before. Because it was so cold, I walked to the service department ready to plead they should help me, because I own a Toyota and I might become a future customer.

They did not even ask what car I am driving. They don't have gas there. They weren't interested in potential business. They just wanted to help. The service rep was super friendly and called the service driver Paul, who drove me with a gas can to the closest gas station, then Paul waited until my car was running again before he left.

When I went later in the day to drop off a little thank you gift, they were visibly touched.

These people are there to help and focus on you regardless of making money off you. Review sites like this often attract extremely dissatisfied customers, but the majority of people who have a good experience don't take the time for praise. So, please keep this in mind when you rely on review sites.
