Dave from service and the rest of the staff at Hilltop Toyota, are absolutely amazing to work with. I had a screw in my Tundra tire and had to haul 8000lbs of hay and 3 horses the same day. They found a way to fit me in to switch out my damaged tire so I could drive safely again on the roads. Really appreciate the quick and friendly service. You guys are truly an outstanding team and go above and beyond each and every time. Thank you! I highly recommend Hilltop Toyota!
Overall disappointing. The sales experience was nice though, great to deal with, no pressure. Too bad the used vehicle we purchased has had a variety of issues starting 24 hours in. Many parts that they replaced after the sale had to be replaced again months up to a year or so later. Oh and their quote to replace a part was substantially more expensive than another dealerships quote. We probably would have had better luck buying privately rather than from this dealership. We really expected more.

What a pleasure doing business with Hilltop. I live out of the area and was looking for a used Kia Soul. My family found a great one at Hilltop and negotiated with Sales. I purchased a Toyota Sienna from Hilltop Toyota recently and had the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. Robert, our Product Advisor, took the time to make sure we knew all about the van we were purchasing. It was a no pressure experience. I received a fair trade in value for my car, without feeling like I had to fight for it. The big take away for me was that I was treated respectfully. As a woman I often get talked down to and flat out ignored by dealership employees. Purchasing a new vehicle during covid was not as easy as I would hope but the folks at Hilltop Toyota were great. They kept me up to date on the arrival of my new highlander as well as the office staff answering all my questions and helping me navigate the paperwork.
The most remarkable thing was when I did receive my new car, Richard spent HOURS with us! Answering all our questions about the features. Never once did he rush us or make us feel he had better things to do! And we had a lot of questions! The service department even sat down with us to explain all that as well!
All in all it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily recommend them!

I don't think it's possible to heap enough praise on the staff of hilltop Toyota. I read a few reviews and was impressed and so my wife and I drove from Summerland roughly 3 hours to deal with them and we were not disappointed at all.
Robert in sales was terrific to deal with, he had funny anecdotes, interesting stories and is very skilled at building a rapport with customers. He knows the products inside and out as well as the history of different aftermarket accessories for the various vehicles. This is a guy who takes his job very seriously and clearly enjoys where he's at. I truly hope he's there the next time I need a vehicle because I definitely want to deal with him.
Sharla the financial services agent was also great to deal with; she was very clear with her explanations of various documents, clearly a very organized individual and quite personable to deal with. After our appointments we headed out for lunch and quite quickly she phoned us to give us an update and inform me that she had booked in all the various appointments needed to prepare our new vehicle and set up a date and time for us to take delivery, transfer insurance, and transfer my canopy to my new truck. No sooner did the call end did I receive an email with all the documents I needed for my personal records.
This place operates like a well-oiled machine there was no pressure, no platitudes, no fake flattery or any other such annoyances. The staff comes across as genuine, professional, and happy to be where they're working and doing what they're doing.

Blair and the team at Hilltop Toyota went above and beyond to work with me when purchasing my new 2019 TRD Tacoma Pro. It had the misfortune of falling into the massive Toyota low pressure fuel pump recall just before we completed the deal but after I sold my old truck in January. Then due to COVID-19 issues it took an exceptionally long time for the work around to completed by Toyota. Blair went to bat on my behalf with Toyota Canada and he and the service department took very good care of me at their expense to make sure I had a vehicle to drive while I waited and that the accessories I had ordered for the truck went on with no additional cost. They took it to have the canopy installed, wired it and added a remote start for no cost. They were generous with the warranty options. They were excellent to work with, kept me up to date on the progress, and answered my questions honestly and with integrity. What could have been a very frustrating experience was made much easier with their attention to excellent customer service.

I took a chance and went on there website late Friday night the customer service person forwarded my request to Michelle and I was booked for 11 am by noon I was on my way to Banff thanks to a very organized team that cared for a Toyota owner's safety.
My wife and I were traveling to Calgary from Vancouver Island on Tuesday, 7 July. I inadvertently added a few liters of diesel fuel to my Corolla’s tank before I realized what I was doing. After completing the fill with gasoline, and figuring I had only done a minimal bit of potential damage, we resumed our travels. Everything was fine until the outskirts of Salmon Arm when our muffler became considerably louder. I wondered if the catalytic converter had been burned out, so we came in to Servicing at your establishment.
Long story short, we were on our way again after three hours, with the tank drained and cleaning of the fuel delivery system, and a muffler repair. My note today is to express my gratitude and appreciation for the empathetic and quick help your servicing intake agent offered us as soon as he understood our predicament. My wife and I feel we were generously afforded your establishment’s resources, flexibility, and attention. I offer both my compliments and our thanks for your excellent service.

Shopping for a used vehicle for a few months. We had seen some great reviews for Hilltop Toyota and they had some vehicles we were interested in. When we arrived on site we were greated with an opening statement. "There are no sales people available but if you want to deal with the local flunky I can help you out"
The sales experience was great, Hilltop assessed our trade and offeried fair value. We test drove several vehicles, went over several car fax reports and mechanics reports. The flunky turned out to be a pro. We took off for a coffee then decided to go back, pick a vehicle and buy it.
Here is where the service went beyond expectations. We picked a car, made a deal and completed the purchase. On the way home we experienced some issues with the Vehicle. We called back and explained the issue. We were told not to worry they would take care of us. We ended up going back to the dealer with the car. Bad right? Not!
We were told we could back out of the deal at any time. This gave us peace of mind. We grabbed a loner vehicle and went home.
The next day the Dealer was open we returned to make another offer. We asked to trade the one we purchased for another one. Without revealing any numbers we can tell you, the deal we ended up making was excellent and we left the dealership happy. That's how car shopping should go.
I highly recomend Hilltop Toyota and will definately return for my next purchase.

Having had a few dealings in the past with the service dept for my wife's Toyota she bought at Hilltop over a decade ago (still runs strong very little has gone wrong...it's a Toyota afterall), we had already been very impressed with the staff encountered.. Not at all like most dealerships... genuine caring happens there ..you feel it straight away
Shopping the used market for a truck last week, being honest hilltop wasn't on my radar for what I was looking for (and meet my budget).but driving by I felt compelled to drop in and see ... you just never know till you find out
When Robert came out to introduce himself the level of comfort and his attentiveness is felt immediately... not cut from the stereotypical cloth everyone comes to expect at car dealers ... feels like someone you already know or would hang out with ...zero pressure and extremely knowledgeable on all makes (sounds like he's owned them all and then some lolol) focusing on what my needs are and what it is I want to know as opposed to the typical ramble that chased me off two other lots prior

Although I am in Kamloops, I didn’t have a great experience when going to the local Toyota dealership so we had emailed around to a few other Toyota dealerships in our area and many didn’t respond. Robert responded right away, was attentive, and was so pleasant to deal with. We decided to head down there on the weekend when he was working and he was amazing. Car shopping is never a fun experience (in my opinion) and he made it as easy as possible. Sharla in finance was also so kind. Purchased my first brand new vehicle there and I will definitely be back for all of my Toyota needs! No leeway on warranty claims. Apparently a clutch isn't part of the drivetrain warranty and 20,000km over voids the basic warranty.

I was shopping with my stepdaughter for her first car and initially spoke over the phone with Ryan from sales. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions thoroughly. The next day we showed up for a test drive and he had everything all ready to go. He knew we were also seriously considering another car at this point and I appreciated the fact that he was not at all pushy but did provide some very useful information on fee structure and warranties that helped us make an informed decision. We decided to purchase the car from Hilltop Toyota.

We recently bought a vehicle from Paul at Hilltop. With his expert insight & input we decided on a 2019 Corolla Hatchback. It has oodles of safety features and is great fun to drive (this is coming from someone with a history of despising driving). Chuck and his service team were amazing! We live in Calgary and worked typically with our local Toyota Dealer there. Since day one that we purchased our brand new 2016 Tundra, we had experiencing multiple issues with front end vibration. Despite numerous concerns and complaints, we were told by our local Toyota Dealer in Calgary that there was nothing wrong with our Truck. We gave up, but soon the vibration started getting worse, we decided to take the vehicle into a servicer in Saskatoon, who ended up rebalancing the tires resulting in the minor alleviation of the vibration. As we continued our tour, the vibration returned at higher speeds. We became very concerned and while camped out in Salmon Arm, we contacted the service department at Hillside Toyota. Debbie (reception) and Chuck quickly returned my call and fit me in to have a look. They discovered that 3 of the 4 tires were still out of balance. After rebalancing, a test drive and a careful reassessment, Chuck called me again and asked if they could keep it for an extra day just to see if there was something extra they could do. He soon called me and informed me that the rotors were in fact defective and would be covered under my vehicles manufacturer's warranty!!! They also detailed it and made sure that it was better inside and out compared to when I dropped it off. Sincere thanks Hillside Toyota, but more importantly thanks Chuck for taking care of my Tundra! I know where I will be coming to service my vehicle moving forward!

Can't say enough about the wonderful people at this dealership! After we got turned away by every shop in Revelstoke, the folks at Hilltop Toyota made room in an already full Friday evening to look at our truck that broke down coming through the mountains on our way to a wedding on Vancouver Island. They stayed late, made us AND our dogs comfortable in their waiting room, they made sure we had a place to stay the night, and moved heaven and earth (on a Saturday no less) to help us get to the wedding (and we made it in time for dessert!). James and Tracey and the rest of the gang at Hilltop Toyota are a shining example of customer service at its finest. We are strongly considering a road trip to Salmon Arm every year for regular maintenance appointments :)
