I have been dealing with the service team for 2 years and have always felt well taken care of even for the small things. They are prompt with service and calling with an update. Veronica and Carey are always upbeat and helpful. I picked up a small piece for my wiper for my old 2008 Sienna van (which is still going strong) and Adam from parts and a service technician came out to help me with it to ensure that it would work and I was safely back on the road in no time, with a working windshield wiper! I would recommend the service dept any day and when the time comes for a new vehicle I will not hesitate to buy from this dealership.

Around 7 Dec 2019, I was picking up a 2011 Tundra from a Kelowna dealership (not Kelowna Toyota) that I had finalized the paper work on in mid November, while picking up the keys the sales rep informs me there is a recall on my truck and that Toyota will cover the recall work etc.(why this recall information wasn't disclosed prior to me picking up the truck is beyond me, but not relevant to the story) Anyways, I was planning on leaving the following morning to drive over 16 hours north as that's where I live. So I drop into Kelowna Toyota late morning/early afternoon, to see if I can get this recall taken care of. The lady behind the counter (Veronica? I think is her name), tells me if I can leave the truck with them for the rest of the day that it should get done. I leave the truck with them and maybe 3 hours later, recall work is finished, no issue. - Awesome, huge relief knowing I could continue on with my itinerary.

Fast forward to mid January, and during a brutal cold snap (around -40C), my truck starts to have a small coolant leak. As I jump to conclusions of what the problem could be (thermostat, water pump, radiator crack etc) and after I poke around trying to do a self fix, I decided to call Kelowna Toyota to get some insight and Geoff answered the phone, and after briefly telling him I was in a remote location where the nearest Toyota dealership was over 4.5 hour away, he talked me through what the symptoms of my truck were and he offered a very simple solution of using a $2 gear clamp to solve my issue. This solution is still intact and is holding well in the frigid temperatures. At the end of the phone call he says to call him back to let him know what the outcome is.

The fact that Geoff took the time to talk through what the issue was and provide a reliable solution over the phone, speaks volumes to the peace of mind aspect of a vehicle owner, knowing that if a issue arises there is someone you can call who will take the time to troubleshoot with you and offer some sort of solution.

Geoff- Thank you for taking the time to troubleshoot and offer your professional advice to offer a simple do it yourself solution.

I purchased a vehicle from here and had it shipped to a place near my home since i live in the lower mainland. When i received the vehicle it was what i wanted but it did have a few issues with it. It had low air in the tires the rear wiper was not working (i fixed that myself). The license plate light does not work (changed the bulb still not working). It was supposed to come with a full tank of gas but only had a quarter tank. I went and filled up and submitted a copy of the receipt and was told they would reimburse me, still waiting. The car fax report was supposed to be in the vehicle but was not, it was supposed to be mailed to me but still have not received. The staff are very friendly but the follow up service lacks. I received my vehicle on Halloween and i am still waiting. They say they did an inspection but why where these things missed. I have also just recently noticed that the rear defrost has a wire not connected so it does not work. Would have been 5 stars if things would have been resolved.

I am using the account which I don't use for review now since I already have left with my original account before.

When I bought this car I was here under work permit without permanent residency visa and didn't have enough credit. So my dealer and his finance officer gave me a deal. At that time the officer explained It had payment with high interest rate but it would go much down when I get my permanent residency visa. For example, $200 will go $160 bi-weekly.

Now I almost got the visa and wanted to renew my lease. So I contacted my dealer to renew mine with the expectation of decreasing my bi-weekly payment. Unfortunately, it turned out I wasn't able to decrease because I had to transfer my lease to another car. It meant I had to buy new car and it would cost me a lot again. If I knew that I needed to buy the another car when I made a contract at the moment I would not go with that.

my dealer said that he was not part of that meeting about my finance so he had no control of it. So both of them didn't give me enough information about how my lease would go and didn't do their job properly. So I am not really happy with it and pretty upset of it. Actually, my dealer mentioned that he didn't do nothing with that and didn't have any fault on sales side. I don't care if he is not part of the conversation or not and anyways that is you guys job to make clients understand. (There was something here but I removed this part because I didn't record it. However, I am pretty sure he said the word.) Anyway, I think that is not necessary because there is nothing to change for me and I know I can't win the fight with that.

Also, I am really disappointed of Kelowna Toyota and even Toyota as well. I will never buy any cars in Toyota in the future and also make my friends not to buy. So this is the only thing I can do with.

Lastly, the best thing was he tried to sell new 2019 car as well. It will give me great three more years to pay with same amount of money bi-weekly. There is more I want to talk but I stop here. I take out his name here because it is unfair as he said.

It is super unpleasant experience with Toyota and people please be careful when you buy here. Toyota needs to treat people right.
