I worked with Lanique and was misquoted the pricing for a 2019 Corolla LX three times in a row. The first time I was told that the AMVIC fee would be $20 (it's not, it's $6.25), the second time I was misquoted the invoice price by $1,000, and the third time, as well as both times prior, I was quoted to pay tax on top of existing tax (AMVIC, Tire, and A/C) which is a huge no-no.
I gave two stars because Mayfield WAS friendly, prompt with communication, and had a wonderful selection of inventory to choose from. While I understand that "mistakes" happen, three times in a row is unacceptable and I purchased the car at another dealership.

I tried to get a good price from Mayfield directly, and wasn't successful. They were however the best price from my Unhaggle search. I did buy a new vehicle from them using Unhaggle's services. They accept technology! My salesman posted a YouTube video of my truck, and all the dealership staff I interacted with responded well with texts and emails. I like that very much. It's a big time saver for me. I was made very comfortable by my salesman. He certainly went the extra mile. I am very happy with my purchase and the service I received. I was pricing out a 2016 Tacoma on line . Since I was keen on getting the best deal possible I followed a thread that led me to the Unhaggle web site that assists buyers in getting the best deal available .
The information I provided to Unhaggle, ultimately had Danny Paulino from Mayfield Toyota contact me and offered to answer any questions I had regarding the Tacoma. To my delight Danny obliged to negotiating via email. Danny was very professional and not at all pushy. Danny graciously allowed me the time and space I needed to allow me to make an informed decision.

I have not purchased my new truck yet, due to some issues Toyota is having with Tacoma automatic transmission shifting. I will definitely give Danny the first opportunity to close a deal with me when the said issue is resolved.

I agreed that the service department does not provide quality services and only want to make money. Last year, my highlander's engine light was on and they told me to replace the engine. I spent around $1000 to check why the engine light was on but they did not tell me what caused the problem. I have switched to another dealer and my engine is still good and engine light is not on any more.

I would avoid getting anything other than a basic oil change and tire swap done here. I've been trying to resolve an issue with Toyota Canada and the Mayfield service manager for months now. The service manager is never available to take calls or return messages. I finally gave up. I will go elsewhere for my next service.

I was searching for a RAV4 Hybrid. I was told at a different dealership that they wouldn’t give any discount because it was so popular. I contacted Jason Deng at Mayfield Toyota and he immediately offered me a discount and built a deal that met all my needs and even included a car starter. Jason was even able to get a different model and colour in for me when others couldn’t. He was quick to respond and bent over backwards to show me they wanted my business. Having said that, at no point did I feel pressured, he always left me in the drivers seat and let me make the decisions on my own time. This made the experience stress free and extremely comfortable. I will never shop at another dealership. If you want the best deal and no pressure I highly recommend Jason Deng. Hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had.

I recently purchased a used Tundra from these guys. I started the process online from a 3rd party website and all of my dealings were through email until just after we started negotiating numbers. We did a trade-in of our existing truck and the process was seamless from the evaluation (over pictures as we live over 2 hours away) to driving the new truck away. We showed up to our appointment with Andy Lam and nothing changed from our expectations. Andy was great to deal with. During our test drive we discovered a button that wasn't working so they put it in the shop right away to get it fixed. All in all it took about 4 hours from the moment I walked into the dealer, to getting the truck fixed and when we drove our new Tundra off the lot. The staff were great to deal with, I felt looked after in every way with 0 concerns. I was already happy with the service prior to showing up in person, and my experience only got better once I got there. We had negotiated our price before I arrived, nothing changed and no surprises with the trade-in. These guys are great to deal with and I would be happy to deal with them again in the future even though there are dozens of Toyota dealers closer to me. Thanks again Andy!

Busy place. They would not book a routine maintenance appointment without VIN (?). "No VIN - no appointment". Used to be a friendly place but not any longer. It is true they are busy and therefore can afford upsetting new customers. I ended up going to a different Toyota dealership where a great service was provided. I went for service today 2019/July 27 just for my free Oil change... It took 3 hours .. I had a booked time at 11.30 and when I booked they said it will only take 30 minutes... When I reached they said it will take 1.30 hour.. Later that changed to 3.30 hour for me.. I think they are cheating on customers with this free oil change program and they don’t care about our time..
I don’t want to come back again with this place and I never recommend this place to anyone in my life for any kind of services...
Just waste of time and our Money..
Last time they fixed the chip on my windshield and in a month it cracked.. they said they fixed it but I am not sure... Don’t believe them too.. Whenever you done with some services double check your local Mechanic too..

I booked in for a service appointment as my car had been making a clanking sound when going over dips. I received a call as soon as I got home which was about 20 minutes later telling me that the front struts needed to be replaced and was quoted at 1600 for the job. To say I was shocked was an understatement as I had recently purchased the car through a private seller who had assured me that the struts had been replaced. I go pick up my car and ask to see a break down of the quote which they do not have and further more do not charge me the diagnostic fee of 80 dollars, from here I am starting to feel unsure about the situation and start to question if they even looked at my car. After waiting 30 minutes they eventually came up to me with a piece of paper with a scribbled number on it and not a proper break down of the quote or cost.
I decide to call the private seller up who tells me that he replaced the struts himself after Mayfield had told him they needed doing and quoted such a high price. From there I decide to call my friend up who is a mechanic, he has a look at my car and tells me that the struts have been replaced. To say I felt cheated is an understatement, Mayfield did not even look at my car or check to see what the real issue was. I call them back up and their response is pathetic, they tell me that when someone comes in with the same issue on the same car they do not bother to check again and just let it sit in the garage. This is shocking to me, for starters I nearly paid 1600 bucks for something that did not need doing nor had been actually checked for by the service shop and secondly how dangerous this is to give false information on a car which could potentially lead to an accident. The man on the phone had nothing to say and asked if he could set up another appointment to which I declined due to the fact that the trust has been broken and I wouldn’t be surprised if they lied about something else. This is a poor excuse of a garage and I would not recommend coming here for the servicing of your car.

Andy started our conversation online in the beginning and answered all my questions right away. Right after our online conversation, Andy sent me a link he made so that I can view a video for a similar model’s all functions and features, as well as the color I asked for! Because the specific color I asked for, I need to wait for about a month to get it ordered in. A month without a car to drive (My car was driven away by my family member for a summer job), you can imagine how inconvenient it is: shopping, going to work, doctor’s appointment, etc. But Andy managed to have two loaner cars for me, one I drove 4 days and switched to another because the first loaner car needed to be in shop for a buyer’s road test. I had a car to drive for about 3 weeks, and even didn’t have to worry about the insurance! Just fill the gas and drive! Where you can have a service like that? Andy at Mayfield Toyota!
I road tested the new car to Spruce Grove. Happy with the test, happy with color, happy with all the functions, and wondering about the functions I didn’t know. But Andy prepared that for me already, he explained to me after my road test. He answered my wondering questions and instructed me right away how the functions work. And even put marks in the operator’s manual for important things I may be looking for. He even booked my first shop service date!

Worst Experience Ever! I Ended up buying a Nissan the next day....,
I took my 80 year old father to “price out” a vehicle & had I not been with him, the sales man who said he “grew up in th Congo” would have definitely taken advantage of him & sold him a vehicle that did not the features he wanted. The sales man was very clear that the trim model my father wanted had all the optional features he wanted (blind spot detector & back up camera) & that was very clear that this was on the “base” model.
.The salesman was also was very clear that the vehicle my father was now interested in purchasing had even more features at the base trim level. I expressed to the salesman my surprise given I recently purchased a vehicle from another manufacturer & I had to purchase a “Premier” edition for those two features...

The salesman refused to give me a price without a test drive while they inspected my fathers trade in.... I was clear that I did not want a test drive I just wanted a price so “my time” was no wasted if it was over his budget.... I find when we were very close to coming to an agreement when the sales manager got involved that the salesman provided us with the wrong information & lies to make a sale! Even while I was telling the sales manager what he said was in the price of the car, the salesman just stood there, never once admitting he made a mistake. The sales manager gave us a price on the top trim model at a discount (trying to keep a customer) & seemed apologetic for the salesman’s error & we decided to make a final decision the next day. On the way home we stopped at Nissan who gave us a price on the trim model with the features we wanted & purchased the vehicle last night... I will never shop at this dealership again; the salesman either lied to make a sale OR was so incompetent he did not know his product. I cannot believe Toyota would even allow this!

After test driving cars at a number of dealerships, I test drove my little Prius C and fell in love with the car, got a great deal with no pressure or hassle, and lifetime oil changes. The finance team were extremely efficient and helpful, and everything went swimmingly. Would recommend to anyone. Wayne in particular was genuine and friendly and easy to deal with, which was not always the case.

Andrew Dye assisted me in my purchase of an 2007 FX35 and from the beginning he was great he sent me a video before I even came in to the dealership to show me the vehicle I was interested in. He was defiantly not your typical used sales men type guy not pushy at all just wanted to help you with what you really wanted bottom line. Everyone at the dealership actually was really respectful and not like others where when you pull into the lot they jump on you. After I decided I was going to purchase we went over a few small problems with the vehicle they fixed ALL the things I asked and more and even gave me a service rental as that was being done. I have worked at a dealership and I haven't seen such courtesy and compassion behind a dealership. In financing I also received great service when I purchased undercarriage protection that is life time warrantied and again was not at all pushed to get or purchase warranty. Just all around a great dealership!!! I would send anyone I know there and ask for Andrew Dye.

Buying a vehicle is a complicated task when we have so much to choose from, everyone give you different option and different schemes, at the end what I have seen is that we end-up loosing money. After weighing in many options based on my experience and requirements, I finally bought Toyota Highlander Hybrid 2014 Limited Edition. Three months of driving of this vehicle with a nice back-up camera , blue tooth enabled features, driver easy speak feature, blind spot warning and a great navigation system has been an excellent and safe driving experience. The lane departure assistance (LDA) and automatic slow down feature on freeways are great safety features. Maneuvering is very easy while steering this vehicle.

I experienced a great customer service from Andrew Dye (Manager) Ruby Bhinder (Sales Associate) and Karim (Finance Manager). They are a great team. They are thoroughly professional, co-operative, informative and knowledgeable. They provide frank and honest information and opinion. They answered my questions with patience and humble approach.

I would highly recommend Mayfield Toyota, Edmonton and the sales team, I have dealt with.
