Robert Eaton is a great product advisor and has extensive knowledge of the Toyota line up. I was happy to find he is very friendly, low pressure, honest, and knows a lot about trucks and mods as well. Her co-worker David Moran was also great. If you are buying a car from here please ask for Ashley or Dave as they will help you. I only gave 4 stars as we also experienced another sales guy(supposedly a manager) who was so unhelpful and tbh rude.....if it wasn’t for Ashley we would have gone elsewhere. When searching for a new vehicle, you've made your first A+ decision by choosing a Toyota, but now what? In Calgary alone Google says there's 7 different dealerships with around 18 in Alberta. On the bright side, this must be a sign indicating Toyota does well in Alberta, but how is one suppose to decide from here? Thankfully, I've been to numerous locations as I live in rural Alberta, equal distance to Edmonton and Calgary. Having been to approximately 8 different locations, and speaking with a wide range of associates I can officially claim, Canyon Creek as my number 1 location. The sales associate that stood out the most for me was a young female by the name of Ashley Philpott. I never felt like I was wasting her time, or she had better places to be. She always answered all my questions, despite my lack of vehicle knowledge, which made her have to break things down to a level I could grasp. I wasn't in a rush to make my decision and Ashley made me feel like I didn't have to be for such a large purchase. She was kind, realistic, non-pushy, respectful, honest and overall easy to talk and relate to. We even ended up talking about dogs for a solid 20minutes.
In the end, you will not regret choosing Ashley Philpott from Canyon Creek for any of your vehicle needs.

*This review is primarily about the service department*

*Biggest feedback is I wish the dealerships worked together more to satisfy customers during buying and service processes.*

Purchased a 2018 Tacoma almost 2 years ago from this location. Was an easy purchase, knew specifically what I wanted. The dealership worked with me a little to get a bit of a price reduction. Nothing crazy special, but a pleasant purchase.

Service Department. I come in every 8000km (as requested by the dealership) to help maintain the vehicle. This costs me money every time, and I live 45 minutes one way to get to the dealership. By no means are these trips free. I am just under 50,000 on the vehicle.

Side Mirror Replacement. Needed to replace side mirror, and when had the service department look at it and determine which parts were needed. After being told to order the parts myself, I asked the department to order the parts for me and then we could book the appointment to fix it(found that strange). On the day of the appointment I am told it will be 1 hour. After 1 hour of waiting I am approached and told that they did not order half the parts needed. They also did not install the first half the parts, so why was I waiting the hour?
I do not want to come back to this location, as it is an hour and a half round trip for me to drive, so I will be going to another Toyota closer to home for this repair. After expressing this, instead of offering to help me order the remaining parts(he did give me the part numbers I needed), the service rep talked about how the parts department was going to "get in trouble" because they are going to have to "send the part back" and it would cost the dealership money.... This is no concern to me, I am concerned about the repair on my vehicle.
Why do I now have to order both parts again through another Toyota? You are sending a part back, that costs you $, that I need and will be ordering again. Sounds silly right?

Blind Spot Detector repair has also been ongoing. After about 2 months the blind spot detector lights on the side mirrors stopped working. I mention it at least half the times I am there, but never get any clear answer on how we can get that fixed. This is not a big concern for me, as I keep forgetting to mention it, but it is never addressed when I do.

I love Toyota Vehicles, wish the human end had a little more focus.

I currently lease from CC Toyota. Have went through extraneous measures and time for them to correct their faulty rotors/brakes which were under warranty, which I finally got fixed after 9 months. Now they send me an email advertising that they will beat 5% of any competitor's winter tire price. But when I give them a printed quote from a tire retailer, they tell me it needs to be in the form of a printed invoice with parts numbers. Nowhere in their ad, even in the fine print, did they mention these "rules" and after talking with the Parts Manager, they refuse to honor my WRITTEN quote. FALSE ADVERTISING. There is absolutely no way they will be getting any future business from me when my lease is up. I do not recommend this dealership for customer service.

However, when it comes to my 4Runner and all the great work that has been done at Canyon Creek Toyota, I felt I should give back to them for well over a decade++ of work! Lawrence Viegas (Service Advisor) and a mechanic (wish I could add his name here too but don't know it, sorry man), did a great job yet again in answering my questions with patience and a great sense of humor. They always try their very best to work with you and not to simply take our well earned money as we all know how bloody expensive car dealerships can be! They are by far the best Toyota dealership if not the best dealership in town. The sales guys (especially Robert and Drew) are very understanding, thorough and will do anything and everything they can to help the customer. I usually don’t have a great experience with this dealership, from purchasing to service, however this time the service was great. I was a bit shocked. I’m sorry, I don’t recall the name of the gentleman that was at the counter, but he was great, even told me that they could get the service done right away, rather than leaving the van all day.

We went in on Saturday and they couldn't get the car we really wanted so they tried to "convince" us that we wanted a car on the lot that we really didn't want. Eventually, I was frustrated and went outside. They felt this was the perfect opportunity to "convince" my husband that they were giving him a really great deal - once again on a car we really didn't want. My husband ended up being convinced to leave a $500 deposit to hold the deal, and we would discuss it, once again on a car we really didn't want.
